Count

May my prayer be counted as incense before You;
The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.
 Psalms 141:2

The meaning of count determines the total number of (a collection of items)."I started to count the stars I could see". To take into account; include

The word count in the Bible appears 105 times

In a world of counting, it seems that we count many things. We even put a value on these objects. How many likes did you get today on that social media post? What can we do to get these numbers up? Do we try to show value? Or is it just a numbers game??

These days we seem to be counting days in quarantine. Days in the hospital. How many people are infected with a virus? How many days till the election? We are so distracted with numbers?? Are we missing the picture of what is important? When we look for hope in our troubled world where do we turn?

Do we pray in hope of answers? Do we pray in hope of peace? Do we pray in hope of love?  Do you know God knows you so well he has counted the hairs on your head?? He knows every tear that has fallen from your eyes. He has counted every breath we will take… Who else knows us that intimately??

I will ask you, how well do you know God? If I flipped this picture and ask you what have you counted for God? Have we put our value on what is important? How do we get these numbers up?? Can we do more?  Can I know Him that intimately?

I say yes, but you have to invest your time, your love, and ALL of you. You fully have to commit your heart.

Now indulge me for a moment. I feel there will be a day when we stand in a crowd before our Creator.  Close your eyes. Visualize the crowd in your mind's eye. Picture where you are standing? Are you in the front? Do you have a good seat? Or are you even there?

Have you raised your hand and boldly prayed and said, I am here, count me in! Or do you remain seated in the back of the room in silence? Or do you think? I have time I will do this later, I am busy.

I say the time is now! Be bold. Raise your hand and tell our Creator I am here count me in!

I don’t know about you. But, I want to know Him so intimately. That when that moment comes.  I can see His smile as he says get over here and give me a hug. Welcome home, I have missed you.

It's Him, It's always Him

God even knows the number of hairs on your head [Note: The average full head of hair has approximately 25,000 hairs].

Doth not he sees my ways, and count all my steps? Job 31-4

Who has the wisdom to be able to count the clouds, or to empty the water jars of heaven, Job 31-37

He bringeth him out without, and saith, 'Look attentively, I pray thee, towards the heavens, and count the stars, if thou art able to count them;' and He saith to him, 'Thus is thy seed. Gen 15:5

Relationship

We are a kaleidoscope of complicated intricacies.

A million different facets of light and darkness.

                                                  Judith Lennox

The meaning of relationship is the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected or the state of being connected. the state of being connected by blood or marriage.

The word relationship is mentioned 467 times in the bible

Such an easy word on a complex subject. From the time we are born we are in some type of relationship. I feel we are actually in a relationship with God before we are even born. So, what is that draw we have in our souls to be in a relationship of some type? We have husbands, wives, sons, daughters, friends, family. What makes each one unique and special?

I feel our lives are much like a kaleidoscope. So many fragments of colors each are uniquely beautiful on their own. But when we look through the lens and see the amazing colors that are made when they come together. It can be amazing!! And then as we turn the wand. The true beauty of life can be seen.

Many of these glass fragments of color come to us through our bloodline and they seem to magically fit into the colors of your heart. While others we find on our travels take up residence in our hearts through love. But each of these can be touched, can be seen, and can be heard…

So how can we find that bloodline? That missing piece that has been reserved for God alone.  How do we find Him?  How do we build a relationship with someone we cannot see? We cannot hear or cannot touch???

If I ask you these questions how would you answer?  If I say His name would you know Him? If I ask you have you listened to His voice?? Have you touched Him?

These questions are part of the process of building any relationship.

  1. How much do you know about Him? If I give you a book and say everything you need to know about Him can be found within these pages.  Yes, you would know many facts. But do you know Him?
  2. Have you heard Him?? We do hear with our spiritual ears. But do you hear Him? You must quiet the mind and spend many hours asking questions and listen for His whispers. You will become familiar with the sounds, and soothing tones of His voice.
  3. Touching is such an amazing gift. A hug a caress draws us close and you feel an intimacy or closeness. So how does one feel someone that can not hug or caress? This is a soulful experience with our creator… When our soul is hugged and or caressed by our heavenly father. You will feel the warmth and the comfort of coming home… He has held that special part of your kaleidoscope in His hands in hopes that you would return? Only He can gently put that special part back together… There is no one else that can get that close to your soul. There is no one else that carries the bloodline that deep. There is no relationship that compares.

