Remember Him

“Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.” — Paulo Coelho

What does it mean… to remember?

To remember is to bring to mind something we have known, experienced, or encountered.
But how can we truly remember someone… if we have never taken the time to know them?
We can study facts.
We can learn history.

But without relationship, what we remember becomes cold… distant… almost sterile.
But when love is involved remembering becomes something entirely different.
It carries emotion. It stirs the soul. It brings tears… and meaning.

We are entering a time to remember.
A moment in history that crushed hearts…
A moment when a Heavenly Man was unjustly slain,
for the “crime” of loving His children beyond human understanding.
Why did so many turn away?

Why did no one stop it?
When we celebrate Easter,
do we pause long enough to truly feel it?
Do we reflect on His suffering?
The humiliation… the pain… the depth of what He endured?
Or do we rush past the cross…
straight to the victory?

Do we feel even for a moment
the weight of what it cost?
Or have we grown so accustomed to stories of death and return
that we no longer recognize the magnitude of this one?

Because this was not a story.
This was love… poured out.
His victory over death is a miracle
a gift from our Heavenly Father.

May we remember Him not just in thought,
but in heart. May we humble ourselves before Him…
and honor the love that was poured out for us.
Because what He gives,
life, grace, forgiveness, eternity….

Remember Him.

It’s Him… it’s always Him.
He WOWs me.
I pray He WOWs you too.

“This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.”
— Mark 14:22–24

And now… today…

Do we understand the depth of His love?

But the story does not end there…

It is only the beginning.

…He lives, is beyond anything we could ever deserve.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
