LOVE (AGAPE) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love" 1 John 4:8

The English word love can be found 311 times in the King James Bible…

Meaning of love; an intense feeling of deep affection:

There are so many types of LOVE that we can experience in a lifetime... Before we are even born, we are loved unconditionally.   Then if we are lucky, we are born to loving caring parents who love us as we grow... This is a love that never ends even if one must leave this earth the LOVE remains ...

As adults we find we love others, in different ways. There is a love of a spouse, there is the love of parents, there is the love of our children, there is the love for special friends. We fall in love with all of these amazing souls... They all have blessed our lives and filled our days and our nights with a beautiful song of love that we can return. It’s a love that we can count on... This love is caring, this love is nurturing, this love warms our hearts and gives us a purpose in this life.

But when you find the Love of God... It will leave you in awe. It will leave you speechless. It can take you from 0 to 60 in just seconds. It will tap into your unknown emotions and place you in unfamiliar territory. It will make you stretch and find your God-given gifts. This love contains such beautiful healing properties. It is like nothing else on earth, nothing else can compare.  It is the most amazing love of the heart and soul that one can ever experience. It makes your life rich with love for others. It makes you see life as never before. It's an amazing state of completeness. It's a feeling of home and oneness. I have been blessed to feel His love. He can bring out miraculous changes within the very core of who you thought you were. He will prime you for the world to see the true essences of who He knows you can be. These changes do not happen overnight. They can take years to come full circle. But we have His promise that he will be with us every step of the way.

As I travel on this journey, I realized that this LOVE is the same unconditional love I felt before I was even born. There and then is when your spirit truly understands the magnitude of this gift. It has been God’s Love that you have felt guiding your life all along. The difference now is that you have found the freedom in your heart to love
Him back...

That my friend is where the sweetness of His LOVE can be truly felt. That is where the music can be truly heard and where the beauty of life truly exists...

Because He is the ultimate gift of LOVE!

It’s him ... it’s always him

“‘Before I form thee in the belly, I have known thee; and before thou comest forth from the womb I have separated thee, a prophet to nations I have made thee.’”Jeremiah 1:5 YLT

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind'  Luke 10:27

Hate

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.

Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

― Martin Luther King Jr.

Hate is listed 85 times in the Bible ...HATE = intense or passionate dislike:

Hate is such a harsh word...I hate diving into this word! But I pray that the exercise of diving in will open the eyes and hearts of others. Our world seems to be so fractured!

Hate and discord seem to be rampant among countries, cities, religions, politicians, families, and people in general far and near.

Hatred is a poison that destroys us from within, producing bitterness that eats away at our hearts and minds. Harboring hate can bring Darkness, Pain, Sadness, Anguish, Hostility, Rejection, Disappointment, Fear, Anxiety just to name a few. Hate can attack our mind, body, and soul and spread like a deadly virus...Hate can be like a pebble that is tossed into a  stream. The rippling impact on others can hurt hearts and souls for generations to come.

Have you ever wondered, does God feel the dark emotion of hate? How can this be if the very essence of His nature is to love? I believe He hates anything that is contrary to LOVE.

I could not write about hate and not think about how Hate tried to destroy a LOVE (Jesus) that was sent to earth to teach us how to LOVE. Hate nailed His precious hands to a wooded cross. Hate made him bleed. Hate made Him suffer a torturous end for the world to witness. It wounds my heart and pierces my soul that this hate was so destructive.💔 Even this visual was not enough to make man feel the anguish enough to make a significate change. What is it that keeps us from learning that LOVE is why we are here?? 😔

Why did we not love Him enough? 😭 Why do we not LOVE others enough?? Have we not valued LIFE enough? Have we not valued this amazing gift of our heritage given to us by God enough?

I fear man will not survive if we do not make changes. We must see the beauty of LOVING  Him... We must see the value in LIFE. We must respect and embrace our differences. We must learn to coexist in peace. We must remain focused on LOVEs (The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit) if we are to thrive instead of surviving.

So if you made it to the end of this post... I will ask you to help me bridge hearts. Lets, embrace His gift of LOVE and spread it like wildfire. One day at a time. One heart at a time. One Love at a time. 🔥

He is our only hope.

It's Him, It's always Him. 😍

Whisper

The word “whisper” appears 16 times in the NIV translation of the Bible.

