Protect

The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you. - unknown

Meaning of protect - keep safe from harm or injury:

There seems to be approximately 70 verses in the Bible that speak of protection.

Ouch… How many of us have experienced hurt, or even bodily harm? I think it is safe in saying every human has faced moments in our lifetime. that we have felt we needed protection… We all have experienced that heart-crushing hurt, loneliness, and despair at the hand of another.  We have felt this range of emotions deep within our hearts and have felt those superficial wounds. Many feel the wound may never heal. All seem to leave scars. Many of us learn the art of cleaning, dressing, and healing… But we seem to carry the scars for a lifetime.

But how do we reconcile these hurtful moments while protecting our heart and/or soul???

Color me surprised… There is always seems to be a scripture… Proverbs 4:23… Talk about thinking of everything… This love story we know as the Bible is such a thoughtful gift from our Creator… He blows my mind… How did He know I would be here at this very moment researching the word protect…

I love it when He shows up unannounced. He knows better than anyone how to protect my heart… He gives me that peaceful feeling in my soul even in the darkest of nights… He knows when I need to hide in His loving arms. How did I keep Him at bay for so long?? What a lifetime mistake… Knowing where to run when I need His understanding heart and protection is a heavenly gift… It’s a gift of love that can only come from Him.

I must admit the most difficult task He has is to protect us from ourselves… We are our own worst enemy. We seem to not trust Him enough... We do not realize He has always been there. But are we so busy with life that we miss this gift of wonder? Is it part of our humanistic makeup that we feel we must be independent? We must do this scary thing we call life alone. We are taught it shows strength. Some have difficulty in letting go…

We will all experience trials every day… Many may leave scars. That is life… That is growth… These moments make us who we are...

But if you allow Him, He will protect your heart like no other. He will be that quiet whisper that soothes your soul in the darkest of moments…

We do not seem to let go and immerse ourselves in those precious moments hiding in His love… He is the greatest protector of our hearts and souls… we are all precious to Him…

Well, what are we waiting for don’t miss that lifetime opportunity… They are fleeting and do not come often enough immersing yourself in those precious moments hiding in His love.

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings… Psalms 17:8

It’s Him. It’s always Him... The protector of my heart and soul.

So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23 TPT

The true essence of God’s protection is the eternal indwelling of the Holy Spirit Ephesians 2:21-22

Night

“That is the reason you should always stay awake and be alert because you don’t know the day or the hour when the Bridegroom will appear. Matthew 25:13-15 TPT..

Meaning of night the period of darkness in every twenty-four hours; the time from sunset to sunrise.

I did not see a word count for the word night. However, I will share what I did find. “God created light and separated the light from the darkness, calling light "day" and darkness night. “

The question that haunts my soul is .... are we ready? Or will we be sleeping so soundly that we miss the most amazing moment of our life...

As I sit in the darkness of my empty room I can only see a small light spilling onto the wooden floor... And I began to wonder with great anticipation is this the night? Will I be swept away into the heavens? Who will be chosen? Will my soulful ears hear the footsteps of our Savior? Our beloved King! Or will I be left behind... Will we heed His sweet whispers? Are we constantly refining our senses?  Is our soul preparing us for the days ahead?

I do believe many are yearning to see God's face... Many can’t wait to sit down and talk to Jesus... I have heard many times, I have a list of questions I need to ask Him??  Some speak of the Holy Spirit but are unclear of the role He will play in the future ... He dwells within us ... So am I to assume if I leave this body behind and become a soulful being the Holy Spirit comes too? or where does He go?? As you can see the night clears the busyness of the day ... stillness arrives and many thoughts dance through our heads...

We do have many unknowns? But oh my we have been blessed with many knowns ... As we spend the time with Him day or night we began to see His precious face... We can feel His powerful yet loving presence.. It's overwhelming... Our heartbeat strengthens and we began to yearn for more... more... more of Him.

It’s at this time we began to realize, we may never know the answers to all of our questions... We must focus our desires on Him and Him alone.  Our faith may be tested, our friends and family may question our love... Our curiosity may shift from unanswered questions to a yearning of discovering all the beautiful facets of Him... Some will fall in love with an indescribable unexplainable soulful love for Him.

I find the stillness of night one of the most intimate times of our day. It’s when we can silence our minds and feel Him with our hearts. We can feel the depth of His character and feel the vastness of His love... We grow to know our Creator and our purpose becomes clearer with each passing day.

