26 degrees… frost on the ground… feeling blessed to be alive... Where Black Friday turns into white CHRISTmas... “My Gift of You” is now live on all platforms — a gentle reminder that no matter how different we are, we are beautiful in His eyes. He is our greatest gift — born from our Father’s love.
Lyrics
The Gift of you
Little did we know what God had planned, When He formed You in Your mother’s womb. The world beheld the miracle fortold— The gift of You, my sweet Jesus.
The gift of You Takes my breath away. The gift of You, my precious Savior, Forever You will stay.
As You grew, did You hear Your Father whispering Your name? Did He sing You a heavenly lullaby? Oh, my beautiful baby boy, my Jesus.
The gift of You, my beautiful boy, You take my breath away. The gift of You, my precious One, Forever You will reign…
The world turned away, when the boy became a man; They hung Him on a tree, made Him bleed….. Yet love overcame, and death lost its claim! My Jesus, my love, my King, my everything-
The gift of You Takes my breath away. The gift of You, my precious Savior, Forever You will reign…. The gift of You, so precious, so rare— Jesus, our majestic king, created from our Father’s love.
"My love for you, Lord, is not an uncertain feeling, but a matter of conscious certainty. With your word, you pierced my heart, and I loved you. But heaven and earth and everything in them on all sides tells me to love you." ~ Saint Augustine.
Meaning of decide - come to a resolution in the mind as a result of consideration:
The word decide is in the Bible approximately 59 times.
Did you know that some sources suggest that the average person makes approx 35,000 choices per day?
Today I have a decision to make, what word should we study today? So many words so little time? Have you ever in your lifetime stood at the crossroad to indecision?? So many decisions to make? how do we even cope???
Are you the one that cast caution to the wind?? Or do you methodically study all the pieces to the puzzle and then make your move? I wonder hmm do we dare see what the Bible has to say??
Well, I decided to start here 1 Samuel 14:7 ”His armor-bearer responded, “Do what is in your heart. You choose. I’m right here with you whatever you decide.”
I have found that our Father gives us the choice to believe in Him.. He gives us the choice to follow His Son, Jesus. And He gives us the choice to embrace the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Hmm, decisions, decisions. Some dance around Him but can not decide to love Him with all their heart and soul. Some only give Him a fragment of their heart but keep a stronghold in it, so they can quickly rip it back if the fire gets a little hot. A few jump in with vigor, and fall in love. They fall so hard that it affects change, it affects the very nature of the person. It opens their soul to a beauty and a love beyond our world. And they embark on an amazing journey of discovery.
And as this beautiful love story unfolds you began to find your way and the beauty within will began to show. A softer more caring heart will be merge. But it's you that has to decide. Personally, the decision to follow Him should be a no-brainer.. But He wants us to willingly come... To willingly follow Him. And to be willing to love Him with of your heart and soul!!
Its Him. It's always Him.
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Psalm 27:14
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.Philippians 4:11
Meaning of need circumstances in which something is necessary, or that require some course of action; necessity:
I do believe I may need help finding out how many times the word need is in the Bible.
Putting that thought aside for now. As I watch people in general we all have needs some more than others... Some are givers and some are takers. Be honest and look deep within and ask yourself which title do you fall under ?? Giver? Taker?
There are so many needs in our world. But many of us are so busy living our lives that we may have a tendency to overlook many of them.
The words “I need” can become a selfish action. I ask you to take a moment and say with me... I need! And now you finish the sentence ...
Where is your heart? Is your need a monetary want? Then it truly is not a need but a WANT.Many of us get caught up in the rat race of ownership of “things” and lose sight of what we should value most.
Many of us pray for our wants instead of our needs... Do you use your time with our Heavenly Father wisely? Do we bring the needs of others before Him?
Have you ever asked Him, what do may need? Many of us think of Him as an unlimited ATM. We pray and stand there waiting with our hands open ready to receive our materialistic wants...
Do we behave like His spoiled children? Or do we humble ourselves before Him and truly ask Him what can I do for you? What do you need of me today? When we began to shift our hearts and minds towards the needs of others our hearts start to open and we began to see the true value of life and our monetary wants become less important. You may find a love bigger than you even realize existed...You may find a joy that has been hidden deep within. You may find the true meaning of life!!!
