Still

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls
Matthew 11:28-29

In King James' The Authorized Version of the Bible (AV), there are seven (7) uses of the phrase “be still”.

Meaning of still: deep silence and calm; stillness.

Our lives seem so busy with things! Things! and more things! But why? But what? But when? When did life get so complicated? We try to pack so much into our busy day! Do you ever feel there are never enough hours in the day? Do we truly try to prioritize what really matters? Do you see what is right in front of you? Or do you miss the beauty of life itself?

If you could indulge me for a moment. Stop and think what would matter to you most, if you left this earth with the snap of your finger? Most of us at that pivotal moment of time would cry out to God…
Oh God No!

I need more time…

Time for what? To make that meeting? To buy that new car? Time to land that next promotion?

Let’s slow down the pace just a little. Truly slow down the pace! And let’s get real Still. Relax, close your eyes, take a deep breath, now exhale, and go deep into your mind and truly ask yourself what are the three most important things in your life?

I will share my list …

1.   The Father, His Son, and Holy Spirit, because when I say OH God it’s because I am feeling His love and seeing the beauty of His Face.

2.   My family as they have loved me through this journey, we call life. They have given me the most amazing memories.

3.   My friends the ones who came and stayed when they had a choice to run. They supported my dreams and filled my days with light-hearted laughter. They too gifted me with beautiful memories.

Don’t let things get in the way of what is important in this life. When you feel that there are not enough hours in the day. Remember to go to your STILL place seek #1 with all your heart, soul, and mind. And be thankful that you are blessed with #2 and #3… Because at the end of the day if it did not make your list… it’s just things… things that can be taken away, things that depreciate in value, and things you can’t take with you.

But the things on my list, cannot be taken away because they live in my heart and they are etched in my soul.  There is no value associated with them because they are priceless.
It’s you… my beautiful family and friends and of course it’s …

Him, It's always Him…

Appreciate the STILL moments.. Get in touch with your soul. And Just breathe.

Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling. Zechariah 2:13

“Be still and know that I am God!  Psalm 46:10-11

“The LORD will fight for you while you keep still.” Exodus 14:14

“The LORD is in his holy Temple. Habakkuk 2:20.

Faith

“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:40

Great trust or confidence in something or someone: The word "faith" appears 336 times in the KJV.

A state of confidence of things unseen in our future for long and short terms. or to eternity

Faith is a word that sometimes is difficult to understand.  I think faith is an action understood by the mind and felt in the heart and soul...

Sometimes faith can be exercised in life without even knowing that you are doing so... I feel faith is wrapped in hope and trust. When I decided to learn more about faith, I tried to see it on a personal level... and my memories brought me here...

As a child I had great faith in my earthly father ... he was my protector ... I knew in my heart he would put himself on the line for me... I remember, as a child, we would go on family vacations and swim in the hotel pool for hours. Those times hold amazing memories. However, my faith was exercised even then in a major way!! Picture ... a child ... a hotel pool ... and this child does not know how to swim...

However, this child has a dad that would tread water for hours, in the deepest part of the pool... to catch them. This was my dad. Once he was, in position.  I would climb on the diving board. with no floating devices... armed only with my faith in him. And without hesitation or forethought, I would run and take a flying leap, fly through the air and land in the baby blue sparkling water below ... as my head went under, I knew full well and without a doubt, he was there to catch and guide me to the pool’s edge ... I feel that is a blind trust ... My faith played out by knowing my dad, trusting him, and having the confidence in him that he would always protect and be there for me.

We ask how is it possible to have this type of faith? I can only say my faith was built over time by truly knowing him ... and knowing his heart and knowing the LOVE he has given me. This is how my strong confidence in him became a reality. Thus, bringing the result of unshakable faith ...

So, you see when we speak of faith in God. It’s about getting to truly know him... know His heart. know His desires. His word. knowing and feeling His amazing LOVE. Spending time with Him and knowing Him intimately builds beautiful confidence and trust! resulting in unshakable faith. You will know it in your mind and feel it in your heart and soul. This without a doubt feeling that He will always be there for you even when you jump!!

Faith, It's Him, It's always Him.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Dove

And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." NIV

A Dove, usually a small bird, are used in many settings as symbols of love, peace or as messengers.

Doves (24 instances) 30 Bible Verses about doves.

The Dove seems to have such a gentleness and grace.  This angelic looking bird is not to be confused with the white pigeon. Both look and have similar traits.

