Future

 It's Him. It's always HIM !..

Meaning of future the time or a period of time following the moment of speaking or writing; time regarded as still to come:

There are 23 verses about  the future in the Bible.

The word future holds many emotions. When I googled this word other words related to this word jumped out at me... fear, hope, unknown, tomorrow, faith, God..

These words seem to capture my thoughts. Yesterday’s events here in the US brought fear to many hearts... Watching violence against our Government is never an easy thing to witness.. Faith may be solid for some. But for some their faith may be challenged.. Some may have their faith misdirected..

The question becomes where, and in what or in who do we put our trust? Our faith? Who holds the key to our hope ?  Our love? Our peace ? How do we return our inner soul to a peaceful loving state for tomorrow?

I have used the words that jumped out at me to describe my thoughts, questions and feelings about the word future..

But I left the best one for last. It such a small word... But it has the greatest impact on our lives, our future, and all of our tomorrows.

It’s God.. He is the only answer.. He is where our faith should be directed.. He is where our hope for a brighter tomorrow can be found.  He is where love can always be felt.

He gave us His beautiful creations.. He gave us love.. He gave us His world... He gave us His beautiful Son and what have we done ? It is sad to see! What do you think He is thinking ? Feeling? Do you think He is disappointed ? Do you think it breaks His heart?

I do! 💔

In these uncertain times we must pray, but is that enough?

I say no.. We must begin to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.. We must love, we must show kindness, we must respect others and their views without judgment. We must find that inner peace that can only be found in God.. And we must share it with others!!!! Let’s stop the hate, the violence. Let’s come together and let’s build a better world.. Let’s show God we love and appreciate Him and His gifts.

If not for all mankind. Let’s do it for the one who has put His faith in us, we are the ones He trusted, the ones He loves!!!

It’s us! It has always been us!!!

He sacrificed everything because He loves us...

The key 🔑 for a beautiful tomorrow is Him !

Why can’t the masses see it ??

It’s Him, Its always Him!

Our Future is in His hands.

I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,

My God, in whom I trust. Psalms 91:2

“Always trust the LORD completely. Do not think that your own wisdom is enough. Remember the LORD in everything that you do. If you do, he will show you the right way to go.”Proverbs 3:5-6 EASY

“The plans that the Lord makes will always happen. His ideas will always be with us.”Psalms 33:11 EASY

Gate

Still, round the corner, there may wait, A new road or a secret gate. j.R.R.TolKien

Meaning of Gate: an opening in a wall or fence. 2: a city or castle entrance often with defensive structures (such as towers) 3a: the frame or door that closes a gate. b: a movable barrier (as at a grade crossing) 4a: a means of entrance or exit.

There are so many gates mentioned in the Bible. In fact, the word gate appears 418 times in the KJV.

As I thought about the word gate. This image crept into my mind. A small child.. a summer day and a farmhouse with a fence and a gate.

I don’t know about you but if this child is me. I would put my small feet on the base of the gate and push. It squeaks, I giggle and find its quite fun.. lets do it again and again… such a cheap thrill. But this thrill and fun are short-lived because I hear my Father’s voice calling me home.

You ask what does that have to do with a Bible word study??

I say a lot… How many of us ride the fence? How many keep our feet on the Gate? How many cannot see our way clear to focus on the gate. How many of us are still looking for the thrill? How many do not hear our father's voice calling us home?

The Bible is clear that Christ is the gate. He is the only entry point into the presence of God.  He himself tells us He is the Door/Gate.

So, the question becomes, do we keep looking for the cheap thrill, the fun moments. Or do we focus on Christ? Do we focus on a greater love for eternity? Do we prepare our hearts to walk through the gate? or do our feet get stuck in the holes of the swinging gate??

We all have choices to make? For me, I am determined not to ride the gate but I am determined to focus on Him.

Its Him, It's always Him..,

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13-14

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Lonely

“As delicate as a flower, as tender as rose petals, choosing to be tender and kind in a harsh environment is not weakness, it's courage.” ― Luffina Lourduraj

Lonely being without company: cut off from others: solitary

Loneliness is mentioned 6 times. However, alone is written about in the Bible over 300 instances.

