Jesus

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

The meaning of the name Jesus is derived from the Hebrew name Yeshua/Y'shua., which is based on the Semitic root y-š-ʕ (Hebrew: ישע), meaning "to deliver; to rescue."

Simple search in the KJV shows the name Jesus is used approximately 983 times in the New Testament.

We started a Bible word study 351days ago. We have successfully completed one word a day since December 14, 2019. We have danced through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelations. We have listened, read, and studied many scriptures and verses. They all try to gently teach us of the beautiful man with a Heavenly connection. This connection goes deeper than anyone on earth can even begin to fully understand. Many

of us have difficulty in understanding the Trinity and how they so beautifully tie and work together.

I do believe God tried to teach the many tribes of ancient times. Very few listened. Very few learned the lessons, very few obeyed. So, He felt it necessary to come to earth and live among us. I think this was for 3 major reasons. 1. To see for Himself if what He was asking of us was indeed attainable 2. To teach us how to live and how to love. 3. And the most important reason of all is because of His love for each one of His children.

Just think we are loved so passionately by the one that created all the heavens and earth. His love is beyond words. I have discovered that the greatest lesson in this masterpiece written to guide us called the Bible is His LOVE. He has proven He will go to any lengths to take care of the ones He loves. He will go from birth to death to prove His undying love for each of us.

Something happened to me 26 months ago that opened my heart and placed a fire in my soul to discover as much as I can about this amazing Heavenly man that earthly men and women call Jesus.

As a child, His given Hebrew name was Yahshua. The name became  Jesus came after it was translated from its original language. Jesus was placed gently in His earthly mother's womb with a mission. He came with a hard-fast agenda from His Father.  His mission was to rescue us from ourselves.

He willingly gave us His entire life. Do you ever wonder why we do not know many facts about Jesus the young boy? Did we even rob Him of His childhood? And then as He traveled through the Master’s plan He found Himself in one of the most horrific acts possible. When I think of this monumental moment on the cross, it wounds my soul and makes my heart bleed.  How could we do this to this beautiful gentle soul? His mission was of peace, He was sent because of love.

He never said I don’t want to do this find someone else I will just come back to my heavenly home… NO, He knew in His Heart the only chance His children would have for redemption is to follow through with His plan. When we look at His life how are we not humbled? How are we not in awe of the very mention of His name? I do know He has returned to His rightful place with the Trinity. Our amazing Father, His Beautiful Son, and God's very breath we know as the Holy Spirit.

Together they are our 3 in 1… They speak to our hearts and intercede in our lives daily. They offer us a love that has transcended time and space. It truly is the greatest love story ever told.

He must have shouted out on that faithful day. Earth to Heaven…

Mission accomplished… put a log on the fire I am coming home! WOW what a celebration there must have been in Heaven!! He must have had the biggest hug from His Father.. as his Father gently whispered in his ear welcome Home my Son, I love you; with you, I am well pleased."

It's Him, It's always Him.

“You are the most beautiful man that there is. You speak words of grace. God has made you special forever.”

Psalms 45:2 EASY

“For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:2 KJV.

“Serve and worship the awe-inspiring God. Recognize his greatness and bow before him, trembling with reverence in his presence. Fall facedown before him and kiss the Son before his anger is roused against you. Remember that his wrath can be quickly kindled! But many blessings are waiting for all who turn aside to hide themselves in him!”
Psalms 2:11-12 TPT

Celestial

Eclipse of the light of heaven, eclipse of God - such indeed is the character of the historic hour through which the world is now passing.      Martin Buber

The meaning of celestial: Heavenly; belonging or relating to heaven; dwelling in heaven; as celestial spirits; celestial joys. Hence the word conveys the idea of superior excellence, delight, purity. Belonging to the upper regions, or visible heaven; as celestial signs; the celestial globe. Descending from heaven; like a suit of celestial armor.

The word celestial seems to appear in 12 occurrences in 8 translations of the Bible.

Boy did I ever have my head in the clouds when looking at this word. I knew the word had something to do with stars. Even perhaps star gazing… So, I was very surprised at the above meaning of this amazing word. It is so rich with meaning it goes further than the eye can see.

It refers to all of the Heavenly locations, and to those that dwell in it. But in my search, I found this word does not speak of our Heavenly Father or Jesus His Son. It speaks of angels, spirits, and things that are spiritual in nature.