Meaning of whisper a soft or confidential tone of voice; a whispered word or phrase:

Have your heard God's whisper? Have you felt him in your soul? Are we to busy to get up close and personal with God?

I say let’s try. I am sitting in the darkness. It's 5am as I began to pray, There is a soft light trickling through the cracks in the blinds. I am listing to soft music and the words of the song playing say I will trust you..and I begin to pray...

I always start by opening my heart and inviting him in.. come, come speak to my soul. Let me feel your love. Let me hear the gentle whisper of your voice.  It’s in these moments you can be touched by his presence. It’s in these moments you will feel his love stirring in your soul. It’s in these moments you can hear the soft whisper of His melodic voice. His voice will speak sweetness to your soul. You will be swept away in thoughts of Him. But you will stop and you will whisper thank you for the gift of you.. and you will ask what can I do for you, Lord? Then you must listen with soulful ears and yearn to hear the frequency of His love calling to your heart...

There is beauty in the stillness of the morning. There is a peacefulness that radiates from within. There is a bond of love that happens between our Father's spirit and our souls.. Keep pressing in and keep listening. Search for Him in the stillness of the moment. keep inviting Him into your heart, Be diligent in waiting on Him, keep listening for His whispers. Because he is calling your name.

It’s Him, It’s only Him...

“Open your ears, God, to my prayer; don’t pretend you don’t hear me knocking. Come close and whisper your answer. I really need you.

Psalm 55:1-2MSG.

Fail

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 1:24

The meaning of fail is to be unsuccessful in achieving one's goal.

"he failed in his attempt to secure election". Neglect to do something.

There are 88 Verses About Fail from 27 Books of the Bible.

Fail a four-letter word that can carry such huge scars… Life is such a learning experience every moment of every day. When thinking about this word my mind raced to my childhood and school. It's there I learned there is punishment with failure.  We all have been there at one time or another. Its those graded papers fault. Those terrible red marks.. yikes. As if the red marks are not bad enough we then had to share this news with our parents… And there is where you were given the final dispensation for the crime commented.

Our value system is based on these milestones of life. But when I look to the Bible for help. I see where failure turned in the hope. Because you see its not the failure that truly defines who we are. It is how well we run the race!!

And then I had this question, did we fail Jesus at the cross? I do believe many viewed Him that day and said. We stopped His Mission He failed. But the beauty of His love is, it never fails. Because that day what some viewed as a failure turned out to be the greatest LOVE story ever told.

So today do we ask ourselves can we love Him enough to show the world He did not fail? And that His Mission of LOVING us so much was indeed a success. It was a success not because of us, but because He was willing to do whatever it would take to complete the mission. A mission set before Him by our Heavenly Father.

It was such a monumental sacrificial gift. One that we can never repay. It did leave me with this thought. I feel, at the end of every day when we talk to HIM, we should ask, did we run a good race? and did we love you enough?

You will find that in dealing with Him there is no failure… He will pick you up, He will dust you off, tie your shoes, and say. Let’s try that again tomorrow my child. This time take me with you. He will never leave you. Your success in life depends on Him. He will always be there cheering you on. He will greet you with a high five and a smile as you cross the finish line.

It’s Him It’s always Him.

Be strong and courageous, don't be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, it is He who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6.

"Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." Corinthians 13:8, NIV:

Breath

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear his voice, Hebrew 3:7

In the King James version. the word - breath - appears 42 times. the word, breathe appears 4 times. The word breathed appears 4 times

Breath is used in the Bible as a powerful symbol of the life-giving presence of God. Like God Himself, the air we breathe is invisible, odorless, and tasteless—it cannot be perceived at all unless it moves. It is usually peaceful and still, but it is a reservoir of enormous power.

(answersingenesis.org)

As we breathe our first breath at birth, we are given the gift of life from our creator... So innocent, fresh, and sweet. This miracle of how we rhythmically breathe without much thought is amazing.

However, when we stop and think about the power of God’s breath, and how He breathes the Holy Spirit’s sweet existence into our soul. It truly is mind-blowing.

The Bible does teach us that He breathes the Holy Spirit into the very essence of who we are, I think He does this to communicate with us on a spiritual level. The Holy Spirit is sent to guide us, to comfort us, and to bring us unexplainable joy.

