Change

 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;

 behold, all things become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

The word 'change' is found 26 times in the King James Version (KJV).

The meaning of change: the act or instance of making or becoming different:

I think I will change my mind about studying this word.

Well maybe not. LOL

I do believe in life we become comfortable with our surroundings, our people, our life.  Some of us welcome change, some cringe at the thought. But in reality, nothing in life stays exactly the same! Our world seems to be changing faster than we can keep up. I find that change is going to happen no matter what we do, every day holds different experiences, different people, different challenges, and different loves. Life without change would become boring and flat..

It is not the change that is the challenge it’s how and what we do with the change that truly matters. I have discovered there is only one thing in our lives has been the same since the beginning of time... So how is it that this constant in our life can make such an impactful change in our heart and our life.  It gently prompts the biggest changes in human behavior than anything and anyone on earth can offer or even witness.

Before I change my mind I will share a secret that I recently discovered. If you feel you are in need of a positive change.. If you want to experience a love like nothing you have ever felt.  If you want to feel peace in your soul.

I know how you can change your life, your perspective, your LOVE no matter your circumstance.

All you need to do is connect your heart to the constant ONE...He will guide you, He will LOVE you. He will breathe life into your soul... but you must be willing to LOVE Him in return and get yourself ready for the most amazing impactful changes you will ever experience. Let me introduce this beautiful soul. His name is Abba, His name is Jesus, His Name is Holy Spirit. I lovingly call them LOVEs my 3N'ONE'.

His depth of love is such a constant and you can count on it for eternity.

Its Him, It's always Him.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1

Whisper

The word “whisper” appears 16 times in the NIV translation of the Bible.

Meaning of whisper a soft or confidential tone of voice; a whispered word or phrase:

Have your heard God's whisper? Have you felt him in your soul? Are we to busy to get up close and personal with God?

I say let’s try. I am sitting in the darkness. It's 5am as I began to pray, There is a soft light trickling through the cracks in the blinds. I am listing to soft music and the words of the song playing say I will trust you..and I begin to pray...

I always start by opening my heart and inviting him in.. come, come speak to my soul. Let me feel your love. Let me hear the gentle whisper of your voice.  It’s in these moments you can be touched by his presence. It’s in these moments you will feel his love stirring in your soul. It’s in these moments you can hear the soft whisper of His melodic voice. His voice will speak sweetness to your soul. You will be swept away in thoughts of Him. But you will stop and you will whisper thank you for the gift of you.. and you will ask what can I do for you, Lord? Then you must listen with soulful ears and yearn to hear the frequency of His love calling to your heart...

There is beauty in the stillness of the morning. There is a peacefulness that radiates from within. There is a bond of love that happens between our Father's spirit and our souls.. Keep pressing in and keep listening. Search for Him in the stillness of the moment. keep inviting Him into your heart, Be diligent in waiting on Him, keep listening for His whispers. Because he is calling your name.

It’s Him, It’s only Him...

“Open your ears, God, to my prayer; don’t pretend you don’t hear me knocking. Come close and whisper your answer. I really need you.

Psalm 55:1-2MSG.

Invisible

Listen to my voice! Hear me! See Me! Count me in !! I am HERE !!!

The word invisible is mentioned in 22 scriptures in the Bible.

The meaning of invisible unable to see. That cannot be seen; imperceptible by the sight. Millions of stars, invisible to the naked eye, may be seen by the telescope.

The word invisible was a word that popped up in conversation this week. I actually used the term borderline invisible, as I described how I saw my life before I felt God’s touch. It left me curious and led me to raise this question. Why and what caused me to even think of myself as invisible?? It actually puzzled me and to find out more I had to go deep within my heart for answers.

My life has always been pretty blessed. So why? Let’s start with how others see us? I was sometimes perceived as shy? aloof? flatline? non-emotional? All of these words have been used by others to describe me.

Are these traits we acquire through life’s trials? Or are we born with them?  I do believe we are born with attributes that come with our DNA. But many of our personality traits come from our victories, successes, pain and failures, and how we and others respond to them. I am not an expert in this field and can only speak from my experience and my heart.