The beauty of a relationship with God is it completes who you are. And when you are truly whole. All other relationships become precious. Each relationship becomes more meaningful. You see each relationship as a gift…

You see we are just fragments of colorful glass. But HE is the wand. Without the wand, we will always remain just fragments of glass. But with the wand, we can come together and become that beautiful kaleidoscope of color.  We call LIFE.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." 21. Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

Sand

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. John 15:9
There are approximately 33 scriptures in the bible referencing sand.
A loose granular substance, typically pale yellowish brown, resulting from the erosion of siliceous and other rocks and forming a major constituent of beaches, riverbeds, the seabed, and deserts.

You the reader must be thinking Sand? Sand? Really? Such a peculiar word to study when we study the Bible? And I would have to agree! So why did this word show up? How did it arrive in my thoughts? I asked a simple question?

A few weeks ago, I had a discussion with a friend about the time Jesus showed us how not to judge but to have great compassion. Even with great peer pressure He stood firm and did what was right in his heart… I will take to the scripture John 8:6 where it is documented that Jesus was tested. And he bent down and with his finger wrote something in the sand. There are several ideas what was written but there really is no proof. This puzzled me and must have stayed in my mind…. Because curious minds want to know.. Hmm

And now there is one more idea… and I take no credit for it. It came to me in a meditation. I did not even have this in my mind at the time. It just happened so I thought I would share.

My meditation moment

The room was dark and cool. With Lights softly burning. I lit the incense. I laid the chair all the way back. Put my headphones on. And listened to a song called Yeshua, and soon I drifted here...

I was on a beach the water was a beautiful aqua color it had large black smooth bolder size rocks outlining the shoreline. The waves were crashing and rolling in as to kiss the shore. You could hear the roar of the ocean. I could see the sun’s rays as they danced across the surface of the water. I could smell the salt in the air.. and feel the warmth upon my skin.

I soon saw a white horse being ridden fast I could see the sand fly almost in a slow-motion action as the horse’s hoofs hit the smooth wet sand.  At first, I was just standing off to one side. But when I looked again, I was on the back holding on to Jesus tightly. But quickly the scene changed and we were sitting on the shore in the soft beach sand ... He seemed to be writing something in the sand ...And I asked Him.  What did you write in the sand so many years ago ... He looked up and smiled and looked down to continue to write.

So I got up and walked behind Him... and to my surprise. He had written I LOVE YOU. And then I began to cry ... in the physical.. the music faded and the meditation ended.

So when I read, the scripture from a time gone by, I know in my heart It was I LOVE YOU that was written in the sand that day… and yes He did it twice.. because some of us are harder to convince than others… How could that not be the answer?

He was not sent to us to judge us. He was sent here to teach us how to LOVE. He was sent to teach us how to treat others. He was sent to teach us how to stand up for what is right. Even if it goes against what others think or do. I do think it is in our Human nature to judge. But we must look at our own hearts. Before we throw that stone… Show compassion, show LOVE, be the change.  Let's learn how to love from the Master.

Its Him, It's always Him.

There are no reasons on earth that can change His LOVE for us.
He WOWs me.

This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. John 8:6

“For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.”
John 3:17 AMPC

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:17-18

Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.  Jesus stood up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"  She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go and from now on sin no more."Jn 8:9-11

Loyal

Meaning of loyal giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution.

There are 65 verses in the Bible about loyalty

Loyalty, is it that do or die feeling? Do we give our hearts away hoping that the one we give our heart to will take precious care of this amazing gift?

I have found that life scars can sometimes test that word loyalty. So how do we travel in our world and be loyal when we have so many unpredictable things happening around us ??  Sometimes perception can cause us to pause and question loyalty.   This word hit home with me when I was tested. And I had to make some difficult decisions.

I have always felt I have been a loyal person and felt I would go to the mat for someone I love.  And I feel strongly that I still would. But please know if I am put through the test of being loyal to someone at the cost of going against what God is requiring of me. I do not want you to consider this a loss … Because if God is asking there is a very good reason for His request. And it may be pointing us to bigger things.

Now know my decision will not come without heartfelt pain of disappointment in your eyes. But know my loyalty to God will always come first. This journey has been a life experience that is beyond anything I have been through. It has placed me in some unfamiliar territory. It has tested me. It has taught me so many things about Elohim, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit.  Together they have taught me about life and love. (I am a work in progress).

As many of my readers know I am a firm believer in the 3N1. He WOW’s me.

His loyalty to us is beyond words. His love for us is unwavering. He holds us so close. He wants us to be better, He wants us to grow into beautiful souls… When we look at loyalty, we need to sometimes look at the bigger picture. All things always point to Him.

It's Him, It's always Him.