I believe as He whispers to our soul... He is training His children to react to His voice no matter the time ... day or night... but I ask you, are you using this time wisely? Are you spending the time cultivating your heaven language and refining your senses ... Or are you too busy with earthly things to not be prepared?  Shhh listen.... listen can you hear Him? Do you feel Him stirring in your soul? It’s Him.

I can only hope that I have given my soul the tools to be ready to hear the most important voice we can ever be tuned in to hear ... He promised He will return...  Be watchful for His arrival.. watch day and night...

Be ready ...

I must admit my eyes are getting heavy, and I must get some rest... Goodnight my LOVEs find me in my dreams... That it’s where my soul awaits to hear your sweet voice... It's the most amazing LOVE frequency we can ever experience.

Shh listen with me...

... It's Him. It’s always Him...Feel Him in your soul....

Matthew 25:13 - Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

“It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night.”

Psalms 139:11 TPT

Epistle

When I look at this old beat-up typewriter... I can only hear the beautiful melodic keys and wonder who it belonged to and how many lives it touched with the words of LOVE. (lg)

Meaning of the word epistle one of the letters adopted as books of the New Testament: a liturgical lection usually from one of the New Testament Epistles.  A formal letter

Epistles make up the majority of the Bible’s New Testament. Of the 27 books, 21 are epistles.

A letter is a written message conveyed from one person to another. Is writing a letter a dying art?  Think what is the last letter you have formally written? It used to be the most used method of sharing your thoughts and your heart across the world... These Letters can be formal or informal.

In today’s environment, we use quick notes and short text... It’s quick and all punctuations, salutations, and letter forms... are nonexistent and this is considered normal  ... Even spelling ... who could get by without spell check???

When I began to ponder this word.. my mind went to a time where letters brought messages of love... Possibly a soldier who is far away from home and this letter is his only connection to home... How excited He became to get any news. Some letters even carried a hint of perfume that reminded him of that special love.

When we look at the Bible which during this word study we have determined it’s a beautiful love story written by souls who loved our Heavenly Father, His beautiful son, and the Holy Spirit.

For example, we have Paul who used this art form to teach and to share his knowledge and heart about a greater love. He wrote many letters he had a burning desire to show anyone who would read or listen the direction home.. (into our Fathers loving arms)

So again I ask you? When is the last time you have written a formal letter? When is the last time you have written a love letter? Have we forgotten how?

One of the most known verses is. We love because he first loved us”

(1 John 4:19).  When is the last time you told Him I love you?

So that said, I challenge you to close off the outside world. Turn off your phone, play music that moves your soul... dust off your pen, grab a piece of paper, and pour out your heart and soul to your first LOVE... Write that formal letter let Him know how you feel... I will start ...

Dear LOVEs,

You are my beautiful 3n1.  I love you more than life itself.

Be inspired, and open your heart... Be His beloved...

(tears are allowed)

It's Him. It’s always Him❤!!!!

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.

1 John 4:7-8 -

“Father, Son, and Holy Spirit remind us that there is always more of God than we know, always more of God than we can explain, always more of God than we can show. The Trinity says God is not in a box but is bigger, much bigger than we imagine. God is more powerful than we sometimes want to believe or remember, but in remembering there is great comfort.”  Thomas R. Steagald,

The meaning of 1 - The number 1 represents newness, movement, and the possibilities that await us. In spiritual symbolism, it is the number of creation and the birth of all things -- the divine origin of the universe.

The number one does appear in a significant way but I was unsuccessful in getting a word count for this word...

One of the most mind-boggling concepts for many that study the Bible is the Trinity Himself.

On this amazing journey, that I have been blessed to travel. I have grown to know in this order Elohim, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit... Just who are they? And what is this oneness that they possess?

In the beginning, it was so confusing to me that I actually did ask who should we pray to??  Some said I pray to my Heavenly Father, some say they have an intimate relationship with Jesus therefore they pray to Jesus. A few stated they pray to our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name...The Holy Spirit seemed to be mentioned the least.. or not at all when speaking of prayer.

I am not here to disprove any of the above ways to pray... I can only share how my journey unfolded and how I came to my understanding of my Triune or LOVEs as I lovingly call my 3n1.

Each one of them plays a significant role in our lives... Each is just as important as the other...  They are all part of one deity one mind, one heart, one spiritual being...

