Fail

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 1:24

The meaning of fail is to be unsuccessful in achieving one's goal.

"he failed in his attempt to secure election". Neglect to do something.

There are 88 Verses About Fail from 27 Books of the Bible.

Fail a four-letter word that can carry such huge scars… Life is such a learning experience every moment of every day. When thinking about this word my mind raced to my childhood and school. It's there I learned there is punishment with failure.  We all have been there at one time or another. Its those graded papers fault. Those terrible red marks.. yikes. As if the red marks are not bad enough we then had to share this news with our parents… And there is where you were given the final dispensation for the crime commented.

Our value system is based on these milestones of life. But when I look to the Bible for help. I see where failure turned in the hope. Because you see its not the failure that truly defines who we are. It is how well we run the race!!

And then I had this question, did we fail Jesus at the cross? I do believe many viewed Him that day and said. We stopped His Mission He failed. But the beauty of His love is, it never fails. Because that day what some viewed as a failure turned out to be the greatest LOVE story ever told.

So today do we ask ourselves can we love Him enough to show the world He did not fail? And that His Mission of LOVING us so much was indeed a success. It was a success not because of us, but because He was willing to do whatever it would take to complete the mission. A mission set before Him by our Heavenly Father.

It was such a monumental sacrificial gift. One that we can never repay. It did leave me with this thought. I feel, at the end of every day when we talk to HIM, we should ask, did we run a good race? and did we love you enough?

You will find that in dealing with Him there is no failure… He will pick you up, He will dust you off, tie your shoes, and say. Let’s try that again tomorrow my child. This time take me with you. He will never leave you. Your success in life depends on Him. He will always be there cheering you on. He will greet you with a high five and a smile as you cross the finish line.

It’s Him It’s always Him.

Be strong and courageous, don't be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, it is He who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6.

"Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." Corinthians 13:8, NIV:

Door (Open the door to your heart)

In the NKJ Bible, the word door is used 159 times. 125 times in the Old Testament and 34 times in the New Testament.

An opening for entering or leaving a house, tent, or room.

In life, doors are either opening or closing... Some may even slam shut!  Leaving us mad, or bewildered and confused or possibly even

thankful ??

In our present-day, we have locked the doors to our homes, businesses, churches. Many have listened to authorities and have virtually hunkered down and rolled up the carpet and are passing the time with family.

A situation forcing us to evaluate what is important. It is crushing the economic health of our lives. It's affecting how we conduct our relationships with the outside world. Keep your distance rule. It SAFE but lacks our human need to touch, belong, hug, or just hold hands.

Times are sad for many. But I truly feel there is good news among this challenging time... I feel and have witnessed many are finding comfort by opening the door to their heart like never before. In the midst of these uncertain times, many are feeling that tug of their heart and hearing

God's subtle whisper in their soul.

I, like many of you, have heard when God closes one door He will open another ...That statement is resonating in homes across America. We have closed the physical doors to life as we know it but have opened the spiritual doors like never before.

Yes, these are unprecedented times. The Bible tells us Jesus is available for anyone who is ready to knock.

So, lay back, close your eyes, get very still, and listen... You will hear and feel the door to your heart-opening.  You will experience love and unbridled curiosity and passion to know Christ like never before!! It’s in times of stress and anxiety that we can truly feel His presence. He is just on the other side of the door. He says knock ..  I say open it!! Embrace Him and love Him like you have never loved him before... He is the ONLY answer!!

It’s Him, it’s always Him.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.REV 3:20 NIV

Behold

            (1 X 1 X 1 = 1)

The word behold appears in 1,527 instances in the Bible.

Meaning of Behold to see or observe (a thing or person, especially a remarkable or one)." The botanical gardens were a wonder to behold"

Behold is from Middle English beholden, from Old English behealdan(“to hold, have, occupy, possess, guard, preserve, contain, belong, keep, observe, consider, behold, look at, gaze on.

