Look

  • Something deep in all of us yearns for God's beauty, and we can find it no matter where we are. ...

Meaning of look: an act of directing one's gaze in order to see someone or something.

The word 'look' appears 322 times in the NIV, 153 in the KJV.

How do we look but do not see? What is it we are looking for in this life? Are we searching to fill a void in our soul... Many push through but are not satisfied with what they see or who they have become... There is a hunger, a thirst, and a desire that can not be quenched!  When we look with our human frailties we will never truly see the answer.

It’s not until we tap into our soul and truly look for God will we see His beauty, His grace, and the fullness of His love... It is everything you have been told and more.   It is that missing piece of ourselves that can only be filled by our Creator... So why is it that we do not look for Him on a consistent basis?  Many have studied the word. Many go to church for answers... Many never cross over from the mind to the spirit.

When you open our hearts and your spiritual eyes. A beautiful transformation begins.  We begin to see Him in everything in our world and beyond.. You will begin to see His fingerprints embedded deep within every line, every stroke, every crevice ... We just need to retrain our brain to lead with our soul and look for His clues... He has left them everywhere!! I truly adore discovering them ... It warms my soul and brings tears of joy that fall softly upon my face.

I challenge you to start by looking in a mirror... Who do you see? Do you see the miracle before you? Do you see His mystery? Do you see His creation? I do believe many of us take Him and our miracle of life for granted. Many only look to Him when it’s convenient. Or when we hit life milestones, or feel pain in our hearts, or a just simple celebration of the holidays occur. I pray that starting today we open our hearts and souls and train ourselves to look for Him at the start of each new glorious day... Look and appreciate His many wonders... Do you ever imagine what it will be like when we look upon His face??

Close your eyes and open your soul and look for Him with your spirit... Tell me what do you see? I will share what my mind's eye has seen in many of my meditations... I have gazed into His eyes, I  have witnessed His beautiful smile, His chestnut brown hair...He is there,  He alive within...  He lives within our hearts.. and His stirring can be felt in our soul... Never stop looking for Him... He is the answer!  He is the love you have been searching for... He is the peace that will engulf your soul... He is Heaven on earth.  JUST LOOK.....

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

Favor

"Humility is the gateway into the grace and the favor of God." ~ Harold J. Warner -

Meaning of favor: feel or show approval or preference for:

In the King James Version of the Bible, the word "favor" occurs 117 times.

Favor what does this word “favor” truly mean? God’s favor ?? Is this status obtainable in our lifetime ??  Do we rack up points by accomplishing good deeds? Personally, I believe it goes much deeper... How do we understand and measure up to His standards? Does He expect too much from us? Do we even recognize it’s His favor? What is it that speaks to our souls ?? What makes us yearn to hear or feel that we are in God's favor or His good graces?

Being in God”s favor what an amazingly splendid place to be!! Can we just sit here and soak in His presence and feel His LOVE !! That in itself is in my opinion to feel His favor... And on that note, I can only say “WOW”...

“So yes being in His Favor is obtainable? Deeds can help if they are executed with kindness, love, and from a pure and unselfish heart. Search your heart. “ What is your motive ?”

I believe If we conduct our lives with the goal of being in His “Favor”... We will grow. We will change... We will become better humans. But I believe,  We have missed the true and pure meaning of being in His Favor... It’s a special gift from our Heavenly Father our King. Unfortunately, not all of us will acquire the qualifications required.

His favor can not be bought or sold. He gives it freely to the humble, pure, loving hearts... I believe we can recognize His favor because it is delicately wrapped in His beautiful love..

You will be so close you will hear His whispers of love in the depths of your soul.

Unfortunately, there are those who fall short in seeing His blessings as a favor and they do not give credit where credit is truly due!! Some are so self-absorbed they miss seeing the gift. His Favor truly is a heartfelt wonder of a spiritual undying love. If you are blessed enough to find His Favor.. hold on to it tightly.. cherish it and behold its beauty.