I started out by asking so many questions and a family member who has studied the Bible almost her entire life said these words... You are Lori, you are a wife, you are a mother you have many jobs but you are one... Armed with this simplistic logic the pieces began to come together...

Let me preface by saying my Journey started with a Holy Spirit Encounter (at the time I did not know It was Him) so as my journey began to take flight, I began my communication with my amazing Heavenly Father.  I called Him Elohim... I am not sure why but it was that name that spoke to my Heart... It was Elohim to taught me about Jesus.  He showed me His compassion, His depth of love for all mankind... and He taught me that Jesus was indeed a beautiful human facet of God the Father, my Elohim... And then as I traveled deeper into my understanding He seemed to hold my hand and disclosed things one beautiful piece at a time... I spent hours just loving and communicating with Him... I still look back and have trouble understanding how this happened? But feel so blessed that I have had the privilege of knowing Him.

At the beginning of this amazing walk, I asked. I hear many people say they love God the Father, and many love Jesus but I never hear anyone say they love the Holy Spirit ??? Why? And then like always I started my search... And He pointed me to an article that said many love the Holy Spirit but I was too new at this to know this fact ... But as I read this article at the very bottom of the page there is where He surprised me... It said another word for the Trinity is Triune...

And at that moment I was so surprised I was speechless ... Because when I had my spiritual encounter, which happens to be a pivotal moment in my life. I happened to be driving on a country road in Triune, TN... It was a beautiful revelation, the word Triune spoke to my soul... All could say was wow.

My journey unwrapped each one of the facets of God. The facets we all love and admire.

Elohim showed me that each facet of Him is equally important. They are all God. But each one has a different job. Each one relates to us differently... When we need a Father Figure most relate to God the Father... when we need to be held or we need to relate to someone that has walked through what we are experiencing, or we just need to be loved for who we are, we look to His human side Jesus ... And one of the most amazing spiritual experience is the very breath of God we know this facet as the “Holy Spirit” it How God communicates with His Children... I envision the Holy Spirit much like an eternal hotline directly connected to God our Father...  It is the most intimate call you can ever make ...

My journey has been amazing and I do not take credit for what and how He taught me... I can only thank Him and LOVE Him for who He is...

I stand in awe and see Him as one... But I love and relate to each beautiful facet of Him...

It depends on what I need in that given moment who comes... I call them LOVEs because in my heart and soul they are one..  I love each precious facet of Him...and He knows better than me which facet of Him I need to relate to at any given moment...

To add one more mind-blowing thing. The week of my encounter I started addressing this presence I knew was God as “Elohim”... At this time I had little to no religious background and this was a Hebrew word??? I am not of Jewish descent? So why this name? How did this happen?? And then later in my search, I found out this.

Elohim is God in plural? One God that wears many hats ...

It's Him. It’s always been Him...

The one I love, the one who rescued me.. the one who taught me to love Him beyond what my mind can comprehend... He is my 3N1

I am open to Him to relate to me with whatever facet of Him that speaks to my heart and soul... It truly does not matter who comes .. because I love a surprise and deep down I know it’s Him...

I love Him with my heart. I love Him with my Soul... so my mind has no choice but to follow...

He WOWs me 💡👑

Charisma

"Charisma is not so much getting people to like you as getting people to like themselves when you're around." ~ Robert Breault...

Meaning charisma compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others: "she enchanted guests with her charisma.” A divinely conferred power or talent.

The word charisma is not written as such in the Bible... However, this word pointed me to this .. grace or gifts denoting extraordinary powers or favor.

Charisma what is this something extra? Why do some have this extra attraction?  How does this work? We see it in our daily lives when we see the masses fill event stadiums, concerts even churches...

What is the mojo that sets them apart?  They are truly no different than you and me? They have many of the same traits...   I have to believe they have many of the same insecurities, strengths, and desires...

So is this a gift? I do believe we all have many gifts ... But do we cultivate them? Do we refine them with time?  Why were we given them in the first place?  Did we impact our world with our gifts? Or did we make a difference in our intimate circle of friends or family? Will our legacy of life on earth be remembered?

If we are blessed to travel through many chapters of life... We learn many things from people we admire... They seem to have that charisma that something extra if only in our eyes...  I do recognize who they are in my life but as I travel in the present chapter of my life none have had the impact on my life like Elohim, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit... They wrote the book on how to live, and how to love.  They give us hope of a brighter tomorrow for eternity !!! They possess a magnetism that draws us to them like no one else that has ever existed. They have impacted lives since the beginning of time.  They have affected many hearts through the ages... No one else has ever had this lasting power to change lives in such a beautifully inspired way...