Behold. Is this a word that is time-stamped and dated? It is no longer used in our day to day activity. Have we as a society lost our luster for the beauty of language? Have we traveled so far that we have lost the true meaning of our heritage? Our language has evolved into emojis and random texts😳Can we turn back to a value system and speak eloquent words of romance and love and caring?

Behold… if given the task to incorporate this word in our lives just how would we use this word? I can only speak for myself and how my journey has unfolded. When I look at the word behold. I would use it to describe a LOVE that transcends time and space.  I do believe this LOVE etched His name on my heart. On a special day in May when He touched my soul.

This word Behold can only speak of God the Father, His beautiful Son, and the very breath of God Himself the Holy Spirit.  They are the only ones that truly deserve and possess such a bigger than life status.  The word behold demands and complements, one of royalty, one of beauty, and one that leaves you breathless and in awe.

If I was given the task of introducing Him to you. I would definitely use the word Behold…  and tell you I call Him LOVE because there is no one in heaven or on earth that possesses such Glory… and depth of LOVING!!

So, did we as a society, truly stop using this word in general conversation because we knew…It was reserved for someone greater than life itself?

How does He bring such beauty and grace through the ages? Behold…

It's Him, Its always Him

I am sharing the interesting fact below.

As I tried to understand this word I began by dissecting the word in 2 parts and this is what I found.

(the meaning of the words)

1. BE 2. HOLD

1.   BE intransitive verb. 1a: to equal in meaning: have the same connotation as symbolize God is love

2.   HOLD Noun - power or control.

He blows my beholding mind !!! WOW!!

No man can behold all my glory, Moses 1:5.

And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; Gen 9:9

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the worldJohn 1:29

Surrender

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
 James 4:7

Surrender meaning Yield Upward. Surrendering all to God means to yield upward rather than to our current circumstances.

The word surrender or various words utilizing the mean of surrender appears in the Bible 35 instances.

Surrender is it the opposite of having power?? Or is the act of surrender seen by others as an act of weakness? I do think when we look at surrender with our human eyes, we see weak, we see discourage, we see the loss of control?? But by digging deep within, and with the guidance of our loving God.

I would like to look at surrender from another vantage point...Sometimes the best strategy is not always from a weak surrendered position. But from a position of truly looking at the bigger picture. Surrendering to God does not strip us of the elements that make us who we are.

Letting go and letting God puts us in a state of acceptance, growth, refinement, and begins a transformation that only God can orchestrate.  However, I will simplify. God cannot help us get to our destination unless we give him the keys to the car... in this case our heart.

So, when we pray and ask Him for help, with finances, with relationships, or with any of our life trials... Be prepared to give Him the keys... If you sit in the passenger seat and continue to shift the gears ... forward, neutral, reverse ??? Eventually, the car will not function as it is intended and eventually the gears will be stripped ... That is when you will realize you could have avoided all the pitfalls in your “life’s journey.” If you would have only surrendered. You should have Let Go and Let Him manage all aspects of your (Life) trip.

Because you see God will always be sitting in the driver's seat. And you realize you were too stubborn, and could not see the big picture. You would not let go of the gear shift. But one day you will come to a crossroad, a road eventually we all must travel and there you will be so weak you will willingly surrender ...

So, I suggest that we surrender from a position of strategy by looking at the bigger picture. He is sitting in the driver’s seat!!! So, Let go, give him full control! And then Kick back and enjoy the ride.

So, the decision becomes do I surrender my keys now or do I wait until I am weak, and I surrender them anyway.

I would further ask what is it that we value so much in this world that we would not want to surrender to Him??? Personally, He already has my keys. I gave them to Him when I surrendered my heart. And now like any child, I ask Him... are we there yet!!! Because it’s been a heck of a ride so far.

Zoom 🏎 Zoom.

It's Him. it’s always Him.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:6 -10 ESV

“And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? NLT.