It’s Him,  It’s always Him.

“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”

Psalms 5:12 KJV

Him

If this world was made by a triune God, relationships of love are what life is really all about.

Timothy Keller...

Meaning of Him: used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to a male person or animal previously mentioned or easily identified.

"his wife survived him". Himself.

The word Him is in the KJV 5,465 Instances. Wow, but that does not surprise me.

For those of you who have joined in on our enlightened word study. You have come to the realization that I end most of these posts with the statement It’s Him, It's always Him. Some will think in their heart of God the Father. Others will think of Jesus, and yet others will think of the Holy Spirit. I do believe there is no wrong answer. Most will think of the dominant one of the Trinity. The one they relate to or spend the most time with.

For me when I speak of Him, They are one... They are one in my mind, one in my heart, and one in my soul... During this amazing journey of discovery of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit it became crystal clear. He is all... It is Him. He is ONE.

I do believe there are some that struggle with this concept. Because I know I did, I found it confusing. I even asked, Who do we pray to? But I feel they slowly opened my heart, my soul, and then my eyes, to an enlightened spiritual understanding.

I personally find His ability to be everything to everyone, A major part of His beauty. His willingness to love those that seek Him is such an amazing gift. It does not matter who you are or where you have been, or what you have become. He loves you without boundaries. Without judgment. Without self motives… It's pure, It's light, it's beyond our earthly understanding.

When we seek Him it will be for different reasons? It will be at different times in our daily lives. It will depend on where we are in our lives, which facet of Him you will see, feel, or hear.

Again I do not claim to be a scholar or to have all the answers, I can only share from my experience and my heart. When I look for deep wisdom or unconditional love I seek my Heavenly Father.

When I feel lost or need a friend, or just need to be loved on a spiritual level or if I feel my life’s struggle is beyond my capability I find Jesus. He relates to life as a man who walked the earth.  He has been loved unconditionally by our Heavenly Father and has felt the intimate sorrows and victories that life can bring. He knows how it feels and can soothe our souls.

And lastly but equally as important the Holy Spirit. He is our confidant, our teacher, our friend He brings God, and Jesus alive in our souls. He is the very essence of God's breath… They are so beautiful and intricately woven. Their bond of love is the most powerful bond in all the heavens and earth... And they willingly open their hearts to anyone that seeks their face, anywhere anytime, and in any circumstance.

I call them LOVEs… Because I see ONE LOVE. A love that transcends all time and space.  So when I use the words LOVEs or Him. Know that to me they are all-inclusive they are my Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I love the ONEness of Him.

It's Him. It's always HIM.

“In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.”

John 1:4 AMPC

“And you are in Him, made full and having come to the fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].”

Colossians 2:10 AMPC

Fidelity

"Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose." ~ Helen Keller

Meaning of Fidelity faithfulness to a person, cause, or belief, demonstrated by continuing loyalty and support.

The word Fidelity is in the Bible approximately  21 times.

Let’s be honest do we use this word very often in our daily lives? I do not hear it, do you?

However, I find it sad when our world uses a variation of this word. And it’s unfortunate that it is used way too often! It can be devastating and cause great scars on the heart...

I also find it strange how I see the word...

The word “In” added to today’s word truly changes it completely. It would seem to me if someone was “in” fidelity this state it would be a good thing? ... but surprisingly that is not the case.. Infidelity or adultery is one of the most frequently and severely condemned sins in the Bible. Adultery is mentioned 52 times, and fidelity is only mentioned 21 times.

I have tasted life long enough to see both the beauty and the devastation both of these words can cause... I will admit, I myself have had few scars hidden in my soul caused by the ugly “in" word.

It is truly interesting when I look back to that time in my life. God had me in His care and brought me through a difficult time even when I did not know it was Him.  His fidelity for His children is staggering. And I love Him for keeping me in His care during that life trial. He has proven to me that victory can be found in His unwavering LOVE. He is all “in” ... He is “in” love with His creations... He abides “in” me ...