So what is the attraction? What is the charisma that draws me to Him like a butterfly to the flame??  I do believe it's His capacity to LOVE us so deeply. His love knows no boundaries... He has a gift of seeing who we truly are... He separates our poor decisions many call them sins... And yes there is a price to pay for what we do and how we conduct our lives... But He sees the beauty and rawness of our soul... and forgives us at that level.. It is difficult to understand His depth and this type of LOVE... but it is part of His Charisma and His beauty. His power of LOVE shines through like nothing I have ever experienced... there is none like Him...  I want nothing better than to sit at His feet and listen to His sweet voice... His gentleness and LOVE have captured my heart... My soul yearns for His favor... It’s His LOVE that is His MOJO...

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

Meaning of MOJO - Mojo is defined as good luck, charm, or skill that seems to come from something magical or supernatural.

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.  Timothy 11 3:17.

Jesus could no longer openly enter the city but was outside in deserted places, and they came to Him from every direction. (Mark 1:45)

It was heard that He was in the house. Immediately many gathered together so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. (Mark 2:1,2)

Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. (Mark 3:20)

Satisfy

So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. John 15:4 TPT...

The meaning of Satisfy is to meet the expectations, needs, or desires of (someone).

The word satisfy is referenced 54 times in the KJV Bible.

Are we ever truly satisfied?? Or are we a gluttonous society ??

Are we happy with our daily lives ??? Or do we find ourselves consumed with looking into other people's lives with envy ?? There are many social media products that are guilty of providing us a peek into other people's unrealistic lives... these artificial creations of what life should be are out of control .. These facades can rob us of our peace as we see our life as less important than our family and friends.  This could result in the possibilities of unwarranted sadness and despair.

Where can we turn to regain our moral compass? Where can we go to satisfy our soul... How can we fill the emptiness in our lives?

It truly is not top-secret... it’s an element that has been available since the beginning of time. It has been such a constant in our world ... never wavering!!! Always kind. Always generous and forgiving!  And above all... always loving!!!

How did we lose touch with such a beautiful soul? He knows us better than we know ourselves!! He knows every intimate detail of our lives... He sees past our scars of life and sees the raw beauty set before Him...

I have found that to be satisfied in this life and beyond, we must completely surrender to His love...For when we feel our Creator's, great love... It will consume our every thought and He will fill our every need... Unexplainable joy will replace emptiness!!!  You will begin to see our world with your spiritual eyes...

It is then you will realize that just to spend time with Him satisfies our souls. However, the hunger to grow in His love will never end... So, there must be that little bit of sweetness that He keeps in reserve to keep us coming back for more... more of Him...  However, I do not believe we will ever be completely satisfied while we are earthly bound...We can fall in love with Him and yearn to know everything about Him.  But our soul will not be completely satisfied until our soul is set free to dance with Him in heavenly places... However, I have discovered that loving Him and spending time with Him is the key to His heart...

I can only wonder if He is satisfied with me?? Am I listening to His sweet voice?  Am I learning the lessons He sets before me? Am I loving Him with all my mind, my body, and soul?  Am I trusting Him? Am I becoming who He knows I can be???  I must admit I am a work in progress... But the good news is He loves me anyway...

It's Him. It's always been Him.

He holds all the answers to all of my questions... In fact, He holds my heart.

“How he satisfies the souls of thirsty ones and fills the hungry with goodness!”Psalms 107:9 TPT

Desire

“God made us to crave—to desire eagerly, want greatly, and long for Him.”  ― Lysa TerKeurst...

Meaning of desire: a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen:

We found 106 verses in the KJB that reference the word desire.

As I started to unfold this word. I tried in my mind to understand the meaning written above with what my heart was whispering…

To me, the word desire goes deeper than just a strong feeling or want. It seems to me to have a romance or passion that accompanies this word. So come with me and let's see where our desires take us.

We seem to have so many earthly wants and desires… Homes, cars, things…. many many things… But we truly must ask ourselves, what is it that we desire? What is the strongest desire in our life ?? How many of our possessions can we take with us ??

When we look to the Bible for answers I found people over time have had strong desires to know God on an intimate level… And then we see and hear in His written word. His desire to love all mankind becomes evident. He desires a bond of everlasting love with every one of His precious children.