Breath

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear his voice, Hebrew 3:7

In the King James version. the word - breath - appears 42 times. the word, breathe appears 4 times. The word breathed appears 4 times

Breath is used in the Bible as a powerful symbol of the life-giving presence of God. Like God Himself, the air we breathe is invisible, odorless, and tasteless—it cannot be perceived at all unless it moves. It is usually peaceful and still, but it is a reservoir of enormous power.

(answersingenesis.org)

As we breathe our first breath at birth, we are given the gift of life from our creator... So innocent, fresh, and sweet. This miracle of how we rhythmically breathe without much thought is amazing.

However, when we stop and think about the power of God’s breath, and how He breathes the Holy Spirit’s sweet existence into our soul. It truly is mind-blowing.

The Bible does teach us that He breathes the Holy Spirit into the very essence of who we are, I think He does this to communicate with us on a spiritual level. The Holy Spirit is sent to guide us, to comfort us, and to bring us unexplainable joy.

One of His many functions is to teach us more about The Father, The Son, life and love, and how we should conduct our lives here on earth. He also reveals more about Himself as He communes with us daily. What an amazing gift!! God has trusted us enough to give us a special part of Himself, and we call that gift the Holy Spirit.

God’s breath can come as a gentle whisper or it can come as a rushing mighty wind...He possesses a gentleness that is beyond compare. But He also possesses a relentless power that can move heaven and earth, to chase the ones he LOVES.

I stand in awe in His presence! And say, yes you can fall in love with the Holy Spirit ...He is a beautiful gift from our Heavenly Father’s own breath.  I believe this gift comes from the deepest chamber of the Father's heart!!

So, I feel when our Father entrust us with this gift. We must do everything in our power to cherish the gift that He gently has placed in our soul. This gift will remain ingrained in our hearts until He calls us home. Where and when we can feel the sweetness of His breath again.

Its Him, Its's always Him.

“As long as I have life within me, the breath of God in my nostrils,” Job 27:3 NIV

“And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. “John 20:22 NIV

“So, in the end, we will all die. People will bury our dead bodies under the ground. Our spirits will return to God.”

Ecclesiastes 12:7 EASY

“In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Job 12:10 NIV.

Choice

"Fashion is a kind of communication. It's a language without words. A great hat speaks for itself."

In the Bible, there are more than 200 references to the word “choose” or one of its variations.

The meaning of choice: an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities:

I wrestled with this word for days not being able to make a choice in what direction I would want my heart to go.

And then while driving on the most beautifully amazing spot in Triune TN,  my heartfelt peace and guidance began to unfold. And here is where He led my heart ...

In life, we all face so many choices every second of every day.  When I look around the choices that seem to be on everyone’s mind are as follows.

Pick one or the other:

Right or Left

Social or Distant

Believers non-Believers

Democrat or Republican

School or Home School

Mask no Mask

Fake News or Truth

Peace or War

Unity or Divided

Forgiving or Chastising

Kindness or Cruelty

Compassion or Callous

LOVE or Hate

And the list could go on for miles.

So, the question becomes how do we come to a decision that can give us the outcome that will give us that peace in knowing it was the best choice we could make??

It has been my experience if we use God and His word as a filter... and sift the choices and all its components through Him. Something beautiful happens... As in any filtering system, it gets rid of the sludge, the waste, and the impurities. and you are left with a product of purity, clarity, and refinement ... Your soul will feel an amazing peace and His Love will shine through your smile and your actions.

Doing the right thing isn’t always easy.  Because we are all are a work in progress. However, the good news is that we are loved beyond our own understanding.

So, I say the only choice that truly matters is:

To Filter or Not to Filter the choice is yours.

I choose...

Him, It’s always Him

James 2:5

Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him

Deuteronomy 7:6

For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Conflict

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9

Meaning of conflict, a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one.

There are 18 instances where conflict appears in the Bible.

When our soul is in conflict It robs us of our peace.  It robs us of joy. It robs us of living life. There are times in this life things come at us faster pace than we can handle.  There are times we are faced with heartbreak due to conflict. There are times these moments may be our fault and there are times it is at the hand of another…

It’s when we do not take a moment to understand behaviors or reactions. As our human frailties unfold, we have a tendency to react due to scars that we have accumulated along the way. It is difficult to put these emotions aside and truly see the value and the history of the person.

