Breath

     Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear his voice, Hebrew 3:7             

 

In the King James version. the word - breath - appears 42 times. the word, breathe appears 4 times. The word breathed appears 4 times

 

Breath is used in the Bible as a powerful symbol of the life-giving presence of God. Like God Himself, the air we breathe is invisible, odorless, and tasteless—it cannot be perceived at all unless it moves. It is usually peaceful and still, but it is a reservoir of enormous power.

As we breathe our first breath at birth, we are given the gift of life from our creator... So innocent, fresh, and sweet. This miracle of how we rhythmically breathe without much thought is amazing. 


However, when we stop and think about the power of God’s breath, and how He breathes the Holy Spirit’s sweet existence into our soul. It truly is mind-blowing.


The Bible does teach us that He breathes the Holy Spirit into the very essence of who we are, I think He does this to communicate with us on a spiritual level. The Holy Spirit is sent to guide us, to comfort us, and to bring us unexplainable joy. 


One of His many functions is to teach us more about The Father, The Son, life and love, and how we should conduct our lives here on earth. He also reveals more about Himself as He communes with us daily. What an amazing gift!! God has trusted us enough to give us a special part of Himself, and we call that gift the Holy Spirit.  


God’s breath can come as a gentle whisper or it can come as a rushing mighty wind...He possesses a gentleness that is beyond compare. But He also possesses a relentless power that can move heaven and earth, to chase the ones he LOVES. 


I stand in awe in His presence! And say, yes you can fall in love with the Holy Spirit ...He is a beautiful gift from our Heavenly Father’s own breath.  I believe this gift comes from the deepest chamber of the Father's heart!! 


So, I feel when our Father entrust us with this gift. We must do everything in our power to cherish the gift that He gently has placed in our soul. This gift will remain ingrained in our hearts until He calls us home. Where and when we can feel the sweetness of His breath again.


Its Him, Its's always Him.

Choice




"Fashion is a kind of communication. It's a language without words. A great hat speaks for itself."

In the Bible, there are more than 200 references to the word “choose” or one of its variations.

 

The meaning of choice: an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities:

 

I wrestled with this word for days not being able to make a choice in what direction I would want my heart to go. 

 

And then while driving on the most beautifully amazing spot in Triune TN,  my heartfelt peace and guidance began to unfold. And here is where He led my heart ... 

 

In life, we all face so many choices every second of every day.  When I look around the choices that seem to be on everyone’s mind are as follows.


Pick one or the other: 

Right or Left 

Social or Distant 

Believers non-Believers 

Democrat or Republican

School or Home School 

Mask no Mask  

Fake News or Truth 

Peace or War

Unity or Divided 

Forgiving or Chastising 

Kindness or Cruelty

Compassion or Callous 

LOVE or Hate

 

And the list could go on for miles.

So, the question becomes how do we come to a decision that can give us the outcome that will give us that peace in knowing it was the best choice we could make?? 

  

It has been my experience if we use God and His word as a filter... and sift the choices and all its components through Him. Something beautiful happens... As in any filtering system, it gets rid of the sludge, the waste, and the impurities. and you are left with a product of purity, clarity, and refinement ... Your soul will feel an amazing peace and His Love will shine through your smile and your actions.

 

Doing the right thing isn’t always easy.  Because we are all are a work in progress. However, the good news is that we are loved beyond our own understanding. 

 

So, I say the only choice that truly matters is: 

 

To Filter or Not to Filter the choice is yours. 

 

I choose...

Conflict


Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9


Meaning of conflict, a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one.

There are 18 instances where conflict appears in the Bible.

When our soul is in conflict It robs us of our peace.  It robs us of joy. It robs us of living life. There are times in this life things come at us faster pace than we can handle.  There are times we are faced with heartbreak due to conflict. There are times these moments may be our fault and there are times it is at the hand of another… 

It’s when we do not take a moment to understand behaviors or reactions. As our human frailties unfold, we have a tendency to react due to scars that we have accumulated along the way. It is difficult to put these emotions aside and truly see the value and the history of the person. 