But as I studied the many desires in the Bible…I wrestled with this verse for a while.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

What does this mean? If we love Him with all our mind, body, and soul He will grant our desires much like a genie ??

I do believe many people get stuck here and only see their own desires, they want from a worldly heart… I have witnessed many believers feel if they love, worship, and pray...to Him. That the new car will someday be parked in their driveway, or their heart's desire will magically appear.

However, I believe, if we love Him with all of our mind, body, and soul… He will become our strongest desire.. Chasing Him will become as important as the air we breathe. And we will realize that He is the biggest gift we could ever hope to receive.

It's His love and acceptance that we will desire most… We will crave in our soul to linger in His presence for one more stolen moment… He is such a beautiful gift...

If you have been blessed to feel Him stirring in your soul,  you have felt His romance, His passion, and a love that only He possess… Describing it is difficult. He leaves me speechless…

It’s Him. It’s always been Him… Our soul has been programmed since birth to love Him with every part of who we are… Our soul is free to love Him with no boundaries, with no hesitations, and no man-made rules.…  but somewhere as we travel in our life this love seems to slip away and become distant...  But I thank Him for never giving up on us!!!

I say do not get hung up on what others may think or say. I urge you to make Him the center of your life… LOVE Him with the purest intentions and heart …Because as your love grows for Him, your desires will lose their grip on worldly things. Your heart will begin to open and draw you closer to our Heavenly Father.

It’s there that your depth of understanding and our true purpose of why we were even born will be made clear….  Your life here on earth will take on new meaning and your soul will fall in LOVE with our Creator once again. Your life will never be the same...

It’s Him. It’s always been Him that our soul desires.

“I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God.” Psalms 42:1-2

RELENTLESS

Do we listen to God's whispers? Do we feel thought that tug at our heartstrings? Or are we too busy to know it's Him?

I now realize He tried so many times to get my attention and I was way too busy with life to know it was Him... This image was taken by me on January12, 2015... It has no edits. It was captured on church grounds in West Palm Beach, Florida. The quote was mine. I hid behind the GW initials because I was too timid to share.  In 2017 we moved from Florida to Tennessee and that is when I had a Holy Spirit Encounter that rocked my world... And He gave me wings to fly.

It's when I look back, I can see the little hints He was dropping all along the way... I now only wish I would have listened to my heart sooner... Because He has shared the most amazing LOVE I have ever grown to know... It is so difficult to put into words... It's beyond human understanding.

Do not miss those soft whispers... They are not coincidences... He is knocking at the door of our hearts. It's up to us to open it !!

It's Him, He is the most amazing and relentless pursuer of our hearts. It's always been HIM...

Sit

"If you have never known the power of God's love, then maybe it is because you have never asked to know it - I mean really asked, expecting an answer." ~ Frederick Buechner

Meaning of sit - to be or remain in a particular position or state

The word sit is in the Bible 240 times...

As I walked in the meadow behind my house this morning... my heart drifted here...

I can feel and see His majestic splendor. I can feel the warm summer breeze as it gently dances across my skin... I can hear His gentle whispers as the leaves began to slowly fall down from the tallest of trees. They drifted and floated downward until they kissed the green grass that swayed in the soft gentle breeze...

What an amazing moment... do we stop life long enough to savor the beautiful moments He gifts us to enjoy...

Or are we so busy we do not take the time to recognize it’s Him?

I do believe there is something that happens when we sit. When we relax, we close our eyes and clear our mind.... and think of Him...  It's at this very moment, our spirit can feel its God-given freedom ... And we are allowed to meet Him in the deepest places of our mind, body, and soul ... It is there that we can drift to a place of peace and complete surrender.  It is there that we can feel His heavenly love deep within the very essence of who we are...

There is a communion with God on such a spiritual level that your deepest desire is to just sit in His presence... He fills every void we may feel, we can feel a completeness that we unknowingly crave ... As we are immersed in this unconditional LOVE we began to dream of never leaving His side...

But life happens and He knows we can not stay there forever... But it's these glimpses of His heavenly love that keeps us wanting more... more of Him... He tugs at our heart and leaves us with a burning desire in our soul to chase Him for eternity... He is my escape, He is my peace, He is my heavenly love ... its love is like no other...

He Wows me!!!!

Ok, where is the closest chair ??? Sitting and silencing my mind takes on a new meaning ...

It’s Him. it’s always Him
