Meditation (Jump)

The sea within the sphere holds many secrets. The mystery can be unlocked
if you listen with your soul.  (lg)

For those of you who have been following my journey, you know my meditations sometimes unfold stories that end in some type of lesson. I will set the stage and share this moment from my heart and soul.

I meditate to music. The song I used that day was 852hz Unconditional LOVE by Solfeggio.

I kicked back into a comfortable position in my chair, arms opened and stretched out palms up. As I started to relax in the moment, my mind drifted here.

I found myself standing at the end of a glass floor. Located in space I could see the beauty and feel the quietness that filled the darkness that surrounded me. I could see galaxy’s, planets and stars and the Earth in the distance. She was turning very slowly in a loving rhythm that her Creator placed upon her.

Jesus was floating in space in front of me.  He was dressed in a white robe like I always think of Him...  He looked at me and smiled... and said “jump”. I became fearful, my heart started to race, my palms began to sweat, and tears began to trickle down my cheeks... He said, “Don’t be afraid... I am here ... Do you trust me?” I nodded my head, yes, But I could not move, I felt a weight holding me down. He again said, “Do you trust me???”

Then the image I was watching started to unfold in slow motion ... I began to slowly move into a position much like an Olympic swimmer ready to jump into the water for the race of their life... And again He said, “Do you trust me ??” And on that question, my feet left the platform where I stood... I slowly moved through the air in slow deliberate motion and landed in Jesus’s open arms ...

He wrapped his arms around me and held me safely there for a few moments ...  He then grabbed my arms and slowly removed my arms from around His neck... He pulled away His piercing blue eyes held my sight in a mesmerizing type gaze, And again He said,  “Do you trust me?” With those words, my hands slid down and dropped by my side... And he smiled, with the biggest most amazing smile.

I felt a freedom in my soul and my heartfelt a love that I could not describe. He then offered me His hand to hold. And we began to float through the vastness of space where He pointed to the stars and planets and began to teach me about our universe... and the music the mediation slowly faded. He WOW’s me.

Lesson: TRUST Him

When I shared the moment with a friend, she shared this scripture with me.

Sea of glass is in Revelation. And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire - and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands,” Rev. 15:2.

If you have not tried prayerful meditation. Try it!  You may be amazed at what you might discover.

Meditation

The dance of the jellyfish. Beauty, grace and a peaceful
a moment in time can set your mood for the entire day.

Meditate is found in the King James Version 14 times.

Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.

The Bible often speaks about the value of meditation in the Spirit. It places the focus of meditation on the word of God before the act of prayer.

In my journey meditation just happened. It was something that was not planned. Because truly I had no former knowledge on the subject. Or why this practice was even something people even enjoyed.
It’s a practice that just evolved into a place where I could go to God with no preconception or judgment. I could discuss anything that was transpiring in my life. However, I can say the time spent in prayer with Him has been nothing short of amazing. I have found peace, I have found love and I have found answers to many of my questions.

In my search to know more about this path, God had placed me on. And also having a desire to ensure that everything I did, was in-line with His teachings. I questioned and researched everything and meditation was no different.

This was indeed a challenging time, as I knew very little about God, and this spiritual walk I was now on. I would say, I was getting my information in bits and pieces and doing my best to put things together in my own head.

I found many mixed opinions on mediation. Some love it, some are skeptical, some merely do not understand. Some have pointed out it is not a Christian practice, and maybe I should talk to my pastor. And that's ok.

I can only speak from my heart and my experience. I have researched and found many scriptures in the Bible that support meditation.
The only significant point is that you start your meditation in God’s word. Meditation has broadened my prayer life and has helped me grow spiritually. I have been asked what steps I take when I meditate.

First, let me set the stage for my meditation escape. I do not sit in any pretzel position nor do I chant any rituals. I sit in a comfortable lazy boy chair. Kick it back. Use a warm blanket. Burn frankincense incense. I use earbuds and listen to music that speaks to my soul...

Once I am ready, I start by praying, breathing, and relaxing. I soon find that sweet spot before I drift into a deep sleep. There is where a story seems to unfold ... These stories have actually fed my heart and soul. Once the story finishes unfolding, I immediately sit up and write down my experience.

Here is one example of one of my many meditations.

Meditation 8:45

I stumbled across a meditation for healing the body. My thought, "I have no complaints" But then I thought my heartstill carries a scar.

So, I settled in made myself comfortable, and listened to the narrator. And my mind’s eye brought me here.

I was laying down on a soft comfortable bed. My arms were stretched out as wide as they would allow. My palms were open facing upward. My feet were crossed at the ankle.

I was drifting into a subconscious peaceful state of mind. When my chest began to open slowly. A radiating light began to illuminate softly from my chest. The light carried flecks of sparkles that began to float upward. I could see my heart.

It was not my human heart, but it appeared to look like an artist's rendition of a 3-dimensional deep red heart. My heart started to open as well, allowing light and flecks to join the existing light. They seemed to join this illuminating dance upward. When my heart opened fully a white dove appeared and in slow motion began to fly upward within this amazing light.