In my life, I have mostly been attracted to outgoing personalities. Because I could be a part of the group with little interaction. I had become comfortable with my role. That is why I became a photographer because I could hide behind the lens and still witness and capture the beauty around me. I hid my heart and my emotions followed. I only allowed a select trusted few into my personal space. I became a person that felt deeply but I was too guarded to truly share my thoughts.

When I lost my sister to cancer, I requested to be the photographer at the memorial because I could hide. It was safe there. I did not have to face the loss or show the emotions that went along with my wounded heart. As I made my way around the room, I watched and captured life from a distance.

I had truly become invisible.

However, it seems God saw something in me and decided to switch things up. I am not sure why exactly? But on that pivotal day in May of 2018, He touched my soul with an incredible LOVE. A love to this day I still find so hard to describe. He introduced me to the Holy Spirit, and Jesus, and together they have gently guided me on an incredible journey of discovery. This amazing journey was not only to discover who they are…. but they have peeled back the layers of life and are teaching me who I truly am. (I am still a work in progress) and it is my understanding that this process is never-ending.

They have opened my heart to life and love. They have given me a voice, they have given me a boldness to stand up and share my vulnerable heart with the world.  I won’t sugar coat it.  There have been times of confusion, there have been times of fear, there have been many tears. There have been times when I have felt abandoned by some. There have been other beautiful souls that have come to share life. But with every experience they placed in front of me, there has been growth, there has been wonderment and above all, there has been an indescribable LOVE. And with that love, they have given me an amazing story to share.

There are those who believe, the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are invisible, unemotional, maybe even flatline. My experience with the 3N1… is that they are attainable, they are not invisible, we may not be able to see them with the human eye… But they are here with us, they are alive. They are exciting, gentle, and kind. They possess a love like no other.

I know this because my soul feels them in the deepest chambers of my vulnerable heart…. I can only pray that you see them in my eyes, in my smile, and in my touch.  And I ask you, if you do nothing else please hear them in my voice.

It’s Him, It’s always him.

Don’t be invisible. Live life loved. Live life large. Feel them in your soul. Your life will never be the same. It will be brighter and richer than you can ever imagine.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature? Colossians 1:15

But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live! Exodus 33:20.

Mission

"His life a ransom for many" Matthew 20:28

The word mission is in the Bible 59 times.

Meaning of mission: The biblical concept is expressed by the use of verbs meaning "to send, " normally with God as the expressed subject.

Wow, I am standing on the ocean shore. waves are ripping and rolling so majestically with such power and grace. But as I stand watching this fascinating wonder. My mind drifted to today’s word study “mission”. My mind opened to the memory of a beautiful love story and my thoughts drifted to a man with a mission for all mankind.

His mission was planned by our heavenly Father. He sent a part of Himself to earth to show us how to love and how to live.

Did He have a choice?  He could have said no I am not going. Let them figure it out. I am comfortable here in heaven. Why would I subject myself to such things?

I feel that He came because of Love. Love is the very essence of who He is. Possessing this vast ability to love there was no way He would not come and try to rescue His children. He wanted to make sure that what He asks of us was and is indeed attainable.

I see Him much like the ocean. His love swept like the tide through cities, countries, and our world. He walked the walk not just talked the talk.

I do feel that we are all programmed to yearn for Him.  There is such a human pull on the heart. And until you find Him there will always be unrest in your soul.

Your soul innately searches for the warmth of His love. You crave to feel the mist of Him in the salty breeze upon our faces. You stand in awe of the beauty He brings. He leaves you speechless.

When we look at His life on earth, and the last words He uttered “it is finished” ... Such words bring us to a statement of undying LOVE ...

His Kingly mission was never aborted no matter how difficult it became, no matter the trials He faced. He completed it to letter. It is the most amazing gift and it what He was born to do.

However, with every end, there is a new beginning. So, when we look upon the ocean, we see a horizon that seems to stretch for eternity, as the waves continue to roll ashore, they give us hope for a brighter tomorrow. We see Him and His creations in every wave, we hear His voice in the roaring tide. And as He fills our souls with His love, our focus becomes Him!!!

