Circle

"Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were.  The life of a person is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves." ~ Black Elk..

The meaning of circle: A round plane figure whose boundary (the circumference) consists of points equidistant from a fixed point (the center). A group of people with shared professions, interests, or acquaintances. Move all the way around (someone or something), especially more than once.

The word circle is in the Bible approximately 7 times.

As I studied this circular word. I kept hearing the Lion King lyrics dance in my head. Here are just a few lines I thought were interesting.

From the day we arrive on the planet
In the circle of life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
'Til we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of life

What is the circle of life?? How broadly does it go? Does it ever end?

Have you ever given that any thought? Who were we before we were born? A special child-like spirit in God's Kingdom? We are His children? So where do we reside before we are born?

The vastness of these thoughts will always puzzle our human mind. We will always have many unanswered questions while we are held captive in our human state. But let’s try to step out of our human restraints and become spiritual thinkers.

I will share my thoughts, I do believe we start our existence as a spiritual child of God. He loves each one of His children. He made us so we could experience life on earth. So on that pivotal day on the calendar, we call our birthday.  He gently whispers in our ear go my beloved child. Go to your earthly parents and show the world who you are. You are my bright shining star. Make your mark and live a beautiful life. And as that child leaves for his or her earthly destination. A tear rolls down our Creator's face because He knows He will miss His Child with all His heart and can only watch us grow from a distance. He knows the many trials we will need to face to learn and grow. He has promised to never leave us.

However, as we grow our parents will love us. They will be there for all our successes and trials. Our memory of our heavenly Father seems to take a distant place in our memory. The days slip away, as each year passes.  As we become seasoned adults, life continues to travel by more rapidly with each waking moment. And as we grow some will become curious and search for answers about their heritage in heaven. They will feel their Heavenly Father's presence. Some will be late bloomers. Some may not search at all which is a sad thought.

But what happens when we are nearing the end of what we know as life on earth.. ?? Do we return to God's open arms as His spiritual Child. Do we come full circle? Is this the circle of life… If so, the circle of life must be spiritual in nature. Because the life we know on earth has an expiration date. But our souls will feel that pull to return to our first love.

It's Him, It's always Him!

When we are given the gift of coming full circle. We will know in our hearts and will appreciate where we came from, where we have been, where we are.. and who we have become… It’s a gift from our heavenly Father. To be soulfully loved beyond our human understanding. Coming full circle is not a physical location but a beautiful spiritual journey of life.

.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7

God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes, and see how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. Worship God if you want the best; worship opens doors to all his goodness. Psalm 34:7-9

He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness Job 26:10

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle on the face of the deep Proverbs 8:27

“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Mark 13:32

Foundation

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

The meaning of foundation the lowest load-bearing part of a building, typically below ground level: An underlying basis or principle: “this idea is the foundation”

The word foundation can be found in 61 Bible verses.

Building a foundation can be such a metaphoric task. Throughout my journey, I have said I had no religious background I have no foundation.

I had been given a spiritual gift that had me flying at 10,000 feet and at record speeds... It was the most amazing and scary feeling I have ever experienced. I was in such unfamiliar territory. Truly mind-boggling.

There were times it literally took my breath away. It poured out a love that I could not contain. It gave me the desire to worship? Something I had never experienced before...
I was one of the most unprepared humans I know. I had no idea what my future days would be??   I could feel this intense love, I could feel this beauty, I could feel this wonderment for life... But what was this? Who was this? And why me entered my mind many times...

I found myself in a constant state of chasing answers to many questions... I had a craving in my soul to know more...  and piece by piece I began to find my footing.

My heavenly connection began to point me in the direction I needed to go. And They guided me giving me clues, people, and the tools I needed to begin building my foundation. Which will one day I pray will have stairs that will lead me to Heaven?

In my walk, I have learned a valuable lesson... As we travel through this life... We can not leave our souls behind we must build our spiritual foundation to truly be complete.  Our life here on earth is like a vapor in time...