One of His many functions is to teach us more about The Father, The Son, life and love, and how we should conduct our lives here on earth. He also reveals more about Himself as He communes with us daily. What an amazing gift!! God has trusted us enough to give us a special part of Himself, and we call that gift the Holy Spirit.

God’s breath can come as a gentle whisper or it can come as a rushing mighty wind...He possesses a gentleness that is beyond compare. But He also possesses a relentless power that can move heaven and earth, to chase the ones he LOVES.

I stand in awe in His presence! And say, yes you can fall in love with the Holy Spirit ...He is a beautiful gift from our Heavenly Father’s own breath.  I believe this gift comes from the deepest chamber of the Father's heart!!

So, I feel when our Father entrust us with this gift. We must do everything in our power to cherish the gift that He gently has placed in our soul. This gift will remain ingrained in our hearts until He calls us home. Where and when we can feel the sweetness of His breath again.

Its Him, Its's always Him.

“As long as I have life within me, the breath of God in my nostrils,” Job 27:3 NIV

“And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. “John 20:22 NIV

“So, in the end, we will all die. People will bury our dead bodies under the ground. Our spirits will return to God.”

Ecclesiastes 12:7 EASY

“In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Job 12:10 NIV.

Motivation - Make it Happen !

"Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.”

Ezra 10:4

There are approximately 100 Bible Verses about Motivation.

The meaning of motivation: the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.

What motivates us? Some have a drive from within. Some need gentle prodding. and there are those that need a good old push.

Is it the subject matter that gives us the desire? Is it a passion that lives within our souls?  Or is it something we chase that defines our focus?

I can only speak for myself and from my heart. I feel I have always had motivation from within. Like many, I have had to reinvent myself a few times in my lifetime.  There are many emotions that go along with reinventing oneself. It can bring excitement for the unknown. It can bring out insecurities. It can bring out a strength you never knew you held deep within! Self-growth can be a beautiful thing.

The beauty of motivation can give you a sense of purpose ... However, motivation without the correct passion and focus can leave you empty,  unsatisfied, and always searching to fill a void.

I can further share that not too long ago I had the motivation, but things were not going as planned. (as sometimes things do) It left me feeling stagnant and my motivation began to dim. But then from a very unexpected place I had a significant spiritual encounter. And on that summer day in May, I found a purpose or better stated He found me. This event turned into quite a journey, and it has given me focus and filled me with wonder and a new zest for love and life.

I found that when you throw caution to the wind and just jump it can result in the most exhilarating most amazing time of your life.

This new, focus, and passion can breathe life into your purpose and the ripple effect will be seen and felt by others.

This catalyst has been around since the beginning of time. It is available for every man, woman, and child. You just need to open your heart and let Him in. He will guide you on a journey of love and discovery far better than you could ever imagine.

It's Him, It's always Him.  😍

Now that you know what motivates me. I ask do you have the passion and desire to chase Him or do you need gentle prodding. Or just a good old push?

Your life will never be the same. It will be richer than you could ever accomplish in your lifetime. So, I say throw caution to the wind and jump...

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19.26.

Beginning

Every second of every day is the opportunity for a new beautiful beginning.
Embrace it, Love it! Own it! (LG)

The word "beginning" occurs 107 times in the King James Version of the Bible.

Meaning of beginning a point in time or space at which something starts:

Sometimes the scariest thing is the beginning. The uncertainties. The expectations, The unknown?? It can bring a rush of emotions excitement, joy, fear, and anxiety just to name a few??

Somehow, we all have faced the beginning of something new ... New locations, new friends, new job, new school, newfound loves, new passions, and the list goes on. There are times when we feel we are in control and then there are the times we are on a journey that seems to have a life of its own. Are we on autopilot ? or is there a Godly presence that has our destiny in His control?

As I pondered this and looked at scriptures for answers?  I found a scripture that states “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Hmm crazy as this sounds, I love thinking about this verse as we think of life... Knowing God was there at the beginning of life, and He has held us in his loving hands and loved us through this amazing journey. He makes me smile.

This verse also gives us comfort knowing He will be there at the end of this life as we know it... But wait!! He has also promised us life for eternity in exchange for loving Him above all else.

So, let’s put the two together and see this as an amazing LOVE Story! His love for us started at the beginning of life and He has loved us through our entire journey. He has loved us through all of life's trials. The happy..the sad..the wins.. the losses..and all the victories small and large.  The beauty of His promise of love is it will continue until we take our last breath.