He is the ultimate LOVE. And I have found that Love can not survive without giving it away. It can not exist and in time will perish. He needs and craves to Love His children just as much as we need Him. It truly is
a match made in heaven.

It’s Him It’s always Him

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

So, Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. John 7:16

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29

Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” a jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:28 NLT

Fail

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 1:24

The meaning of fail is to be unsuccessful in achieving one's goal.

"he failed in his attempt to secure election". Neglect to do something.

There are 88 Verses About Fail from 27 Books of the Bible.

Fail a four-letter word that can carry such huge scars… Life is such a learning experience every moment of every day. When thinking about this word my mind raced to my childhood and school. It's there I learned there is punishment with failure.  We all have been there at one time or another. Its those graded papers fault. Those terrible red marks.. yikes. As if the red marks are not bad enough we then had to share this news with our parents… And there is where you were given the final dispensation for the crime commented.

Our value system is based on these milestones of life. But when I look to the Bible for help. I see where failure turned in the hope. Because you see its not the failure that truly defines who we are. It is how well we run the race!!

And then I had this question, did we fail Jesus at the cross? I do believe many viewed Him that day and said. We stopped His Mission He failed. But the beauty of His love is, it never fails. Because that day what some viewed as a failure turned out to be the greatest LOVE story ever told.

So today do we ask ourselves can we love Him enough to show the world He did not fail? And that His Mission of LOVING us so much was indeed a success. It was a success not because of us, but because He was willing to do whatever it would take to complete the mission. A mission set before Him by our Heavenly Father.

It was such a monumental sacrificial gift. One that we can never repay. It did leave me with this thought. I feel, at the end of every day when we talk to HIM, we should ask, did we run a good race? and did we love you enough?

You will find that in dealing with Him there is no failure… He will pick you up, He will dust you off, tie your shoes, and say. Let’s try that again tomorrow my child. This time take me with you. He will never leave you. Your success in life depends on Him. He will always be there cheering you on. He will greet you with a high five and a smile as you cross the finish line.

It’s Him It’s always Him.

Be strong and courageous, don't be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, it is He who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6.

"Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." Corinthians 13:8, NIV:

Door (Open the door to your heart)

In the NKJ Bible, the word door is used 159 times. 125 times in the Old Testament and 34 times in the New Testament.

An opening for entering or leaving a house, tent, or room.

In life, doors are either opening or closing... Some may even slam shut!  Leaving us mad, or bewildered and confused or possibly even

thankful ??

In our present-day, we have locked the doors to our homes, businesses, churches. Many have listened to authorities and have virtually hunkered down and rolled up the carpet and are passing the time with family.

A situation forcing us to evaluate what is important. It is crushing the economic health of our lives. It's affecting how we conduct our relationships with the outside world. Keep your distance rule. It SAFE but lacks our human need to touch, belong, hug, or just hold hands.

Times are sad for many. But I truly feel there is good news among this challenging time... I feel and have witnessed many are finding comfort by opening the door to their heart like never before. In the midst of these uncertain times, many are feeling that tug of their heart and hearing

God's subtle whisper in their soul.

I, like many of you, have heard when God closes one door He will open another ...That statement is resonating in homes across America. We have closed the physical doors to life as we know it but have opened the spiritual doors like never before.

Yes, these are unprecedented times. The Bible tells us Jesus is available for anyone who is ready to knock.

So, lay back, close your eyes, get very still, and listen... You will hear and feel the door to your heart-opening.  You will experience love and unbridled curiosity and passion to know Christ like never before!! It’s in times of stress and anxiety that we can truly feel His presence. He is just on the other side of the door. He says knock ..  I say open it!! Embrace Him and love Him like you have never loved him before... He is the ONLY answer!!

It’s Him, it’s always Him.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.REV 3:20 NIV

Behold

            (1 X 1 X 1 = 1)

The word behold appears in 1,527 instances in the Bible.