He is the true example of Fidelity. His loyalty has been taken for granted by many of us. We seem to look for Him when things are dark or become difficult to handle... I had to search my heart and ask,  have I been loyal to the one who has never let me down? Have I been loyal to the one who has loved me unconditionally since the beginning of time?

Then It made me wonder do I possess that fidelity trait toward Him?  Or do I only look for Him when it’s convenient? Or when I hit my knees in anguish? I can only say like many of us, I am still a work in progress...  And pray that now that my heart has a new appreciation for Him and for who He truly is,  that my loyalty will never wavier.

It’s Him, Its always Him.

Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commands. Deuteronomy 7:9

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalms 23:3

And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.” Matthew 19:9

365 Words / A Bible Word Study

It's not about how much you do, but how much love you put into what you do that counts.” Mother Teresa

Today Dec. 14, 2020, marks the anniversary of a one-year commitment. My friend Joann and I embarked on an incredible adventure. We decided to crack open the Bible one word, and one day at a time. It has proven to be an amazing ride with Elohim, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. It has opened our eyes, our hearts, and our souls.

When Covid tried slamming the door for us to share with others. I started a blog. Triune LOVEs me. To date, we have 15,802 views! That blows my mind..

We studied one word a day, the meaning, the scriptures, and then I would craft a written post from our findings, our sharing of thoughts, and my heart.

If you have found the time to stop by thank you!

Joann, thank you for the memories. WE DID IT !!

Exposed

“The only way you can reach your full potential is if you open up and allow your self to be exposed to how you really feel.” ― Turcois Ominek

Meaning of exposed: open to view: not shielded or protected

The word exposed is in the Bible approximately 74 times

When we expose our true raw feelings to the world it can be a difficult, heartfelt task. We share and then hold our breath. We sometimes start to second guess ourselves ...

But then we ask ourselves what is our motive? Why are we opening our hearts for possible rejection, ridicule, or negative comments?

I can only speak from experience... God gave me a story to share... and not sharing His story would grieve His soul... and that would wound my heart for longer than I care to even imagine.

As I began to study this word my mind drifted to my youngest grandchild.  She is such a refreshing delight... But the one thing I have discovered about children they do not hold back they will tell you what’s in their heart and on their mind.. without any filter..  even if it scares, hurts, or makes you laugh... and then they let it go .. without another thought.

So what happens as adults? And why do we find it difficult to talk openly about so many subjects? Subjects like God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. This subject makes many uneasy? Or uncomfortable. Some engage willingly and it brings joy to their soul, some run.  The conversation about our Creator should be as natural as enjoying a beautiful breakfast or taking a shower.  But it is not. So many hide, many do not talk of the most important relationship in our lives.

The ones that bravely step out and open their hearts and souls. Take that chance, but they do feel exposed and have moments of insecurity.. they feel vulnerable.. a word I have grown to respect.

But there is a beauty in exposing one's true self if you can share the greatest love to anyone willing to listen ... It is like taking a deep breath of fresh air into your congested lungs.  Your heart becomes lighter and your soul feels freedom like never before. I find it’s much like childbirth... there are pain and suffering but when they lay that beautiful child in your arms, and you look upon their tiny beautiful face... the pain and suffering becomes a faint memory and soon fades from existence... He heals our hearts, He loves us through the pain ... He loves us far beyond our imaginations!

He has exposed hearts with His love since the beginning of time... it’s what we do with this love that matters most...

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-15

So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtakes you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. John 12:35 ESV

Committed

- Jerry Falwell

Love is a commitment; love is a relationship that never gives up.

The Meaning of committed: feeling dedication and loyalty to a cause, activity, or job; wholeheartedly dedicated.

There are approximately 89 verses in the Bible about commitment.

The word brought me to tears… Because my mind went to Jesus, and the last words he uttered in our world.