But our souls are eternal. We need to build a solid foundation on the firm trusted rock we know as our Savior. We need to build that foundation that leads us to the greatest love ever known to mankind... Because that is where our true treasure lies... It’s Him He is the foundation of Life. He is the air we breathe. He is LOVE.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

“Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.” Luke 6:47-48 NASB1995

The Bible says the New Jerusalem created by God will have twelve foundations, with each one shining a different kind of light based on a particular precious stone  (Revelation 21:19).

The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[a] 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

Tomorrow

Tell that someone that you love, Just what you're thinking of..
Just in case tomorrow never comes.

The meaning of tomorrow: the day after today.

The word tomorrow appears approximately 67 times.

This word is a word that can affect many things and how we react to them.

We all know that no matter what we face today there is always the promise of a brighter tomorrow especially when we are in the dark of night...  I like to think that is why God gave us a beautiful sunrise each morning as a reminder.

But the word tomorrow has me a little concerned. What is it about human behavior that we put things off until tomorrow??  Do we escape the inevitable? Do procrastinate because we find better things to do ?? Or are we happy being complacent?? Or do we think that time is not important and that we have plenty of it to squander and still get by?

Do we get caught in the web of deception? Do we forget what is truly important? Do we put it off until tomorrow??

I do believe.. we need to live life like there is no tomorrow. We need to put value in what is important!! We need to show love today because tomorrow may be a fleeting moment that may never happen for some of us !!

Now since this is a Bible word study how does tomorrow affect the Book?? Is it sitting on the shelf waiting for tomorrow?  Is your pursuit of a greater love waiting for a new day? Have you placed Jesus on the shelf next to Elf on a shelf?  And only take them out at Christmas?

I ask you do you know where you will be if your tomorrow never comes??? Accidents do happen. Life is fragile.. will it happen to you?

I do believe in our amazing Father's promise of a brighter tomorrow. You see if you take action today and take that dusty book off the shelf. If you pursue that greater Love with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind... Jesus will come alive in your thoughts, in your heart, and in your soul..  And with Him in your life, all your tomorrow’s will be brighter than any of your today’s.

I do love His promises.  His love brightens my yesterdays, my today’s, and I look forward to all my tomorrows. Because with Him, all things are possible.

It’s Him. It's always Him.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

“Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”” James 4:13-15 NASB1995

Love beyond boundaries

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8

Love beyond boundaries

It wounded my heart when life put the line in the sand.

We see our family and friends but we can not touch.

We must keep our distance?

Where did these cherished moments go?

They have slipped through our fingers like shifting sand.

Are these memories just a dream or is this our new norm?

Was this love just a vapor in time?

Did this love even exist?

How can we love beyond these man-made boundaries?

How do we get back to the human touch?

How do we find the LOVE that was stolen by the fear of living?

We can not stay in our high tower We need to touch, We need to hug. we need to catch our breath.. We need to feel human once again.

Life without love leaves a void in our souls.

It leaves a scar deep within our hearts...

To be complete, we must love beyond boundaries.

There is no distance or time that can ever remove the memories that we have made.

It's a personal gift to each man, woman, and child!

It's a LOVE of humanity that must never be bound.

Love beyond boundaries! Love like there is no tomorrow.

Help me break down the walls and let our souls love beyond this life.

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'  44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,  45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?  47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?  48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:44-48

Meditation / Be Lit

Let your light shine before men, that. they may see your good works, and. glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16..

Meditation moment shared from my heart.

The room was cold and dimly lit. I settled into my zero gravity chair and covered with a warm blanket. I tried to settle my thoughts. I began to breathe in a few short breaths and let them out slowly...

In my mind's eye, I found myself in a cathedral sitting in a pew.

When suddenly Jesus appeared from the ceiling floating down slowly into the room. He softly landed and walked to me. He reached for my hand and led me and I followed.  We came to a rooftop like setting. We could see a dark city. He held my hand and we floated to a place where we were standing on a glass floor. We could see the dark city below.

He began to point His finger to the buildings below. As He pointed at the window, a light began to spill out a warm glow. He pointed to another window, and again a light began to spill out a warm glow. He did this several times. I felt like he was showing me that His light was indeed reaching souls.

