In the NKJ Bible, the word door is used 159 times. 125 times in the Old Testament and 34 times in the New Testament.
An opening for entering or leaving a house, tent, or room.
In life, doors are either opening or closing... Some may even slam shut! Leaving us mad, or bewildered and confused or possibly even
thankful ??
In our present-day, we have locked the doors to our homes, businesses, churches. Many have listened to authorities and have virtually hunkered down and rolled up the carpet and are passing the time with family.
A situation forcing us to evaluate what is important. It is crushing the economic health of our lives. It's affecting how we conduct our relationships with the outside world. Keep your distance rule. It SAFE but lacks our human need to touch, belong, hug, or just hold hands.
Times are sad for many. But I truly feel there is good news among this challenging time... I feel and have witnessed many are finding comfort by opening the door to their heart like never before. In the midst of these uncertain times, many are feeling that tug of their heart and hearing
God's subtle whisper in their soul.
I, like many of you, have heard when God closes one door He will open another ...That statement is resonating in homes across America. We have closed the physical doors to life as we know it but have opened the spiritual doors like never before.
Yes, these are unprecedented times. The Bible tells us Jesus is available for anyone who is ready to knock.
So, lay back, close your eyes, get very still, and listen... You will hear and feel the door to your heart-opening. You will experience love and unbridled curiosity and passion to know Christ like never before!! It’s in times of stress and anxiety that we can truly feel His presence. He is just on the other side of the door. He says knock .. I say open it!! Embrace Him and love Him like you have never loved him before... He is the ONLY answer!!
It’s Him, it’s always Him.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.REV 3:20 NIV
