Meaning of sad feeling or showing sorrow; unhappy.
There are approximately 24 verses about the word sad in the Bible.
Sad is an emotion we all have felt at some time in our lifetime. Life can be a challenge. Yes, that statement we have all heard is true. “No one said life would be easy.” We all will have life trials, life hurdles, and changes in people, places, and things that can cause us to pause. It can cause us heartbreak and sadness.
Many we will not be able to control, nor will we even be able to help the outcome. No matter how hard we try. Because we can not control the hearts of others. But on the flip side of sadness, we can feel great love and great joy if we just listen to our Heavenly Father's words and live with them in our hearts.
Why, Why do we have sadness? Why do things happen to good people? Why is our world so full of hate and discord? I do believe we will never have all the answers. I have heard many say they are making a list of questions they are planning on asking God when they see Him !!
I think we can help make a difference in our world by how we live and how we love. We need to give those we love and encounter a soft shoulder to lean on. He has given us the tools… Do we try to find them? Do we execute the very words He has spoken?
I do believe in the saddest times of our lives is when we grow the most. It's when we search for answers. It’s when we hit our knees. It when we learn how to communicate with our first LOVE. It’s when we find a strength that we never knew existed. It’s when we run to our Heavenly Father for comfort.
Why? Why do we wait until our lives are troubled or when we want something from Him to find Him? Don’t you think that probably breaks His heart? That should make us all very sad.
I can say I do not feel that I will stand in front of my Heavenly Father with a host of questions. I will be grateful that I am in His presence. I will be at a loss for words. I will be in awe of His Majesty. His beautiful light will engulf my heart, and fill my soul with His amazing LOVE.
I do know in my heart that there will be no sadness, no challenges, no hurdles to climb. There will be Joy and happiness and a peace and a love that will not be able to be contained.
So, if you have sadness if you have any questions to ask Him? Hit your knees and ask Him now because He listening. The question becomes are you tuned into His whispers? Never stop pursuing Him. His word says to pray without ceasing. He will never turn you away. He holds all the answers to all of our questions. We may not understand or even like the answers… But we are all a part of His master plan. So I can only suggest that you get close. really close… close enough to feel his breath… There you will feel Him and He will reveal things as we need to know them.
Find that feeling of Home that exists in your heart when you are with Him. Feel a LOVE greater than you will be able to even understand. It’s the key that can make all sadness dissipate like a vapor. He is the answer.
It's Him, It's always Him.
I am the pursuing child.. that never gives up. I can only keep asking Him “are we there yet?” I will continue to be a work in progress.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. John 17:15
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10