What has caused this reaction that caused the conflict? Are these conflicts self-inflicted? Sometimes the damage is a difficult road to travel. It can scar the heart and the heart of another. 

Are solutions in our control?? 
I have found sometimes the conflict is within us. 

I do believe we are responsible for how we react. How willing we are to understand. How willing we are to open our hearts. 

I do know solutions cannot be one way… 
A conflict takes at least two. Solutions also take at least two … If you stand alone…. the conflict fire may dim with time… but the wound will never fully heal… 

I do know my God is not a God of conflict. He is a God of LOVE because he knows just how important LOVE is… It is the biggest healer of any human situation. 

It has been proven time and time again gentle love will heal and bring back life to even the lifeless… Eventually, the trust will be rebuilt. But we must free our hearts to love past the conflict. Because if we cannot, this issue will damage us from within…. This conflict will have a ripple effect that can hurt everything in its path. Life is too short for conflict, it erodes the quality of life and damages relationships that perhaps you once valued.

I am disheartened to see the conflict in our world. it has become ramped in our streets.… Fires burning, People taking sides… People ripping through the veil of humanity. 

Only LOVE and understand can bring unity…. Jesus can heal our relationships and our world. He is watching He is the only answer. But we cannot sit idly and wait… action on our part is required. 

Reach out touch one heart today, cross the line that has been drawn in the sand, open the door to your heart. Let Jesus guide us to a world of Peace and Love. I don’t know about you, but in my fleeting time on earth, I want to see a beautiful united world. I do believe with Jesus. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

TRiUnE LOVE (Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit)

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My [Jesus’] name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:26 

I had the word for today all ready to post. The word that was scheduled for today was conflict. However, my heart advised me, to hold conflict until tomorrow? Because there is already too much conflict in our world. There are too many hearts that need to find LOVE. A love that can mend their heart and speak peace to their soul. 

My mood changed from one of discord to one of light airy and a feeling of warmth and amazement. LOVE can breathe life into a once dormant and sad soul. How and why can love change so many things??

                                              

And then my mind drifted to a LOVE that I cannot explain?  I do say, it is the most amazing LOVE one could ever feel. It’s one that comes any day anywhere anytime. I am writing this at 2am because this LOVE whispered into my ear and I felt the need to share. And yes, anytime is the right time to share this LOVE. Even at 2am. 

So, when I was given the task of describing this LOVE? I realized it is not a LOVE that can easily be described.  It is such a feel thing. Is this love just fleeting emotion? I say not because this love has been around since the beginning of time. This LOVE contains such beauty, patience, and grace … It can right any wrong.  It can rush into your soul like a mighty wind. It can bring tears of joy. It can heal bodily wounds. It can change your mood in a fraction of a second. It can open your heart for others to see the essence of who you truly are.  It can open your eyes to see the miracles that surround you each waking moment. It will open your vulnerable soul, to experience and appreciate the beauty life. This LOVE goes by many names. He is special to every heart. He wants nothing but to love you and to be loved in return. He even will change His name. He will meet you where ever you are. He will not judge you. He will love you unconditionally if you let Him. 

I don’t know about you but I will commit today to lay down any conflict and discord in my heart and chase this LOVE with all that I am.

This LOVE has a name, I call them LOVEs ( Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit) If you have not felt this amazing LOVE you can! You just need to invite Him in. Because He will never invade your space. He will, however, share that special space in your heart. 

It's that amazing space that has been there all along. You may search your entire life and try to fill that void you feel in your heart. But eventually, you will realize He is the only one that has the ability to make your heart whole. You see He was there before you were born and He kept that special piece of your heart to remember you .. and He will hold it until the day you return to Him. 

Its Him, It's always Him.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. I John 4:16

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.1 John 4:7


Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37.