He smiled. And then He held my hand and slowly walked to a bench just a few steps away. We sat down. I snuggled in close and suddenly I felt a rushing but gentle wind behind me, and these giant white wings appeared they seemed to be coming from His back. They opened fully I could see the delicate feathers.. the softness and beauty they seem to reach at least 6 feet on either side... I seem to be unafraid, I seemed to be at peace like this was a normal everyday occurrence.

I placed my hand on his chest and my head on His shoulder.. and His wings and His arms wrapped me into the most beautiful loving moment in time... we lingered there for a while.

and then suddenly I was there alone.

I walked to the middle of the glass floor... I raised my arms palms up.. with my head looked upward,  and there I stood, and this thought crossed my mind...There are still so many dark windows...

And just as soon as that thought crossed my mind.  I could see windows being lit some shining bright some just showing a small flicker in darkness ... The image stayed for a few seconds as the music played, and then the moment faded and the music ended.

I can only pray that if you read this, Your flicker turns into a flame 🔥.

Be kind, Be loved, Be Lit !

"The angel of the Lord appears to Hager. The angel speaks as God in the first person, and in verse 13 Hagar identifies "the LORD that spake unto her" as "Thou God seest me. Genesis 16:7-14

“And before the throne, there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”

Revelation 4:6, 8 KJV

Triune Loves me / Podcast / Episode 12

Does our love have limitations? Do we judge? Or are we just scared? Are we too busy to stop and see the love that is right in front of our faces? There are times we seem to miss the obvious.  There are so many souls in need of love, compassion, and kindness.

God shows us the perfect example of how to love with no boundaries. You may say that it is easy for Him, He is God.  Many may feel that way.  However,  when we reach out with love it speaks volumes to our own souls.  When we let fear stand in the way of love. We are the ones missing His beautiful message of love to all mankind...  I say teach us how to love like you.
Don't miss the obvious, if you do it's you who will lose.

How many times in the Bible does it say to love one another?
This commandment appears thirteen times in twelve verses in the New Testament.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34

Vigilant

  • ·       “A drowning man cannot be saved until he is utterly exhausted and ceases to make the slightest effort to save himself.”

Meaning of vigilant: keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties.

The word vigilant appears in the Bible approximately 11 times.

Are we a product of our own selfishness? Have we taken our eye off the ball?? Are we asleep at the wheel? Are we complacent?

What and who are we chasing? Are we taking others with us? Or does our quest to be bigger and better leave us void of substance?

I do feel when life gets rocky, many do not know where to go for answers. They struggle, They withdraw, and retreat to a darkness that will eventually consume their very existence

There is a dark presence in our world. I won’t mention any names. Because I do not want to give him any attention or fan fair. But most know His name, many dances with him on a daily basis. He prowls in the darkness just waiting for you…Lerking for his prey.

Is that scary ??? It should be ??

But what can we do? Can we stand the heat? or will we burn in the flames?  The question becomes how do we combat the evil forces in our world and become victorious?

I say since this is a Bible word study let's examine the scripture for clues. In Ephesians 6:13 it states.

“Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”

But what does that mean ??

It means we are at war daily. And we must be vigilant in our quest to chase our inheritance. We must chase and maintain our spiritual place within God's army. He is the only presence that possesses the power and strength to fight the evil in our world.  It is also written that He will fight our battles and also win the war.

I can hear in my soul… Rise up. Be vigilant… And stay as close as you can to the Father. It is there that we are loved, It is there we are safe. It is their His light will shine with such an intensity the darkness will have no choice but to flee.

    Its Him, Its always Him

    The Whole Armor of God

10  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11  Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:11-18

Root

“It is in the roots, not the branches, that a tree's greatest strength lies.” ..

Meaning of root: the part of a plant which attaches it to the ground or to a support, typically underground, conveying water and nourishment to the rest of the plant via numerous branches and fibers:

There are approximately 61 verses in the Bible that refer to the word root.