Meaning of Behold to see or observe (a thing or person, especially a remarkable or one)." The botanical gardens were a wonder to behold"

Behold is from Middle English beholden, from Old English behealdan(“to hold, have, occupy, possess, guard, preserve, contain, belong, keep, observe, consider, behold, look at, gaze on.

Behold. Is this a word that is time-stamped and dated? It is no longer used in our day to day activity. Have we as a society lost our luster for the beauty of language? Have we traveled so far that we have lost the true meaning of our heritage? Our language has evolved into emojis and random texts😳Can we turn back to a value system and speak eloquent words of romance and love and caring?

Behold… if given the task to incorporate this word in our lives just how would we use this word? I can only speak for myself and how my journey has unfolded. When I look at the word behold. I would use it to describe a LOVE that transcends time and space.  I do believe this LOVE etched His name on my heart. On a special day in May when He touched my soul.

This word Behold can only speak of God the Father, His beautiful Son, and the very breath of God Himself the Holy Spirit.  They are the only ones that truly deserve and possess such a bigger than life status.  The word behold demands and complements, one of royalty, one of beauty, and one that leaves you breathless and in awe.

If I was given the task of introducing Him to you. I would definitely use the word Behold…  and tell you I call Him LOVE because there is no one in heaven or on earth that possesses such Glory… and depth of LOVING!!

So, did we as a society, truly stop using this word in general conversation because we knew…It was reserved for someone greater than life itself?

How does He bring such beauty and grace through the ages? Behold…

It's Him, Its always Him

I am sharing the interesting fact below.

As I tried to understand this word I began by dissecting the word in 2 parts and this is what I found.

(the meaning of the words)

1. BE 2. HOLD

1.   BE intransitive verb. 1a: to equal in meaning: have the same connotation as symbolize God is love

2.   HOLD Noun - power or control.

He blows my beholding mind !!! WOW!!

No man can behold all my glory, Moses 1:5.

And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; Gen 9:9

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the worldJohn 1:29

Surrender

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
 James 4:7

Surrender meaning Yield Upward. Surrendering all to God means to yield upward rather than to our current circumstances.

The word surrender or various words utilizing the mean of surrender appears in the Bible 35 instances.

Surrender is it the opposite of having power?? Or is the act of surrender seen by others as an act of weakness? I do think when we look at surrender with our human eyes, we see weak, we see discourage, we see the loss of control?? But by digging deep within, and with the guidance of our loving God.

I would like to look at surrender from another vantage point...Sometimes the best strategy is not always from a weak surrendered position. But from a position of truly looking at the bigger picture. Surrendering to God does not strip us of the elements that make us who we are.

Letting go and letting God puts us in a state of acceptance, growth, refinement, and begins a transformation that only God can orchestrate.  However, I will simplify. God cannot help us get to our destination unless we give him the keys to the car... in this case our heart.

So, when we pray and ask Him for help, with finances, with relationships, or with any of our life trials... Be prepared to give Him the keys... If you sit in the passenger seat and continue to shift the gears ... forward, neutral, reverse ??? Eventually, the car will not function as it is intended and eventually the gears will be stripped ... That is when you will realize you could have avoided all the pitfalls in your “life’s journey.” If you would have only surrendered. You should have Let Go and Let Him manage all aspects of your (Life) trip.

Because you see God will always be sitting in the driver's seat. And you realize you were too stubborn, and could not see the big picture. You would not let go of the gear shift. But one day you will come to a crossroad, a road eventually we all must travel and there you will be so weak you will willingly surrender ...

So, I suggest that we surrender from a position of strategy by looking at the bigger picture. He is sitting in the driver’s seat!!! So, Let go, give him full control! And then Kick back and enjoy the ride.

So, the decision becomes do I surrender my keys now or do I wait until I am weak, and I surrender them anyway.

I would further ask what is it that we value so much in this world that we would not want to surrender to Him??? Personally, He already has my keys. I gave them to Him when I surrendered my heart. And now like any child, I ask Him... are we there yet!!! Because it’s been a heck of a ride so far.

Zoom 🏎 Zoom.

It's Him. it’s always Him.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:6 -10 ESV

“And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? NLT.