To wrap my head around this word is truly is going to take some soul searching and spiritual guidance. I do believe there is a spiritual world that exists in heaven and here on earth. Some celestial beings are good and pure.. Some have fallen from God's grace. We are caught in the middle of a war.. We are in a tug-a-war between them for our hearts. We may not see it with our human eye. Some of us may have already chosen a side… Some of us may dance on that fine line between the worlds.

As I look around, I see many speaking of things to happen in our future. Some say we should be scared? Some say it is written. Some say it is unfolding right before our eyes.  They say be afraid. Some say fear not.

I do see these as challenging times. I see them as unpredictable. I see people speculating. Some are saying they have a message from God.

So much information. It can be overwhelming. Who do we believe? Where do we go for comfort?

I do not have the answers. I am not a Bible scholar… I am a fairly new believer and I too am trying to find my way. But I do feel I have been on a fast track of learning about His fascinating LOVE and how we play a part in His master plan. I can say without fear or hesitation I have grown to know the love of our Heavenly Father. He has made it clear His Son is our ticket home. He is a loving, forgiving, and always available presence in our lives. I can only urge you to find Him, Love Him, and stay close to Him and His protection. It truly is our only chance to share in His victory no matter when and how it is achieved.

It’s is a physical and spiritual world, and He is the God of all.

It's Him, It's always Him…

He will fight for your heart. But when you give Him your heart willingly is when you will find the most amazing response from Him… It’s an unexplainable rush of love that will engulf your soul.

It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body 1 Corinthians 44

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial,  but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

There is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

“Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”

Help

Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you.― Mother Teresa  -

Meaning of help: Make it easier for (someone) to do something by offering one's services or resources." they helped her with domestic chores". The action of helping someone to do something; assistance.

The concept of 'help' is mentioned 284 times in The Bible, with the word itself being mentioned 213 times. 50 of these mentions are in the Psalms.

When I look at the word help… It is such a small word that can have such an amazing impact. The question that comes to my mind is, am I a giver or a taker? I can only pray to God that I am a giver… I do believe we all have our moments… It becomes what side of the scale does our heart fall … Taker or Giver? When we study a taker, they do seem to get ahead faster,  they do seem to have all the trappings life has to offer. But are they truly fulfilled with what is truly important or are they a hollow existence of human life? I think the word trappings, sums it up in one word.

But when I see a giver, I see amazing unselfishness. One that puts someone’s needs before their own. I see a beauty that radiates from within. I see a peaceful heart. They demonstrate humility while knowing that they are centered on what is truly important in life. They find personal joy in seeing that smile on someone else’s face.

When we find ourselves in trouble or in need of assistance, where do we turn? Do we turn to a selfish heart? Or do we run to the unselfish one? The ones that will hold our hand and open their heart.

I can say it has been my observation that when the taker comes to a place in life when they hit rock bottom… due to illness or they are spiritually weak or alone. Many have hit their knees and have asked the greatest, unselfish heart I know for HELP…. To help them find out what’s important in life before it’s too late.

I must say, His beauty, humility, and unselfish heart are beyond my human understanding. He welcomes all hearts with open arms.

If we look at His life we can see what the meaning of life truly is all about. It’s about LOVE, It’s about giving of ourselves, It’s about family. It’s about friends, It’s about leaving this world better than we found it… We should open our hearts and remove all obstacles that hold us hostage to a selfish life. And chase the gift of freedom to LOVE Him and others beyond our own understanding.

He will help us be centered on what is truly important in life.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

Blindness

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”  “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. Hellen Keller

Blindness definition, the inability to see; the condition of having severely impaired or absolutely no sense of sight.

Blindness is in the Bible approximately 50 times.

Our eyes and our vision is a precious marvelous gift they open the window to our mind. Where we record images faster than any camera shutter speed.. and our mind files the image for future use.

But what happens when our vision is taken away... Can we see? Or are we thrust into darkness and feel a void??

I can not speak to what a blind person feels... But I can speak of spiritual blindness.

I am sure you have heard the eyes are the window to the soul?  What does that truly mean?  Because I do not use my physical sight to soulfully see... as a matter of fact when I see and feel with my soul my eyes are closed. And I see images within my mind.