The word root goes deep..The root system searches for water and nutrients to sustain life and to stabilize its canopy.  But what and how do we relate to this word without being a gardener or a farmer?

I believe it is proven we are all are much like that tiny seed... Without proper conditions, we could never have a life... The seedlings need tender care. When I examined this word I could not help but think of our Creator.

How did He think of such detail?  The seed is just a seed without God’s intervention. But even the tiniest seed needs to break the outer skin of its shell to grow roots to sustain life.

I do believe nature holds many clues and parallels of how the life cycle actually works. When we examine people we say the word root does not pertain to people.  And if you study a tree and a person side by side you would be correct. We have no physical root system. But we do have spiritual roots that go deeper and further back in time that we could even begin to imagine.

And much like the tree, our quest in life is to search for the nutrients that will allow us to sustain a stable canopy and bear fruit.  I have seen many accomplish this on the surface.  But their root system does not penetrate the earth to get that deeper spiritual nutrition that our Creator offers.

Those are the ones that can not survive the lashing of any strong wind or storm... Did you know that roots can be so strong they can actually penetrate rock? Think about that last statement for just a moment. We often hear God is my ”Rock”.  If we can look past the physical and look with spiritual eyes.  We could begin to envision our spiritual roots penetrating the strength of the rock. Where He can stabilize us to grow a beautiful canopy... Now what is the purpose of the beautiful canopy? Perhaps to shade others? Perhaps to beautify the surrounding area? But once we live out our life what is left? The true and real purpose for each creation is to bear fruit and multiply.

So I ask are your spiritual roots only on the surface? Do they search for God's nutrients by spending time with Him and His word? Do you feed your spiritual soul? Do you shade others? Do you stand there for others to admire your shallow assistance? Or do you bear the most beautiful fruit that will become your testimony of life for future generations??  He is much like a gardener and we are the seed.  Singularly we bear fruit but must together we have the ability to become a purposeful harvest. He is the nutritional value our souls crave.

It's Him, It's always Him!

Job 14:7-9

“For there is hope for a tree,

When it is cut down, that it will sprout again,

And its shoots will not fail.

“Though its roots grow old in the ground

And its stump dies in the dry soil,

At the scent of water, it will flourish

And put forth sprigs like a plant.

“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law, he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.”

Psalms 1:1-3 NASB1995

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19 KJV

Remnant

"Time is short. The world is at the brink of eternity. Right now we have the greatest opportunity to rise up and take the victory of the cross to the last corners of this earth. The Lord Jesus is graciously calling a remnant to the joys of simple obedience. For those who respond, I believe there is an opportunity right now to share in the last great move of God before Christ returns." ~ K.P. Yohannan

Meaning of remnant: a small remaining quantity of something.

There are approximately 69 verses in the Bible referencing the word remanent.

Remnant such a curious word. When I think of the word remnant a small piece of material comes to mind? A leftover...  Some people have not learned the art of repurposing things that are small or insignificant or they do not have the vision to see how it can become a bigger better product.

But where does the word remanent fit in the big picture we know as the Bible? When you look past the pages and feel this word... Our heritage has been playing out since the beginning of time...

There have been those who never wavered. They have listened to our Creator. They have loved Him beyond the understanding of our world. They trusted Him! They trusted His word! They have loved and carried His legacy to the next generation. In every generation throughout our history, there have been those few that have listened and loved Him. These souls have been scattered to the four corners of our world. Many have continued to teach their children about this amazing love. They have never stopped their journey towards the greatest love they have ever known... But it’s with a sad heart that I must say I feel there are many that do know this love. They do not care to know it. They have lost the opportunity by turning their back on the most amazing love they could ever know.

We must look into our hearts and ask ourselves. Are we remnants of a tribe where His blood has flowed? Are we set apart as His children? I do believe His followers may be small in number. But I believe we are all remnants of a much bigger picture ... There is a power that is achieved when His love brings these remnants together. He will make the most amazing beautiful spiritual tapestry the world has ever known.

It’s Him, It’s always Him!!

But now for a brief moment grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage. Ezra 9:8

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name John 1:12