However, I questioned and wanted to understand why the Dove has such an important role in the Bible? Why was it chosen by God to represent the very essence of His Spirit? Which we know as the Holy Spirit?

Hmm as I pondered this, I attempted to research this angelic bird a little further. However, I find when we question why God does things; we may never know the true answer unless God Himself finds it in his heart to one day share, or disclose the answer?

So, I can only share a few interesting points that I discovered.  1. The Dove is Biblically considered a clean animal (due to diet and self grooming) 2. The Dove mates for life 3. Its temperament is peaceful, consistent, affable, loyal, and friendly. 4. He has been used to deliver messages.

Putting those facts aside for the moment. I will share what I found to be the most interesting. Did I stumble upon a parallel that before today I had never thought of?  If we dig into a few scriptures in the Bible, we will find the Dove represents God as the Holy Spirit and the Lamb represents Jesus.  The Dove and the Lamb have very similar if not the same traits. As I thought of the similarities, I began to get a clearer image. And began to understand that God the Father and His Son needed to have the same traits to co-exist in Peace and Harmony.  They are pure and clean of heart and possess an unbreakable bond of loyalty.

So where and how does this affect us? When the Holy Spirit co-exists within our hearts, we will find his traits of Peace, Harmony and Wisdom will begin to take residence in our souls. Our hearts will yearn to share in His Love and this unbreakable bond of loyalty... As this bond strengthens, we will find ourselves becoming part of the lamb’s flock, and we will begin to hear our Shepherd’s voice. This co-existence is a crucial ingredient of the 3N1’s relationship and their relationship with all of mankind.

“You are like a dove that is hiding in a rock. You are like a dove that is hiding in the mountains. Show your face to me because it is lovely. Let me hear your voice because it has a beautiful sound.”
Song of Songs 2:14 EASY

“The Holy Spirit came down on to Jesus. When he came down like that, he looked like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son and I love you. You make me very happy.’” Luke 3:22 EASY

“And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:” Mark 1:10 KJV

Repair

A business card is your calling card. It is a valuable marketing tool and an essential element to becoming UNFORGETTABLE!! (Remember Him)

Meaning fix or mend (a thing suffering from damage or a fault):

There are approximately 18 verses in the Bible that address the word repair.

Our bodies are amazing! How can some not see them as walking miracles? We all know our bodies need downtime to rest, recover, and refresh. But when all these wonderful things are taking place. I question how do we repair our souls?

Are our bodies just a reflection of who we truly are? We know that our bodies are important to maintain and keep running. But it’s my opinion our souls are even of greater importance...? Why? Because our soul is the vehicle that we were given to travel with from birth to eternity. So just how do we take care of our soul???

I think one of the first steps is to tune out and tune in to our light source...

1.   Take long nature walks. Turn off electronics and truly stop and see the beauty that our Father created (you will be amazed)
2.   Meditation prayerfully (it’s a great travel date with yourself. and sometimes you will have visits with special friends)
3.   Search your heart. Find love and sprinkle it wherever you go.
We have become so busy with life that we miss the opportunities to LOVE.
4.   Show gratitude (start a journal, document, take pictures and share your life)
5.   I of course saved the best for last. Introduce yourself to the greatest repairman I have been blessed to know. Find Him, spend time with Him, talk to Him, and love Him with all your mind, your heart, and soul.

If your soul is in need of repair or if you are just feeling sluggish.
I suggest you call him today.

He has worked miracles in my life. He can in yours too!

It’s Him, It’s always Him

“I, the Son of Man, came to look for people who are far away from    God. They are in danger and I have come to save them.’”

Wonder

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works -- He who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches the mountains, and they smoke. – Psalm 104:31-32

Wonder is mentioned in 8 books and occurs 15 times in the Bible.

The meaning of wonder: a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.

How do we wrap our heads around the word wonder?  My research pointed me to the 7 wonders of the world? I found myself in of course Wikipedia? Where much to my surprise the 7 wonders are many different lists?? How can this be??

I don’t know when things became so complicated??  I will try to simplify it.  You may or may not agree. But without God, there would be no list. So, when I look at the word wonder I go to the source.

And I can only speak from my experience and my heart. My Journey has been filled with wonder, the Triune surprises me at every turn.

With each passing day.  I discover more about God, The Son, and The Holy Spirit … Holy Moly if that is not the greatest wonder we will ever know??

How did He come to us in so many different ways?? How has He sustained a following since the beginning of time?? How does He become ingrained in our soul? How does He have the power to heal? How did He give up His life? How did He become alive again?? How? How does He LOVE His children so much??