It is in our nature to crave that feeling of belonging. To feel that we are a part of something bigger than just ourselves.

Lonely can manifest itself in many ways... Our family our friends or lack thereof can cause this void feeling in our souls. This can happen at any given time in our lives.

Many life trials or experiences can leave us with our hearts feeling lonely... and searching for answers. It truly is a strange phenomenon to me how we can live a full life and still feel a lonely pull on our soul.

I do believe if we have had a Divine spiritual experience we can find ourselves set apart.  Very few will truly understand. Many will not want to talk to you about the Divine presence that has caused such a depth of love in your soul. It becomes the norm to be preoccupied with chasing this amazing spiritual presence.

He leaves you with a burning desire to share your heart with others.  But many will not relate nor will they understand. And as this walk with the Trinity continues.  You are viewed as overzealous.. over-excited or just a plain ole Jesus lover.  So many will avoid you, adding to the feeling of isolation.

I question why is it ok to be zealous when speaking of sports, bands, movie stars, etc... But it’s not ok to speak with excitement about God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit?? My question would be what makes you excited? And did they ever have a hand breathing life into your very existence? Is our excitement misdirected?

I do find that as we move closer and closer to the Trinity the divide between our spiritual heart and society widens. But as this gap widens, we can find solace in resting in Their presence. We will find that Jesus has known this loneliness. Many shunned Him in this same way. So He comes to us fully knowing the heartbreak and the void we feel..  He offers us comfort and a love like no other. It's beyond human understanding.

So whatever may cause you to feel that void or that loneliness in your soul.. Know you are never truly alone. He is with us always.. and forever!  Who else can make that commitment or promise?

Only He can! So get excited! Get over zealous! And join souls that feel His love, it's a love that will leave you speechless.

It’s Him, It’s always Him...

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20b, NIV

“As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. Psalm 17:15

“See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.” Isaiah Isaiah 49:16

Vulnerability

E
pisode 7 is dedicated to my sister in Heaven. Grief is a strange thing. Not all of us deal with the grief of losing someone we hold dear the same.  Even if we do not show the emotion at the time of impact. It does not mean that the pain is not buried deep within our hearts and soul. I call this my dark episode.  When in fact I think this episode proves to me that God can open the window to heaven. We just need to be a willing vessel. I believe what set the tone for my heavenly connection was music and meditation. And then God handled it from there. He gave me peace and showed me a glimpse of a LOVE that transcends all time and space.

Delicate

Life is a delicate dance of love between God and man. (LG)

Meaning of delicate easily broken or damaged; fragile.

The word delicate is referenced in 62 verses in the Bible.

The word delicate came to mind as soft as a whisper. It penetrated my heart and lingered on my mind with a scent of love. It moved like a raindrop on a window pain.. it can be heard in a newborn baby's cry.

Our skin can feel the delicate breeze against our skin.

Our lives are a sweet delicate gift from our Heavenly Father.

His romance moves our souls to bloom like a delicate flower. His voice can come as a faint whisper or a roaring thunder. He loves us so much He gave us His delicate baby boy.

This beautiful life.. grew into an amazing man that has been loved and cherished by many. But there were those that scoffed and wounded His body and soul. He was such an amazing man that He continues to offer love and forgiveness to anyone who may have wounded His heart. He offers anyone who craves that delicate love, a beautiful relationship. He speaks to our delicate hearts words of love.

His presence leaves that scent of love that can lift you to a higher realm of existence.  This love will penetrate your heart and linger for eternity.. He comes as soft and delicate as a breeze against our skin. Just one drop of His blood can move mountains.. He is delicate... in His touch but He is a mighty warrior.

How does He know how to give us what we need? How is it that He can touch my heart so tenderly and fight your battle and yet see and hear that delicate baby’s cry all the same time? Who can be everything to everyone? How does He keep it straight?  I do know there is strength in numbers and when you combine the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit there is nothing that can not be accomplished.  Together They radiate a beautiful spiritual love that can boggle the mind. They are a force of power that can not be stopped..