We are still alive because the Lord’s faithful love never ends. Every morning he shows it in new ways! You are so very true and loyal! I say to myself, “The Lord is my God, and I trust him.” Lamentations 3:22-24

He who pursues righteousness and loyalty Finds life, righteousness and honor. Proverbs 21:21

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commands. Deuteronomy 7:9

Seer

His beauty can be seen as far as you let your heart roam.. (LG)

Seer a person who is supposed to be able, through supernatural insight, to see what the future holds.

There are 25 Bible verses the reference seers.

Sight is such an amazing gift…  Here is a description outlined by sightsavers.com. The images we see are made up of light reflected from the objects we look at. This light enters the eye through the cornea, which acts as a window at the front of the eye. The amount of light entering the eye is controlled by the pupil, which is surrounded by the iris which is the colored part of the eye.

This is the same concept for my camera. They both leave us with vivid memories to share.

But what is a seer… what is it they see and how does this happen? Are these visions or dreams? Is this a peek into a spiritual world? How can one become a seer? Again let me preface by saying, I am not claiming to be an expert. But I will share from my heart and give you my thoughts.

As I walk through this amazing journey. I have witnessed many things. I have grown in my spiritual beliefs. I have a burning desire to embrace the words of our Creator. He has given us the tools to seek Him, to Find Him, and to truly see Him.

I do believe that some people are blessed with special gifts. Some claim to be seers, some claim to be prophets. Some are seers that claim they can share prophecies? Is what they say true?

I am not here to judge only God knows the seer/prophets’ heart. However, He does require us to think, discover, and analyze what we touch, see, and hear… Today our world has so many claiming that they have a message from God...

When I scroll through all the messages, news reports, and social media post..  it gives me pause. I see the fear in my neighbors’ eyes. I see, discord in our streets. And I see many messages warning, warning, warning, like our hair, is on fire… Now I am not dismissing the last chapter of the Bible. Things will be a challenge. Things will get tough for many…

But what gives me pause??

Where is the beauty that is held within the pages of that last chapter? Why don’t I see the seers and prophets sharing the beauty in our redemption? This is an amazing story that unites us with our very first love…

PS. I am a see-R. I see His beautiful image, as His light is reflected in my mind’s eye. This light enters my heart through my spirit, which acts as a window to my soul. There, I see His message of PEACE. I see His message of HOPE. I see His message of LOVE.

Be a see-R. See the beauty in your heavenly Father's eyes! The last chapter points to …

Him! It has always been Him, and will always be Him!!

Who say to the seers, “You must not see visions”;
And to the prophets, “You must not prophesy to us what is right,
Speak to us pleasant words. Prophesy illusions. Isaiah 30:10

‘I had heard of You (only) by hearing of the ear, but now my (spiritual) eye sees You” Job 42.5 AMPC

Covenant

“You are not what others think you are. You are what God knows you are.”
― Shannon Alder

Covenant is used 300 times in the KJV of the Bible.

Meaning of covenant an agreement.

As my fingers walk through the pages of the Bible my mind strives to send my heart a better understanding of my creator’s words. There are so many words that I think I know what they mean... but do I really?? But when we dig deeper, we can find they take on a new meaning, and indeed they do become alive!!!

Today I landed on the word Covenant... The word ominous came to mind, and that my friends revealed my lack of understanding of this amazing word... A covenant is truly a promise of a lifetime... I use the word promise as a lighter description of a word that goes oh, so much deeper.

It’s an unbreakable contract/promise that God gives each of us. It gives us the security in our hearts that He will be with us always! No matter our life’s situation good or bad. It describes His love, His strength, and His peace. And there is so much more for us to discover!!

This promise lets us know He is always available 365 days a year day or night. He will be our guiding light!! Jesus came to earth to give us proof that this covenant is ours for eternity. Jesus did this by His life, His love, His teachings, and the shedding of His own blood. He gave us ALL of Him as proof!!

Jesus departed earth and went to reside with our Father in heaven. He sent us a constant friend the Holy Spirit to abide in us so they could speak to our hearts...

So, in my quest to understand the word covenant. I found my confidence deepened and my belief in Him grew a more!!
I publicly acknowledge that together They reside in all facets of my life. Now as that unfolded in my mind and heart.

I found myself asking. Hmm, I understand His part of the covenant/contract but what is my part in this relationship? Because it is my understanding that the covenant/contract is between two parties... He has written, His part of this contract for the world to see!!

And if you need to read it for yourself. You can find it in the pages of the Bible. So, then I thought it was only fair that I write my part before He and I can seal this pledge on my heart.

1. Believe in Him and the Triune with all my heart
2. To love Him above all others
3. Love our brothers and sisters as much as we love ourselves.
4. Follow His teachings and laws ...
5. Share Him with anyone who willing to listen!!! (This is the fun part !!)