There was peaceful freedom felt.  This vision lasted for a short while. I felt a peace in my heart and love in my soul, and the mediation ended.

Lesson: The Holy Spirit will free your soul. Thus, giving you an indescribable Peace in your heart. Knowing that God is now holding the cause of your heartache in his hands and will handle it from here.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditate day and night." ... "Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word." Psalms 119:148, KJV.

And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare, and two cubits were the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same. Ex 37:25 KJV

I will meditate on all Your work And muse on Your deeds. Psalms 77:12

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law, he meditates day and night.". Psalms 1:2

Oil

"The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:5, NIV:

The most common word for "oil" in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word Shemen. It occurs 192 times.

The most common usage of oil in the Bible was to symbolize the Holy Spirit. It was used to portray the blessings of God and his power. Oil was used to anoint the sick, leaders, and as a blessing when Jesus washed the disciples' feet and rubbed them with oil.

Oil a golden sweet rich commodity. What made it so precious? Its value has been appreciated for centuries. It was traded, it was consumed, it was used for anointing, it has been used to light lamps to chase away the darkness, it has been used to adorn beauties in biblical times... it has healing properties.

There were several oils used but it seems the most popular oil was olive oil. It carries symbolism throughout the Bible and is still utilized today. The fruit of the olive tree is crushed at a high intensity to squeeze out this valued golden liquid. I did a further investigation to find our body is made up of an oil substance as well. It keeps our bodies well lubricated and assists our immune system and plays a significant part in keeping us healthy.

So, when I look at this precious liquid. I see it as a beautiful product that God has produced to sustain life.  My word study seems to always bring me back in time. Jesus was very much like the beautiful olive tree. He gave us His best fruits. He was crushed and bruised and this precious life-sustaining product (oil) flowed to cleanse our lives.

However, its value is like no other. This gift is truly priceless!! The thought of His sacrifice crushes the very fiber of my existence. It’s a gift that I can never adequately repay. I can only love Him far beyond my own understanding. It’s a love that grows on such a spiritual plane many searches for it but thinks it is difficult to find or even understand. It truly is simplistic we make it difficult when we lead with our minds.
I say lead with your heart and soul, and you will find this symbolic oil is a priceless gift from Jesus. when you find Him, your life will never be the same.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

1 John 2:27 “But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him."

First John 2:20 “But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge."

Bold

“You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation.”
Isaiah 12:3

Bold 33 occurrences in 12 translations in the Bible.

Meaning of bold a person, action, or idea) showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous:

Bold??? What is the trait that sets someone apart? It can be seen at various times and settings.  It can be beautiful to witness when it is truly done from the heart... When you are bold you can sometimes feel alone in your stand. Your vulnerability will be shared with the world. How do we take these risks and guard our hearts from ridicule or pain?

Again, my heart placed me in the Bible to find our role models. Here are just a few amazing souls that stepped out in boldness.  Abraham, David, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Daniel, Nehemiah, Peter, James, John, Andrew, Esther, Mary, Mary Magdalene, and a host of others, But of course the most amazing was Jesus. His life was a beautiful BOLD example for all of mankind to follow. However, they all hold a significant commonality ...

When they faced life trials, they had to look deep within themselves and found strength from a LOVE beyond their own comprehension. They could feel the mission in their soul, and as they trusted God the Father, for His strength, His wisdom, His power, and His unfailing LOVE. They accomplished amazing things. Trusting Him is where they received their secret powers. So, hmm

I ask when we wrestle with, how can I do this? What will others think? I do not have the tools? I urge you to dig deep within yourself and pray to your Heavenly Father for guidance... He will be your resources. He will supply you with the tools, and give you the courage to make bold moves. You will feel your strength grow from the LOVE that will fill your heart.

So not only step boldly into who you are but step boldly into who your Heavenly Father knows you can be. Take the risk, growth comes from risk. Do not become stagnate and let fear grip your soul. Life is a beautiful gift and growth is required to live it fully. God will guide you with His heart with His wisdom, and His amazing love. You will emerge stronger and filled with the most inspiring story to share. Once you step out in boldness the new you will be seen as the norm. And hopefully, your story will inspire others to be bold!!

Be Bold in Christ. your strength comes from Him!!

It’s Him, It’s always Him!!!

The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NKJV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. . . Ephesians 3:16 (NKJV)

For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV)

False

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves. MATTHEW 7:15

There are 54 verses about false teachings.

Meaning of false: not true or correct; erroneous: a false statement. uttering or declaring what is untrue: a false witness.

Ok so just WOW… Are any of you feeling like me, on information overload??  There is so much information these days. So many things affecting our peace of mind and daily sleep patterns. No matter where I turn, tv, newspapers, and the web we are on information overload. Yes, we are living in a world of crisis and unprecedented times. Yes, we have a global issue of epic proportions??? It’s called Covid19!! Yes, the president seems to be giving us daily updates? And new stats at every turn.