It’s Him, It’s always Him
It's His amazing LOVE... That spills out upon the hearts that are willing vessels. Have you felt Him stirring in your soul?
I NEED Him now and forever !!
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite. William Shakespeare…
The meaning of Harvest is the process or period of gathering in crops.
The symbolic meaning of harvest in Scripture encompasses two main areas: God's provision for us and God's blessing for others.
There are approximately 70 verses in the Bible that speak of Harvest.
It’s is the time of year that most of us are more interested in Harvest than normal. November is a beautiful time for for pumpkin patches, corn mazes and timeout with our families.. Many of us seem busy preparing for the grateful holiday of Thanksgiving...
But let’s stop for just a moment and ask, what does the good “Book” tells us about this word? Is there a deeper more profound meaning?
Are we His harvest? Did He come to earth with the purpose to gather His Children ? For us to see the bounty in Him??
As I studied this word these thoughts danced through my mind... To grow anything there are needs and a few must have requirements... Food, water, light and Love... And these thoughts are scripturally sound and are written below. He is all the above!! He is our life source. He is our bounty, and we are His Harvest.
He just ask us to use the formula He has given us and GROW ....
Many of us are like the fruit.. some are green, some are rotten and have fallen to the ground... But there are those who live and grow into everything He knows you can be...
I don’t know about you but when the time comes, I want to be ready to say pick me I am ready... He holds all the answers!!! Pick Him!!!
He is our beautiful bounty from heaven above!
It’s Him !!! it’s always Him!!!
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35
And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. Revelation 21:6
There is no changing yesterday... it was a learning experience... Now go and grow where God planted you. The season between summer and winter, characterized by cooling weather and dormant plants, spanning from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and encompassing September, October, and November in the Northern Hemisphere. As fall colors begin to burst forth, our hearts and eyes turn to the breathtaking beauty of change. What creates these eye-popping changes that our hearts have welcomed for centuries? The gentle swaying of the orange tree leaves in the breeze stirred up many thoughts in my mind. This time of year often evokes fond memories of family, friends, and life's moments shared together. When we pause and reflect, we realize our world is readying itself for the impending cold and harsh days... In one glorious explosion of color, she made her final statement of life before relinquishing it. She lived! As the last harvest is gathered, she prepares for a period of renewal and growth. The seasonal changes remind us of the cycle of life and the beauty of transformation. God's gift of nature provides us with a blueprint for personal growth, reflecting our individual journeys through the changing seasons. As we navigate through the cold of winter, the renewal of spring, the warmth of summer, and the harvest of fall, we become empowered to embrace change and unlock our potential. Some changes are visible, while others are felt internally, allowing us to heal and prepare for what's next... Can these changes also be seen and felt in our relationship with God? My experience says yes, and observing how everything is connected, it's clear that our timing is not just about yearly occurrences, but about life experiences, which we still call seasons. When I didn't know Christ, my soul was in a cold, harsh winter place, unaware that I kept it there, sadly waiting in the dark. My soul became dormant and unresponsive, like a tall maple tree on a beautiful winter's day. Did I appear dead? Did the spark of life disappear? Unaware, Christ was still working hard, much like a farmer, to preserve my life, planning, prepping, and watering. He brought His beauty, light, song of love, and slowly led my lost soul out of its dormant state. Then, suddenly, with a burst of color, my soul could finally breathe, and life began to beautifully unfurl. He turned up the heat, much like a hot summer day, and my love for Him ignited, setting my heart ablaze. Never fear change, for our Savior's light illuminates the path ahead, guiding us through every season of life. He is our refuge in winter's harshness, our haven in times of need, He brings new life to barren souls, and His love is as gentle as a summer breeze. With His love, we can embrace every season with faith and hope. Through the power of His love, we can trust that every season of our lives will be filled with purpose and promise, as we evolve and flourish into the best versions of ourselves.
He WOWs me!
It’s Him, It’s always Him
For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