I for one search for Them daily. As I meditated today I felt Their delicate whisper across my skin. My heart leapt as His presence was felt in my soul. We can see their mighty power as they work wonders in our lives. We just need to be open to receive this beautiful delicate gift of LOVE. We are will always be a delicate part of Him.

It’s Him. it’s always Him

Revelation 21:1-27

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.

Commit

To commit is to fully dedicate yourself to somethingCommit can also mean "perform an act" — often the kind that can get you in trouble.

There are approximately 67 Bible verses in the KJV.

To clarify this word I wanted to know the difference between commitment and promise. And this is what I found. Commit is to give in trust; to put into charge or keeping; to entrust; to consign; -- used with to, unto while the promise is to commit to something or action; to make an oath; make a vow.

Now I ask you are you all in? How much are you willing to give? When we commit do we hold back just a little? Are we afraid of commitment? Are we scared of failure? Or do we commit to complete?

We sometimes wrestle with the feeling of giving up on our freedom, our lifestyle, our way of thinking. What drives us to commit to someone? or to a project or to ourselves?

I think the driving factor of commitment is centered around passion, love, and the willingness to offer unselfishly of your time, your blood, sweat, and tears.  I am a firm believer, if you cannot be ALL IN don't bother.

I for one take commitment seriously… I have felt the victory of commitment by others and that my friends is an amazing heartfelt feeling. I have also felt the crushing pain of someone that only gives the appearance of commitment and the relationship imploded at impact.

When I go to the Bible for a Biblical understanding of commit. I find the most beautiful commit played out between a Father and His son. The Son came to earth and committed His life to the Father’s children. He loved them, He walked among them. He LOVED them. He was so committed He gave it all !! HE was ALL IN!! Never did He fall short… Never did He turn away… The Father committed to never leave Him. Even knowing the suffering that was to come they remained committed to each other.

Jesus never stopped loving His Father. Even until the bitter end.  He continued to stay committed to the Father, the project, and to love the Father’s children far beyond what they deserve.

His last words prove the commitment and love they had for each other. As Jesus tortured body hung from the cross and He gasped for His last breath He called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."  What an amazing commitment of LOVE. One can only hope we come close to achieving this type of love commitment to Him.

So now I ask you ARE YOU ALL IN ???

He is. Are you?

Its Him, It's always HIM…

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. Psalms 31:5

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring [it] to pass. Psalms 37:5

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3.

I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Job 5:8.

Purpose

So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:26/27

.The meaning of purpose the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

There are 45 verses that reference purpose in the Bible.

The word purpose can leave one either very focused or very confused…

I have witnessed a small portion of the population are blessed knowing their purpose in life as a child. Most seem to be hyper-focused and become protégés early in life. But I do not believe that is normal for most of the general population.

When I think back at my life, my purpose changed according to what was happening in my life. You can probably relate. As a child, my purpose was to go to school get good grades, and stay out of trouble.  As you grow into a young adult you began to try to understand your purpose and pray you to get it right. But then life happens, and you have children of your own.  And like many moms and dads, your purpose becomes your children. And they become a large chunk of your life. Working to provide for their care. Working to ensure their happiness. Working to love them through all of their trials. Then one day they are grown. And they began the cycle of life outlined above.

And if you are blessed you become a part of their team and help support them and their children. Because in this world it is so true. We do need a village to raise a child.

But as important as this is. When someone finds you and redirects your focus in a mighty way. How can we explain it? How can we pursue it? How can we understand it?

I can only speak from my experience. God found me on a lonely road in Tennessee. I have been trying to explain it by sharing my experience and writing about my journey. It’s has taken me many hours of pursuing Him to understand Him and what He wants. You see it truly is quite simple. We are the ones who complicate our relationship with our Heavenly Father, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. (3N1)

His purpose has always been His children. They are a large chunk of His life. He is always providing for their care. He wants to ensure our happiness. He will love us through all of our life trials.

He wants us to love Him with all our mind, body, and soul. Because that is how He loves us. with everything He has!! It’s a love like no other.