Perception - can set your mood for the entire day.


What do you see in this photo ??? Perception can be tricky (answer at the bottom of this page)

The word perception can be found 8 times in the Bible. 

Meaning of perception: The ability to see beneath the outward form to the underlying, often hidden, reality. It is a necessary gift in dealing with people, understanding spiritual teaching, and interpreting events. Perception is important for effective service, though it is often lacking, even among God’s people.

Perception is such a personal word. It’s our view of people, places, and things. Based on our ability to see, hear, smell, taste, feel, and witness.  

“Perception” does it define who we are? Or are we just a perception of how people see us? Or does it go deeper?  

Our persona holds many facets of who we are. Do we hide behind a mask? Are we seeing the best in others.? Or do we see a perception that they have built to hold life’s scars and victories? 

Is our perception of others true to their core? Does it shine from their soul? I say we will never truly know if our perceptions are on target. Our perceptions can sometimes be so misguided! 

There are times when we let our guard down and let someone in because of our perception. We learn to trust we learn to love.. and suddenly their true colors bleed through and our perception is changed and our heart carries the scar. 

And then on the flip side, there are the times we do not see the treasure in the one that may be standing right beside you due to our own misguided thoughts and perceptions.     

But in life, we must take the risk to love and be loved. It truly is the essence of life. Without love life would be void. The beauty of this amazing gift would be stripped clean.. and sadness would fill the air. 

I have found unless we study, spend time, and learn everything about the person... We will never truly know if our perception is indeed on target.  

The mystery becomes how people’s perception of one person or group of people can be so diverse?  When in fact the person or people are always the same... I found it’s due to each individual view based on their own personal life’s journey. I feel perceptions are emotional in nature and can set the tone for your entire day. 

During this word study, I found myself asking what is my perception of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Such a vast subject 😀. But I am studying, learning, and spending the time to build a relationship that shines from His soul to my heart.  My perception lies in the three as one ... and the LOVE I have felt in my heart and the peace they have placed in my soul... 

The one common thread I have discovered is that all things always points to Jesus and His amazing unconditional LOVE

I seem to always walk away just saying WOW! 

I pray and challenge you to dig deep and ask yourself if your perceptions are on target 🎯? Hmm?

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Act 17:11 “These were nobler than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

Luke 5:22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?

Motivation - Make it Happen !



   "Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.”

Ezra 10:4 


There are approximately 100 Bible Verses about Motivation. 

The meaning of motivation: the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.

What motivates us? Some have a drive from within. Some need gentle prodding. and there are those that need a good old push.  

Is it the subject matter that gives us the desire? Is it a passion that lives within our souls?  Or is it something we chase that defines our focus? 

I can only speak for myself and from my heart. I feel I have always had motivation from within. Like many, I have had to reinvent myself a few times in my lifetime.  There are many emotions that go along with reinventing oneself. It can bring excitement for the unknown. It can bring out insecurities. It can bring out a strength you never knew you held deep within! Self-growth can be a beautiful thing.  

The beauty of motivation can give you a sense of purpose ... However, motivation without the correct passion and focus can leave you empty,  unsatisfied, and always searching to fill a void. 

I can further share that not too long ago I had the motivation, but things were not going as planned. (as sometimes things do) It left me feeling stagnant and my motivation began to dim. But then from a very unexpected place I had a significant spiritual encounter. And on that summer day in May, I found a purpose or better stated He found me. This event turned into quite a journey, and it has given me focus and filled me with wonder and a new zest for love and life. 

I found that when you throw caution to the wind and just jump it can result in the most exhilarating most amazing time of your life.  

This new, focus, and passion can breathe life into your purpose and the ripple effect will be seen and felt by others. 

This catalyst has been around since the beginning of time. It is available for every man, woman, and child. You just need to open your heart and let Him in. He will guide you on a journey of love and discovery far better than you could ever imagine.