What has caused this reaction that caused the conflict? Are these conflicts self-inflicted? Sometimes the damage is a difficult road to travel. It can scar the heart and the heart of another.

Are solutions in our control??
I have found sometimes the conflict is within us.

I do believe we are responsible for how we react. How willing we are to understand. How willing we are to open our hearts.

I do know solutions cannot be one way…
A conflict takes at least two. Solutions also take at least two … If you stand alone…. the conflict fire may dim with time… but the wound will never fully heal…

I do know my God is not a God of conflict. He is a God of LOVE because he knows just how important LOVE is… It is the biggest healer of any human situation.

It has been proven time and time again gentle love will heal and bring back life to even the lifeless… Eventually, the trust will be rebuilt. But we must free our hearts to love past the conflict. Because if we cannot, this issue will damage us from within…. This conflict will have a ripple effect that can hurt everything in its path. Life is too short for conflict, it erodes the quality of life and damages relationships that perhaps you once valued.

I am disheartened to see the conflict in our world. it has become ramped in our streets.… Fires burning, People taking sides… People ripping through the veil of humanity.

Only LOVE and understand can bring unity…. Jesus can heal our relationships and our world. He is watching He is the only answer. But we cannot sit idly and wait… action on our part is required.

Reach out touch one heart today, cross the line that has been drawn in the sand, open the door to your heart. Let Jesus guide us to a world of Peace and Love. I don’t know about you, but in my fleeting time on earth, I want to see a beautiful united world. I do believe with Jesus. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

It's Him, It's always HIM!

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.Matthew 5:9.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”.John 13:34

In your anger do not sin” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry… Ephesians 4:26.

TRiUnE LOVE (Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit)

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My [Jesus’] name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:26

I had the word for today all ready to post. The word that was scheduled for today was conflict. However, my heart advised me, to hold conflict until tomorrow? Because there is already too much conflict in our world. There are too many hearts that need to find LOVE. A love that can mend their heart and speak peace to their soul.

My mood changed from one of discord to one of light airy and a feeling of warmth and amazement. LOVE can breathe life into a once dormant and sad soul. How and why can love change so many things??

And then my mind drifted to a LOVE that I cannot explain?  I do say, it is the most amazing LOVE one could ever feel. It’s one that comes any day anywhere anytime. I am writing this at 2am because this LOVE whispered into my ear and I felt the need to share. And yes, anytime is the right time to share this LOVE. Even at 2am.

So, when I was given the task of describing this LOVE? I realized it is not a LOVE that can easily be described.  It is such a feel thing. Is this love just fleeting emotion? I say not because this love has been around since the beginning of time. This LOVE contains such beauty, patience, and grace … It can right any wrong.  It can rush into your soul like a mighty wind. It can bring tears of joy. It can heal bodily wounds. It can change your mood in a fraction of a second. It can open your heart for others to see the essence of who you truly are.  It can open your eyes to see the miracles that surround you each waking moment. It will open your vulnerable soul, to experience and appreciate the beauty life. This LOVE goes by many names. He is special to every heart. He wants nothing but to love you and to be loved in return. He even will change His name. He will meet you where ever you are. He will not judge you. He will love you unconditionally if you let Him.

I don’t know about you but I will commit today to lay down any conflict and discord in my heart and chase this LOVE with all that I am.

This LOVE has a name, I call them LOVEs ( Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit) If you have not felt this amazing LOVE you can! You just need to invite Him in. Because He will never invade your space. He will, however, share that special space in your heart.

It's that amazing space that has been there all along. You may search your entire life and try to fill that void you feel in your heart. But eventually, you will realize He is the only one that has the ability to make your heart whole. You see He was there before you were born and He kept that special piece of your heart to remember you .. and He will hold it until the day you return to Him.

Its Him, It's always Him.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. I John 4:16

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.1 John 4:7

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37.
