Soul felt

“We ourselves feel what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.” Mother Teresa

As I close my eyes… I can feel the gentleness of the ocean breeze and taste the salt as it rests upon my lips…I can hear the rhythmic movement of the waves… as they call me home… This is my escape into my peaceful abyss… Far from the world where hate and discord seem to be rampant. People have lost the beauty of life itself… I have been given the power… the vision… and a love that stretches far beyond our world. These gifts can mold us into what God has envisioned us to be…. It’s a power that rests in our minds… in our hearts, and in the depths of our souls…

Only He has the power to release the beauty that lives within!

It's Him. It is always Him…  and I am undone!

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?  For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. Matthew 16:26-27

A year of songs

Some things in life are just unexplainable… Music has played a major role in my spiritual journey… It started in Nashville, TN, where Music is a significant part of the culture. It was there an artist from my hometown in Florida shared her unpublished music with me… When I listened to these lyrics, I felt an unexplainable stirring in my soul, and before I even knew what hit me, the Holy Spirit blew my soul wide open on a country road in Triune, TN. He then placed my feet on the most intense, incredible journey of love…. With each day, I discovered more about the Trinity… And together, they taught me more about myself than I had ever known… a scary yet delightfully heartfelt.. life-changing experience.

The link below is a playlist created by Spotify… My songs of 2023. These songs hold so many memories… Memories of a Bible word study… Memories of meditations... Memories of people, places, and things. But primarily, they hold sweet Memories of a love story written between me, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit… This music has no specific artist, genre, or order, but these songs have taken me places only my soul could have traveled…

There, I have felt a heavenly love that has no descriptive words… It is a love that must be regarded with a passion and understanding that only God can offer...

It’s Him! It’s always Him.

I know for a fact He will use all the creative gifts available to speak to our thirsty souls… The question becomes, are we looking? Are we listening??? Are we opening our hearts?

Close your eyes, think of Him, and listen with your soul…

Insanity

Asbury College - LIVE

- The meaning of insanity: is extreme foolishness or irrationality.

It”s crazy that words you would think are not in the Bible are there pressed within its wisdom!! It was no different with the word insanity we found 23 verses!

We are all a little judgmental when we view others.  If their behavior is not what we consider “normal”  we tend to think they are a little crazy or insane…

But I ask who placed the boundaries on what is “normal”?  Or what is “acceptable” in our circles of life?

During my journey, I have seen and felt this judgmental spirit… To the point of questioning my own sanity and behavior.

On the very first day of my spiritual encounter, things began to change… The mundane everyday existence that I had grown comfortable with began to unravel. Things became new and exciting and God's love began to teach me that there is MORE…

And my thoughts shifted and my “normal” behavior began its spiritually enlightened journey and my once bound life took flight… Many thought that I had lost my mind… perhaps I would need medical advice? Mid-life crisis? But none of these was the correct diagnosis…

I had been touched by God… And for that, there is NO cure… because there is no illness.

Loving Him is our soul's purpose. (Matthew 22:40). I will admit He gave my life new meaning…. I grew closer to Him as others watched. Some judgmental souls became distant. But their curious hearts continued to watch me unfold from a distance.

I gained so much more, more depth, more love, more understanding… He made my life richer, and my quest to know more about Him continues… He placed a hunger in my soul that cannot be contained.

I believe this word came to me today as I watch what many people will view as insane behavior as it unfolds… on all social media.

Asbury college has caught the spiritually enlightened bug of love from God. People are watching, some like me have this desire to go there and connect with the souls that have felt His stirring in their parched souls... Some will raise their hands and praise Elohim where they stand in unity.  Some will think these young souls have lost their minds… “insanity” is rampant at Asbury College.

I am triple their age… and Had my own experience almost five years ago. I know first hand God shows no favoritism in color, race, age, or gender we are all His children. And He is calling all His beautiful souls…  But to the world, the ones who listen are seen as chosen…

Are you listening?

We live in a world of judgment especially when we do not understand.

I have lived in His love and have difficulty putting His amazing spiritual love into words…

But if I am labeled as insane I know it's because of many people's lack of knowledge.. and I am ok with that. I would not change His gift of love for all the riches on earth.

So as we watch our youth raise their hands and utter prayers with new and beautiful excitement. Don’t judge … fall on your knees,  listen…and find your purpose!!

We were created to love! By the master of love, God Himself... (1 John 4:7-21)  It truly does not matter what others think.

Yes, I admit I am crazy… crazy about Him… it will always be Him.

He gave me the courage to stand up and be counted... as HIS.

He gets me more than anyone. He knows me better than I know myself… and yet He except me with all my flaws and promised to love me to the end of time.

I am excited to witness His love touching our youth. They are our future … They will carry His name and His love for future generations.  They are all His legacy...

Let’s raise our hands where we stand in unity for one day we will all be one people, under the one and only living God.

Elohim…

What’s the definition of insanity again?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

Who would not want to feel loved over and over again? Is that insane??  I say not. I pray, you agree…

If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God . . .

- 2 Corinthians 5:13

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9

Pentecost

"The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire." ~ Ferdinand Foch...

Meaning of Pentecost the Christian festival celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after his Ascension held on the seventh Sunday after Easter.

There are 15 verses that refer to the word Pentecost in the Bible. The word Pentecost is from the Greek word 'Pentekostos', which means 'fifty'

What a powerful gift !! One that in my opinion does not get its rightful praise.

Many many years ago on this very day which many call Pentecost sits an amazing event that changed history, and the church was born.

One hundred and twenty believers in Christ, men, and women were instructed to go and wait for a comforter in the upper room. I can only imagine the anticipation, the whispers the nail-biting, and the prayers that filled the very walls of this location in Jerusalem..  Close your eyes and just try to envision this moment.