It's Him, It's always Him.  😍

Now that you know what motivates me. I ask do you have the passion and desire to chase Him or do you need gentle prodding. Or just a good old push? 

Your life will never be the same. It will be richer than you could ever accomplish in your lifetime. So, I say throw caution to the wind and jump... 

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19.26.

Thought



If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 
Romans 12:18

The meaning of thought: an idea or opinion produced by thinking or occurring suddenly in the mind.

There are 85 Bible verses about thought. 

Our thoughts are a powerful gift. They help us rationalize and come up with conclusions to our questions that affect our mood daily. 

However, it is said, that what we think is what we are???  That could be wonderful for some… and a sheer nightmare for others.

Are our thoughts positive? Or do we fill our minds with the negatives? Are our thoughts loving and kind?? Or do we go to a darker place??  

I do believe we cannot control where our mind wanders. But we can control if we choose to keep it where it goes. I can confirm that our thoughts can be redirected.

For example, there is such a glut of negativity in our world. It makes my soul sad. I like many pray for change. I pray for peace. I pray for a world where our children can live without fear. 

When I see the turmoil in our world my thoughts drift to a sad place and I feel a negative pull on my soul … But before these stories I see on all media channels grip my soul and corrupt my thoughts. 

I have made a commitment to myself to find my peaceful place… and meditate with God and His word…  When I do this, a beautiful transformation happens. It does not dismiss, the world problems. But I find my thoughts drift to Jesus and His LOVE. He gives me peace in my heart. My thoughts are filled with His beauty, He fills my soul with hope… He redirects me to a happier existence no matter the circumstances. 

We all wrestle with our thoughts. Some are provoked on their own. Some we consciously bring forward. But we do control what we choose to let in and what we remove… If removal is necessary. I say, go to your peaceful place. Meditate on the positive. Talk to Jesus let Him help you redirect your thoughts to a happier place… 

After all, our thoughts are who we are… Are you negative or positive?? Beware both show on your face and can affect your health and your quality of life! Negative or Positive thoughts? 

I say choose… a happier place

With Him, Its always HIM!

Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Disposable

Meaning of disposable intended to be used once, or until no longer useful, and then thrown away.

The word disposable does not appear in the Bible.  But it does appear in God’s word. When any life is taken for any reason it is considered disposable by someone. 

To God all His creations have value none are disposable. He will go to the ends of the earth to save just one. It must crush His soul when a life or a person is seen by human eyes as disposable.

When we as a society have grown up in a disposable world, I think the act of disposing bleeds into other areas of life. It truly hinges on our value system.  Disposable does not always result in death, but it can wound your heart and make your soul bleed. 

When we shun someone for their beliefs, their looks, their differences in essence we are treating them as disposable. I am sure if we look at our own life there will be a time or two when someone made you feel disposable… Or not worthy. This is something I truly do not understand. Why does this happen? How can we be so cruel? 

When I turn the pages of the Bible to try to understand the harshness of this world, it brought me to a time when our precious Jesus was treated like He was disposable, and He was nailed to a cross. It was there many treated Him as worthless. Indeed this horrific event must have crushed God’s soul and literally it must have broken His heart. Our world demonstrated cruelty beyond comprehension. 

I must confess I have felt this disposable feeling, and I can say it does wound the heart and bruise the soul. However, when we look to Jesus for answers, that is when disposable becomes a word that can leave deep scars. But our Savior's story shows us that yes there is an end, but there is also a new beginning. There is hope for a brighter tomorrow. 

You see, when you dispose of someone or something there is always someone that will pick up the pieces and see the beauty. They will love and cherish what they see. They will see the value and marvel at hidden treasure standing before them. 

And then, one day the ones who thought you were disposable, will see the treasure and regret the action taken. They will realize they missed an opportunity to love and to be loved. Love is an amazing gift from our Heavenly Father, and it should never be considered disposable.

It’s Him, It's always HIM. 

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

 

Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be, Matthew 6:21

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