In Luke: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise" (in response to one of the two thieves crucified next to him) "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit"

He came to earth with a mission. He came to teach us about life and love. He wanted to instill values that would free our spirits and help make where we live a paradise. However, it seems that we can never get it right… Some do… Some try… and others still turn their backs… And that breaks my heart…

I have had the beautiful experience of getting to know Them The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Together they are a beautiful loving work of art. They carry so much depth I am afraid I will never get to know everything about them in this lifetime.  I have felt His love deep in my soul… And I know without any hesitation that He has committed to LOVE us further than we can earn or deserve.

What can we do to show you we are committed to growing this love you have given us? We ask you, "What can we do?"  "Can we read our Bible every day?" "Can we go to church on Sunday?" "Can we volunteer?" "Can we help others?" "Can I forgive my fellowmen?" Can we love..... others.

You have given us so much, tell us what can we do to show you we are committed??

All the actions above are wonderful and should be part of our daily lives. However, they are not the answer He is searching for.… We must love God with all our hearts, all our minds, and all of our souls. If we can accomplish this, all the above actions will come naturally without thought or price. I can say from experience loving Him is truly one of the easiest, most rewarding, loving experience you will ever encounter …

Many will read this and say what about Jesus and the Holy Spirit?

I can only share what is in my heart. They are my 3N1… I call them LOVEs… and that my friend is for The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit… Because they are all one in my heart, my mind, and my soul… And yes commitment takes work, time, and effort. But I must say the rewards are heavenly.

And for those of you that are still not ready to make that type of long-term commitment.

I do think Jesus will say again, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”  Because He gave His life as a commitment to the world, His Father, and you! He committed to always love you. And nothing in Heaven and on earth will stop His Love... Now that is a WOW commitment !!

He will never give up on you!!

It's Him, It's always Him.

"And I will leave you with these parting words. A long-term commitment to LOVE Him can be a beautiful journey… Why wait, dive into His Love today your life will never be the same.

‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your  strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 1 John 4:20

And may your hearts be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decree and obey his commands, as at this time.”1 Kings 8:61

“But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy.”Ephesians 2:4 TPT

Determined

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. - James 1:12

Meaning of determined:  having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it:

Determined is in approximately 22 verses in the Bible.

As I tried to understand the meaning of the word determined the more determined I became to pursue the answer to what is it that makes someone determined to achieve any goal in life? Is it a personality trait? Is it something that is taught to us by our parents? Or do our life trials affect our drive, strength, and determination? I do believe all of them can affect how we respond to a goal set before us.  We all have many goals that we try to achieve as we travel through this life.

So, how does the word determined to affect our spiritual walk? Are we determined to know our Heavenly Father? Are we determined to grow in His word? Are we determined to build a relationship with Jesus? Are we determined to understand the role of the Holy Spirit?

I can only draw from my own experience.  Many of you that have followed me know I had a significant Holy Spirit experience. I say His love rocked my world. On that day He turned me upside down, inside out, and gently placed me on my feet, and said go… And I did, with each passing day I became more determined to know more about my Heavenly Father, His beautiful Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. My desire and determination grew as I discovered the many wonders of His Love, His gentleness, and His grace.

However, as I peeled back this word that has so much power, so much drive, so much focus. I began to realize a beautiful revelation, and I don’t understand why I did not see this before? He is such a master of intrigue, such a master of gently guiding us. It was Him all along. From the moment He was born His mission was determined by His Father, there was no space for error. He was hyper-focused and met the goal set before Him… It did not matter how hard it was. It did not matter how much pain and agony He had to suffer... He never let His determination waver.

He was determined to set my spirit free. He was determined to lead me gently home one day at a time.   He was determined to love me beyond this life. He had claims on my life since the beginning of time.  Who is this power? Who has this kind of stamina that they never give up? Who is so determined to LOVE me that He will move Heaven and Earth to prove His love?

It's Him, Oh My God… It's always Him.

“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”

Psalms 27:4 KJV

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1 KJV
