And so, we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16 NIV

Who does this? Falling in love with God, how does this happen… Sure, many of us love Him in many ways…And many know they Love God and cling to the scripture that God loved us before we ever loved Him. “We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19, ESV)
Sure, you love Him, but are you IN LOVE with Him? Are we head over heels in love with Him? Do you put Him above all else? Is this type of love even possible with God? When we fall in love at this level, He consumes our thoughts. He fills us with an unexplainable joy... We can even become much like a giddy child. Many in this world who do not know this type of LOVE may see this as strange. It's because they have not felt Him deep in their soul and lack understanding.
His Love cannot be compared to anything in this world… This love is a spiritual love that defies our human understanding. He and His love are so hard to contain that you want to share Him with anyone who will listen. It truly is an overflow from Heaven that can tap into all of your emotions. … It's His amazing gift. And yes, I can share that He is a romantic soul … Who do you think invented this type of LOVE? It’s Him… It’s always been Him.
Early in my journey as many of you know I was not looking for Him. And I had no religious background. But He reached down and touched my soul and sent me on the incredible journey of discovery.
During my discovery, it happened… I fell in LOVE with Him!! I did not understand how I fell in love with Him, But I fell in Love with Him ! all of Him: the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. This experience has left me forever changed.
I can share that when this happened, I was spending a lot of time discovering Him. I had a hunger in my soul to know Him deeper. I will admit my time was not spent reading scriptures. Because truly, I found them confusing. (Although reading the Bible works for many) My time was spent with Him, engaged in conversation and meditation, and sharing Him with others. This was not my normal character, and I found myself way out of comfort zone. But this drive to know Him could not be contained.... it even surprised me.
Eventually, I did pick up the Bible. But I see this amazing book as our guide to life. It gives us a peek into the history and facts that transpired many years ago. You will find nuggets of wisdom, how to relate to others, and how to Love Him hidden within its pages. He has taught and is still teaching His children many things.
During this adventure, I have discovered the key to falling in love with Him…He must become alive in our hearts. We must feel Him in our souls. You must commune with Him as you would with the most important figure in your life.
This is a quote that spoke to my soul many months ago. I hope it speaks to you.
“To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement.”
Find Him, and Fall in LOVE with Him... all of Him because.
It's Him; it’s always been Him. He is knocking at your heart’s door. It's up to you to let Him in…
Falling in LOVE with Him is the most incredible adventure we could ever embark on… Don’t wait to start your adventure of discovering Him today. Your life will never be the same.
1 Corinthians 13 Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when a blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its importance. 5 Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect nor selfishly seek its honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense.6 Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong.7 Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
Perfect Love
8 Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. 9 Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, 10 but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.11 When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.