This day marked the calendar as the 50th day from the Sabbath of Passover celebration. The celebration of the Feast of Weeks (Leviticus 23:16).

Many celebrated wearing white because it is written that 3,000 people were baptized due to the outpour of this LOVE, on that monumental day.

There were two promises fulfilled that day. One promise is in the Old Testament – Joel 2:28, which says "I will pour out my Spirit on all people", and one in the New, where Jesus says He will send another Counsellor, the Spirit of truth (John 16: 5-15).

If we could close our eyes and travel back in time. This moment would have to be an indescribable moment in time. It’s a moment that could have left the 120 people that obeyed Jesus speechless. However, it’s written that they spoke in a heavenly language that became known as tongues.  I have found that many today dismiss this as a possibility because of a lack of knowledge or fear of the unknown. But it had to be a beautiful moment that even the ones that uttered these words did not even understand.

To be overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit can send a rush of emotion, that is very difficult to describe and contain. To be overwhelmed by God's own spiritual breath. OMG... if only they had cell phones, who and what would they be texting .. imagine the selfies that would have flooded all social media networks ... The outpour of His Love was such a dramatic event that it could have even set the non-believer's heads afire.

This miraculous moment gave all who yearn for something greater than this life "Hope" by sharing these seven gifts wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.

As I finished writing the words that outline these amazing gifts.  I found they lacked something?  They lacked the life and the excitement the Holy Spirit brings into our hearts and soul. It is not enough to know the facts that are written in this marvelous book we have grown to love... We must experience that fire that ignites our souls... The Holy Spirit is a precious part of the Trinity. He is our Heavenly connection to our Heavenly Father. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all caring, all-loving. He lives within ... and He is truly is indescribable. He WOWs me.

These seven gifts are associated with the giving of the Holy Spirit, an idea well-rooted in the Scriptures. These gifts were delivered to a group of believers who gathered as instructed. He brought a message of love, hope, and the gift of redemption through our relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. This message was a message to be shared with all of mankind and to be spread to all corners of our world.. Resulting in what we now call church. But if the Holy Spirit does not breathe His fire into the hearts of its members it will be void of the beautiful essence of the greatest LOVE we can ever experience.

During my journey, He invaded my heart and soul in such a unique and powerful way. But that story is for another day!! It’s His celebration day today!!

However, I will share this moment, during my spiritual walk I questioned, Why is it I hear that people fall in love with God, they fall in love with Jesus. But I never hear anyone say I fell in love with the Holy Spirit ??? I found out that many do fall in LOVE with the Holy Spirit. I was just a spiritual child with so much yet to learn.

However I am beyond grateful for the Holy Spirit He is my conduit to Jesus and to my Heavenly Father, He is my teacher, my confidant.. He is the very breath that has set this all-consuming fire in my soul.. He is forever a beautiful part of my 3n1.

It's Him, It’s always Him!!!

(Triune) = (Trinity) Loves Me)

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.   Acts 2:1 -47

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John  14:26

Spiritual

The call of God is not just for a select few but for everyone. Whether I hear God’s call or not depends on the condition of my ears, and exactly what I hear depends upon my spiritual attitude.”― Oswald Chambers

- Zac Poonen

Meaning of Spiritual: Relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. I'm responsible for his spiritual welfare". Relating to religion or religious belief.

There are approximately 33 verses about spiritual life in the Bible. There are also approximately 75 verses about spirituality. Some search and find many different ways to achieve this state of mind.

There are earthly, men and women that claim that they can teach us the steps of “ONENESS”. Some add meditation. Some add yoga as a form of exercise. Some teach breathing techniques. I am not here to disprove their teachings.

I can only share my thoughts and my heart. I personally have always thought of myself in the spiritual sense. Without doing any of the above rituals. I am not sure why? I had no religious background. I just have always felt our spiritual essence is who we truly are. We are just wrapped up in this human body.

Now we could take this word deeper and ask what is the difference between the spirit and the soul?  It is my understanding our soul is our mind, will, and emotions. This is the part where we think and feel.

It is in our spirit that the Holy Spirit comes to reside when we become born again and we accept Jesus within our hearts. When that happens, our spirit becomes “ALIVE” because it has finally connected to its first LOVE.

Now I am speaking to you from my personal experience. My soul must have been dormant as I hid my true feelings for so many years. I did feel deeply but kept my thoughts hidden within, and made all my decisions with my mind. And my soul had no choice but to follow… And my spirit laid very still and was buried deep within my heart. So deep I did not feel its presence.

But then one day on a lonely road in Triune, Tennessee my Heavenly King arrived to set my spirit free. I did not know Him. But I felt His LOVE. It’s a love like no other. It defies all imagination. When you are touched by Him. Your spirit responds and becomes alive. Your heart opens and life takes on new meaning. Everything you see, touch, feel, smell, and hear heightens and becomes rich and vibrant. As if you are seeing the beauty of life for the first time.

As your spirits grow to know this Majestic King you will want to follow Him with every essence of who you are. You will find that your heart, spirit, and soul will be in one accord and want to follow Him to the ends of the earth for eternity.

His passion to love us further than we deserve creates a love story for each of His children. It's a powerful love that has transcended all time and space. As you become comfortable with this new-found life. You will begin to lead with your spirit and soul and then your mind and body will have no choice but to follow.

I have been asked are you a Christian? I find this to be a label that I do not use. But If you are asking if I follow my Heavenly King, the answer is yes… My spirit fell in love with Him the day He set me free.

It's Him, It's always Him.

The answer to the above question lies in my heart. When asked if I am Christian, I say I am Spiritual, and He is now a part of me.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ read more.

The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-8
