“You will love the ocean. It makes you feel small, but not in a bad way.
Small because you realize you’re part of something bigger.” – Lauren Myracle
..The usual definition of meekness in the Bible is "strength under control. Meekness definition, humbly patient, strong.
Meekness is such a miss understood trait ... I think as a whole we tend to think of meekness as weakness? The "world" defines strong people As those who are assertive, take charge of confident and forceful personalities.
However, true meekness shows an inward strength with outwardly humble confidence. For me, the biggest display of meekness displayed was on the pivot day when Jesus was executed on the cross. His inner strength, humility, compassion, and love in my opinion have been the biggest meekness statement the world will ever witness.
Meekness is a trait we should all aspire to learn and display. I say do not flex your muscles, flex your heart, and let your inner strength show!! I hope and pray I can develop meekness as a trait that shines through in my daily interaction with others. Because it is self-control and strength that can only come from God. It is truly a supernatural gift given to us by the Holy Spirit.
Its Him, Its always Him.
“A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger.”Proverbs 15:1 AMP
Moses was the meekest man. He just wanted to be so close to Him. God spoke to Him face to face as a man speaks to a friend. Ex 33:11