When I am in information overload, I tune out and TUNE IN so I can catch my breath. I reach for my Bible and try to dive into the word and escape with Jesus. This alone time is where I can regain my sanity. One story leads to another and before you know it, I am in a prayer conversation with the one who gives me peace of mind and soothes my soul ...

I always share with him what is in mind on my heart. So, Today I asked why are there so many people believing everything they hear and see???  It’s very disconcerting?? So many are in panic mode?? When we see the word pandemic in the news? Do we review it with all the sources available?  Do we cross-reference the subject to a comfortable level and come to a conclusion for ourselves and our families?

I would hope the answer is yes.  But what jumps out at me at every turn are the ones that continue to share their thoughts about the end of the world? Rumors of war and end times? Just how do we understand and sift through the glut of so many diverse facts and opinions?

Everyone has their take on what is happening? Many state God has spoken to them? About Politics, Conspiracies, Chemical (germ)warfare! Etc.… They even back it up with scriptures mostly in the book of revelations?  We even have many people that have nothing more than an opinion "LIVE" on Facebook to enlighten us further?  I feel my head is spinning as we speak and it's not from Covid19...

I am of the opinion this is what drives many to panic mode?  I am by no means claiming to be an expert. And LOVE God for giving us insight to our future. But I do know that when I feel a tug in my heart and an unsettling feeling in my soul.

I MUST turn to God and our Savior for answers. I know they will gently walk me through scriptures and speak to my soul. Thus, helping me get a comfort level if the statements are TRUE or FALSE. I began to question, are the news commentaries and articles written lining up with GOD’s word and teachings? They must align with ALL of his teachings, not just one chapter or not just one scripture or not one word. When taken out of contents I feel they can be used to misguided our hearts. I feel that when it aligns with God's word is when the truth will resonate deep within your soul.

So, I urge you to watch, listen, and read everything.  Sift the subject through God’s hands, and his word, let him speak to your soul and help you sift out false rumors before reacting to anything we see and hear.  We do need to stay informed to the best of our ability while staying grounded in Christ to make the very best decision possible as we travel through this life crisis.

Do not be led into panic mode by false teachings. Be diligent in the discovery of facts and pray, pray a lot, have that conversation with God. Conduct your life with your discerning soul.  May peace replace panic. May love replace hate, and may we get through this thing we call life together.  ✌️✝🌎 When you feel you are in overload mode. Tune out and TUNE IN to God's Word, and... Just Breathe!

“Also, at that time, many people will say that they are prophets from God. Their message is false, but many people will believe them.”
Matthew 24:11

“But [on the other hand] the one who prophesies speaks to people for edification [to promote their spiritual growth] and [speaks words of] encouragement [to uphold and advise them concerning the matters of God] and [speaks words of] consolation [to compassionately comfort them].”1 Corinthians 14:3 AMP

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3

Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Music

The Lord gifted the birds to sing a lovely melody to Him early in the morning.(Psalm 147:7)

Music is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. However, I must confess I enjoyed music as a child but as an adult, I did not possess a large collection of music.  I did not have a particular genre or artist that I liked. I do not play an instrument, nor do I sing for public ears to hear... (lol). However, God's plan for me changed so many things in my life including a new-found love of music... Like many of us, I rely on talented men and women to bring the tune, melodies, and lyrics to life.

However, I DO believe that Music is a gift from heaven. My story started when a friend introduced me to her songs where I heard and felt a stirring in my soul of spiritual nature. As she faded from my life ... And with each passing day, my focus became clear, and God began to gently guide me to songs that spoke to my heart and soul delivering thought-provoking messages. I felt a love that I had never experienced before, and this LOVE began to grow... It seems that the music and lyrics began to fuel a spark for God that laid dormant in my heart and soul for a very long time. And that spark became a fire and my relationship with God became alive. Several months ago, my new found loves merged and that blew my soul wide open. That day like many days before I had been listening to a song on my iPhone’s earbuds while writing in my note app.

When suddenly from nowhere my writing began to be my prayer to my Heavenly Father... Then with the music playing something magical happened. I found my communication with God became alive with a passion I did not even know existed. My prayers were no longer flat and robotic. or as I describe them “grey” they were full of vibrant colors and held a love for God that has grown to a beautiful mutual love and understanding.

My prayers are no longer prayers, but indeed they have become conversations. Since that day I have continued to listen to music and write my communication (prayers) with him. I now have over 290+ songs that I have downloaded most within the last 22 months ... To continue my quest for knowledge about the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. And from the gentle nudging of a dear friend, four weeks ago I finally started to open the Bible. And to my excitement and surprise, I found music engrained and travels throughout the pages of the Bible ... Did you know there are over 1150 verses in the Bible that reference a form of the following words, which may be related to music: music. melody. song. hymn. instrument. sound.

As a gift to yourself, I challenge you to try praying to music that moves your soul. You may never be the same. (earbuds and writing your conversations with God is fully recommended) .

“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” Ephesians 5:19 KJV

'I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.' Psalms 104:33

'Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.'