It seems that our true purpose is to LOVE. So how do we miss the mark so many times? How can we truly fill our purpose?

I have found when you love Him with all your mind, body, and soul your purpose to LOVE becomes clear. Because when you do this your focus becomes clear. and everything around you has new meaning and you began living a purposeful life. He is the gift and the key to achieving our life’s purpose.

It's Him. It's always Him

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 1 Peter 2:9 KJV

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

But whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Psalm 1 2-3

Yearn

The Monastery of the Immaculate Conception is a monastery in Ferdinand, Indiana

..Meaning of yearn: to have an intense feeling of longing for something, typically something that one has lost or been separated from.

The word yearn is in approximately 23 instances in the Bible.

When I hear the word yearn, I am transported to the period of time called the RenaissanceWhere the subject of love was written with such passion and artistry. It has withstood the test of time and has been appreciated for generations. The word yearn points me to that a famous quote by William Shakespeare. “O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? By any other word would smell as sweet. Parting is such sweet sorrow.” Where two young teens had a LOVE so strong that the thought of living without the one they yearned for, made life not worth living.

That my friend is a yearning beyond our comprehension.

Is that so farfetched? When we look at yearning on a spiritual level.. It can be difficult to navigate in these unknown waters. When you feel the beautiful presence of God. It can fill your soul with a love that is difficult to explain. But it leaves you with a yearning in your soul for more. There is an unquenchable thirst.

There are scriptures that call to our souls, “if we thirst come.” (Rev 22:17) I do believe before we are born our souls have tasted the living water, and we were satisfied. And then as we travel in this life on earth. We are in a constant search to taste and be filled by that living water. It’s a yearning that comes from the deepest part of the soul. It’s a desire to be loved. It’s a yearning of missing the bond we once had with our creator. And yes, we can bond with Him on a spiritual level. But as humans, we yearn for His touch, for His embrace, for His love.

If you do not continue to seek Him your yearning for that missing piece in your life will never be satisfied. There are many who try to be filled with earthly possessions and successes and have taken their eye off the bigger picture.  Eternity! With the greatest love that has ever been given with such passion and artistry. It has withstood the test of time and has been appreciated for generations.

Him, It's always Him.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.(Rev 22:17)

Adoration

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5

Meaning of adoration deep love and respect. worship; veneration. In the Bible Adoration is respect, reverence, strong admiration, or devotion in a certain person, place, or thing. The term comes from the Latin adōrātiō, meaning "to give homage or worship to someone or something".

There are approximately 21 verses about the word adoration.

When we look at our world the word adoration seems to be a skewed practice. And it can be seen across genders, cultures, and religious boundaries.  What do we adore? Is it those favorite pair of beautiful stylish pumps? Is it that sports figure that clinches the win for your home team? Is it that beautiful building with state of the art technology we call a worship center? Wow, when I dive into what we as humans adore this list can go on for miles.

I believe the word adore can be closely connected to the word love.  When we fall in love with someone, we have a tendency to adore even the most irritating traits. We may even find them cute, where others see them as character flaws.

So, I will ask you what do you adore? Are we truly adoring what really brings value to our lives ?? Let’s create a checklist.

Does it give you peace? Does it give you hope? Does it give you a love beyond anything you have ever known? It’s it available day and night 365 days a year? Rain or shine? Will it stay with you when you are afraid? Will it show you how to LIVE? Will it deliver you from the pits of despair? Will it cheer your victories? Will it offer a hand to hold? Will it have no end date ?? Will it share the secret to living life to its fullest?

Well, hmm I have found such a person and I adore Him. I adore His character. I adore Him because He Loves me as much as He loves you.

I adore His face, His loving nature, His kindness, His compassion… I adore Him and my list is truly endless! However, I must say I have yet to find any character flaws. He truly is perfect. Others before me have tried, and have failed. I challenge you to find out for yourself. Because I am confident you will fall in love and adore Him too.

Its Him, It's always Him !!

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” Revelation 5:13

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have a love for one another.” John 13: 34:35

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another. John 13:34-35 NIV