But if we believe Him and His word it’s not the end, it is a beautiful new beginning with God for eternity... He chose each of us before the world began ...It's what we do with this gift of life that will determine how and with whom we will spend eternity.  What type of impact and memories we leave and intrust with others on this earth will determine our soul's future residence.

I would pray that when that time comes we can raise our hands and say I am present God count me in! I am ready for the beginning of this new adventure. Let's do it!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."John 3:16

“When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27 NIV

Circumcision

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psalms 51:10

Circumcision is mentioned nearly 100 times in the Bible. It is a central focus for the Old Testament and New Testament theology. The meaning of Circumcision: The action or practice of circumcising a young boy or man.

It’s a procedure that has been used for centuries. There are many who see this subject as one that needs special care to execute and or even discuss.

Circumcisions are normally done for medical or religious reasons. And this type of circumcision can be studied by individuals at another time and place.

As my curiosity wanted to know more about this word and why in the early part of my journey. I prayed multiply times and stated that God circumcised my heart?  But why would I use this word to describe this light-hearted feeling? As many of you know I journal my prayers so I can revisit them and know where this incredible walk with God has taken me. So, I will share a peek into my heart where I actually used this curious word.

Teach me how to touch hearts in my world. Help me understand my past hurts. I know they have helped you mold my heart. You have circumcised the layers of my heart. And made me truly FEEL... The rawness is beautifully painful but necessary for growth. I understand this, but it does not diminish the pain that I have felt. But on the flip side, I have also felt your great LOVE. It’s like no other.

You are an amazing teacher of LOVE and LIFE. I am grateful for you!!!”

A circumcised heart is an amazing cleansing and freedom of the heart!  Many of you have witnessed these changes in me over the years. Now you know what you were witnessing was an outward view of God's beautiful work from within... I won't lie, It has had some low, sad times, but it has had some of the most amazing high times of my life.  I am a work in progress, and I feel He is not finished with me yet. Every day is quite a spiritual adventure.

To further help me understand the meaning of a circumcised heart.  I will share the scripture I found in the Bible.

“Also, because you are united with Christ, you truly belong to God's people. No person has circumcised you to show this. It is like Christ himself has circumcised you, to show that you belong to God. It is like he has cut off your old nature which made you do bad things.” Colossians 2:11 EASY

Are you surprised that this is in the Bible? I am not. It’s been an amazing eye and heart-opening experience.

It’s His Fault!!! And I love Him for it!

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26 KJV

“Not everyone who seems to be a Jew is really a Jew who belongs to God. God does not accept a man just because someone has circumcised that man's body. No! A true Jew is someone who belongs to God in his spirit. He belongs to God because God's Spirit has changed his life. It is like God has circumcised him in his spirit, not in his body. The rules in God's Law cannot do that work in a person. Other people may not praise a person like that, but God will praise him.”

Fruit (A Gift from God)

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2

Fruit is listed in the KJV of the Bible 208 times. It is in 184 verses.

The meaning of Fruit as a countable noun: The fruits or the fruit of someone's work or activity are the good things that result from it.

In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is a gift from God that brings us the fruits of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Each is amazing attributes to hone ... To be honest I feel if you are on receiving end of someone that shares them with you. You are truly blessed.

However, getting these “Fruits” happens to be just the beginning. It’s how we cultivate and use them that matters most. In our fast-paced lives, we have a tendency to overlook the opportunities, and may not even apply them to their fullest potential.

Just imagine a world that could embrace these “Fruits” and shower the goodness on others. I see them as building blocks to heaven (on earth). I challenge you to take another look at the list and let’s pray together that we can and will pursue God’s Gift of the Holy Spirit. He is the deliverer of these amazing attributes the Bible refers to as “Fruits”. I pray that we can own and share each of them every day and in every way. They bless the giver as well and the receiver.

I also questioned why they are called “Fruit”. so, I researched this word further, all I could see were a multitude of images of apples, bananas, oranges, etc. lol

But as I did a little further investigation.  I came away with these thoughts ...As we are taught in John 15:5” Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches”. The “Fruit” is the sweetest result when the two work in unison. The Fruit also bears the seeds to continue life. Speak LOVE, Share Life. Let’s let the Holy Spirit be our guide to be the best we can be.

Grab every moment, live it to its fullest, find that sweetness of life.
It is never too late!!

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5 KJV

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.”  Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