Signed,
His Child

God has already written His part of your covenant in the Bible. I challenge you to read it.  He is a patient loving God. and He is waiting to finalize your (draft) and execute your covenant with Him!  So, you too can seal it on your heart. You will find that it will enrich your life beyond your wildest dreams.

“Now you must be careful to obey me and my covenant with you. Then you will belong to me as my special people. The whole earth belongs to me, and I have chosen you from among all the nations.”
Exodus 19:5 EASY

Lingering

The meaning of lingering. To stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave.

Linger is in the Bible in 10 instances. But the act of lingering can be seen in other scriptures.

What causes us to linger? I think it’s our emotions. I read an article that sadness seems to be the emotion that lasts the longest. I do understand this as a concept because we have a tendency to dwell on what caused the sadness or pain…

I also think there are levels of lingering… We have a tendency to linger at the dinner table to share stimulating conversation. We tend to sip a good cup of tea to linger and savor the flavor to the last drop…

So, where does the Bible outline the act of lingering? There are times written about in scripture when people lingered to see and hear God and or Jesus.

But the scripture does not address the emotion… Why linger? What do you feel?  There is a soulful feeling of communion. There is peace. There is a love like no other.  There is a feeling of human completeness that is hard to describe.

How do you find this communion? Each of us is traveling on different roads at different rates of speed. Each one of us has to find what works for the individual. There is no set way, He individualizes our experience with Him. That is why we are all unique and loved by Him equally.

I am not an expert and I always tell my readers I am a work in progress. But I am willing to share my heart.  These are tools that work for me.  Prayer, Meditation, Music, and Quieting the Mind (which can be a challenge) LOL.

I do consider the things I outlined above the vehicle…But not the key. The key is opening your heart and inviting Him in…Be steadfast… Do not waiver until you feel His presence. Keep calling Him… And when you feel Him in your soul, tears may flow. And there is where you will know the true meaning of lingering. You will have stimulating conversations and want to savor the moment until the last drop.  It truly is a heavenly experience.

I have lingered on this project long enough… I am getting in my vehicle and going for a test drive .. zoom zoom.

It’s Him, It's always Him.

“Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. “Luke 10:38 NKJV

“And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door. So, the Lord spoke to Moses' face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. “Exodus 33:9-11 NKJV

Temptation

One of the best results of temptation is that it shows us what is in our hearts. A. B. Simpson.

Temptation the desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise.

There are approximately 29 verses referencing temptation.

DON’T READ THIS to the end!!! Does that tempt you to read more or turn away??? Funny how the urge to skip down to the bottom to see why crosses our minds.

It’s that human weakness creeping in …. Now I know we deal with temptation, especially within the last three months… How many of us have been homebound? And we have been tempted to do things we never thought we would do … Sneak in for the late-night snack? or that extra piece of cake?? We have been tempted to judge people for their ideas or opinions. Some temptations are far worse than the ones I speak of above… And many wrestle with darkness far beyond what we see on the surface.

When we look at the Bible men have been tempted through the ages. Jesus Himself was tempted. He was tempted by a force greater than we know? Now you will have to forgive me for not mentioning his name because I refuse to even crack that door…But I am sure you all can guess who this is…   He is still lurking around trying his best to tempt us to fail. I say stand strong!! I say don’t crack the door … DO NOT let him even be a thought or whisper on your lips….

So how do we become strong!!! How do we have this power?? How do we avoid his darkness and this temptation?? It is so hard to avoid, he can be relentless.

I will take you back to your kitchen. When you go to the store do not buy the cake and unhealthy snacks buy only healthy snacks. And when you are tempted, you will reach for things that will build your body and give you strength. You will also avoid the guilty feeling that goes along with your actions. Because eventually, you will have to stand on that scale alone… Most will take off every article of clothing, shoes, and jewelry … But even stripping, it will not make a difference because giving into that temptation will stare you in the face as the numbers finally land and stop on the scale. It also depends on where it stops how much guilt you will carry.

Spirituality works the same way. Fill your life with healthy food for your soul. Call upon Jesus, read, and eat the word… You will see your strength grow. You will find when your soul is healthy the mind and body will follow. And when you are tempted you will have the tools to fight the battle… We are all tempted every day. It’s part of being human. Life is full of choices. It started long ago when man took His eye off the prize.  What you put in your basket, will determine how light your soul will feel when traveling on this road we call life.

Best diet on the planet. YOU WILL LOVE IT !!!

Its Him, Its always HIM

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Corinthians 10:13

For the Lord, your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. Deuteronomy 20:4