I stand in awe most of the time. He takes my breath away and leaves me speechless.

I can’t help but wonder what does He want with us? Why hasn’t he given up??

I think He is like any great artist He falls in love with His work. He admires what he created from nothing. He places great value and will take special care of each and every one of His priceless creations.

Imagine if this is true… this beautiful essence of the word wonder is reciprocal, and It holds a Love that bridges time and space. How can we not admire and love Him with our very last breath? How can we not give Him our heart?  I stand in awe! I wonder why we are so blessed to have Him?

It's Him!  It is always HIM!!

If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, Deuteronomy 13:1NIV

And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. Acts 3:10 NIV

Abandonment

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land.
For, I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15.

Meaning of abandonment, the action or fact of abandoning or being abandoned. There are 22 encouraging verses about abandonment in the Bible.

Abandonment is such a lonely feel word… I find there are so many degrees of this heartfelt emotional word. When did we abandon our values, when did we abandon the love for our fellow man? When did our foundation erode?

When I scroll on my phone and see our fractured world. Where violence and discord abound?? I search for answers? How? Why? When? Where do we go from here?? I find myself like many asking God some hard questions… How do we turn the clock back to a simpler time?

I see the world like an abandoned building. Eroding with the lack of care. The lack of pride, The lack of Love. How do we get the LOVE back??

The only answer is Christ… He is holding our world in His loving hands and watching with tear-filled eyes. His heart breaks as He waits for His Father to say … We have given them the tools, the words, and the guidance… And they still cannot do it on their own…

Son, it is time for you to return… Our children are lost without you …Yahshua, mount up get ready to ride, and fight for our children and show the world who you truly are.

It’s time!! It’s time to bring back a simpler time, where love and peace are on the lips of each and every soul. I will be with you! It’s time to use your power to bring unity to my world and replace the feeling of abandonment with the gift of LOVE and Life!! Tell each one of them,I LOVE them, and I am preparing a celebration for their return. Hallelujah the time has come! Go, my SON….With my speed.

Its Him, Its always HIM...

We need His love to mend our hearts and bridge the divide. We can be the change! It all starts with touching one heart at a time…

*disclaimer ... Just sharing thoughts from my torn heart. Are you ready?

Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. Acts 3:21

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood Revelation 1:1-20

Action

The Greatest Story Ever Told!

The word action is referenced 24 times in the Bible.

Meaning of action:  Literally, a driving; hence, the state of acting or moving; the exertion of power or force, as when one body acts on another; or action is the effect of power exerted on one body by another; motion produced.

When I hear the word action!

I hear in my mind lights, camera, action. That is where the characters bring life to the words on a page called the script.   We flock to theaters with great anticipation to view the finished product we call movies...

So where is this word action taking me? I will start with the SCRIPTures.. we have the words ... The characters of old are present and give us the flavor of life of long ago. We can study them to know how to step into this role we call life. In getting to know each character it paints a vivid picture of the set, the attire, the food. the true value of life.

Here is when you see the main character come to life... you see the miracles, you see the sacrifice, you see a beautiful soul that has such an amazing loving heart.  Where will this story take us?  Does the last page of this book say, “The End”?

Happy to report it does not! Because you are a part of this amazing story. and until He says it is finished ... We must take action and build our character and a life that is worthy to be shared with Him and others ...

He has told us he will be with us every step of the way ... But we must study our lines and make them our own.

So, when they say Lights, Camera Action. It will be the greatest story ever told.  Take action to read the SCRIPTures... Be everything He knows you can be!

“Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” John 13:17

“But someone will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:18

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

The Value

There is a season (TurnturnturnEcclesiastes 3:4

There are 52 verses referencing value in the Bible. The meaning of value: the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.

I am of the mindset that everyone has value. Everyone has a different set of life victories and trials giving them a unique set of attributes and values.

Some sparkle like the beautiful night stars and can be embraced for the beauty they possess. Others are complicated and sometimes guarded... But we must look for the treasure buried deep within, sometimes you will find that they have the most amazing souls.

So, take the time to find that magical spark that gives them their unique value. Embrace that quality and tell them that you value that quality about them ...That quality can teach you so many wonderful things. Value the people that cross your path as they can bless your life and help you to grow in so many ways. That growth will increase the value of YOU far beyond your own imagination.

I don't think we meet by accident, so don't miss the chance to connect, to LOVE, and share LIFE.

The Father has loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are his children. The reason the people in the world do not know us is that they have not known him. 1 John 3 NCV