You probably think this is a strange statement?? Let me share my thoughts.. Most likely if you are reading my thoughts you either are a lover of Christ or you are a curious soul. So I will ask you a question.. When I speak to you of Christ do you physically see Him standing before you? I would be safe to say probably not. But now close your eyes and think of Christ what do you see? what do you feel?  He is there! You are seeing Him with your spiritual sight!  I do believe our physical sight can be taken away but our spiritual sight will remain with us through eternity.   Now that we touched on my feelings of spiritual sight.

I need to share an important part of seeing.. it has been proven that in order to see being it physically or spiritually we need light..to remain in darkness is to carry a void in knowledge understanding and life. So where does our spiritual light come from??  Oh my for those of you who follow me you know where I am going...

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

He is the light of our hearts and souls... It’s His light that speaks to the very essence of our souls and is guiding us to become everything He knows I can be.

He WOWs me

“Hear now this, oh foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears and hear not.” Jeremiah 5:21

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 KJV

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 KJV

Fall

I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me Proverbs 8:17 NIV

Meaning of fall: to move downward, typically rapidly and freely without control, from a higher to a lower level. The season of the year between summer and winter, during which the weather becomes cooler and many plants become dormant, extending in the Northern Hemisphere from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and popularly considered to include the months of September, October, and November; fall.

"Fall" – is mentioned in 41 books and occurs 237 times in the Bible.

Fall leaves mark the beauty of change.  Transitions can be amazing.  Like in everything in life. It’s how you embrace and view the changes. Nature can be such a wonderful teacher.  Watch with an open heart and see the beauty unfold right before your eyes. God has blessed us with so much beauty in our world. But many of us have become so distracted with issues that we have a tendency to forget where we came from!

As beautiful as fall can be that is not where this word landed in my heart. I landed on that beautiful four-word LOVE. What makes us fall in love? Is it a physical attraction? Or does it go deeper? Is it an understanding between minds? Or is it a spiritual gift from God? The Bible teaches us that God is LOVE. So, If we are made in “Their” image as the Bible states should we conclude we are also made of Love.

How is it we have drifted from our true purpose? How have we lost focus? How do we return to the pure innocents of loving without judging, or without being set apart? Just pure love from the deepest chambers of our hearts. It’s a love that frees our souls. It's an unencumbered feeling of joy, It sometimes is difficult to describe and/or execute.

I do believe, it happens when we are willing to open our hearts and relinquish the earthly ties that bind our souls. It’s at that time our spirit will feel that intimacy, with the power of a love that has been apart of our DNA since conception.  It started when we were knitted together in our mother’s womb. He left His imprint of love on our hearts.

So, when I hear the word fall, I see the beauty of His imprint on everything I see and touch. I hear Him in every new baby's cry. I feel His presence in the gentle wind as it blows across my skin.  And I fall in love with my Creator just a little more each day. I appreciate His creative mind.  I love seeing His artistry at every turn. He has taken such loving pains in creating our world, and our lives.

He loves us all with an untainted, pure innocence of loving without judgment. He has made claims on our hearts before we were born.

He offers a love like no other.

But the question becomes are we ready? Are we ready to open our hearts and relinquish all earthly ties that bind our souls? Are we ready to fall in love with our Creator? Our first love. I promise you, your life will take on new meaning. You will find a new and refreshed purpose. Your life's imprint will be activated… And it’s there and then you will find the true essence of your soul.

He is the miracle of life and love.

It's Him, It's always Him!!

Dear friends, let us love one another because love is from God and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love John 4:7-8

There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. John 4:18

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud…it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139

Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and overall the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1:26

Soft

A memorable heart is the easiest way to immortality.

Meaning of soft: having a pleasing quality involving a subtle effect or contrast rather than a sharp definition

The word soft seems to appear in the Bible approximately 40 times.

It has been my observation that many in our society relate to the word soft as a flaw or weakness?  Many see and idolize power as greatness. Do we have our sense of value skewed?

I do believe life can place many things in our path that began to build layers on our hearts in hopes to protect us from harm.

We may become guarded and sometimes even bitter.

However, I have found in challenging and difficult times we search out and find comfort with someone who can share an understanding ear, and tender heart, and a soft place to fall.

These are special souls that are a gift from God. Yes, we can find these souls among the people here’s on earth... But I have found the one that has captured my heart and given me a soft place to fall above anything and anyone I have ever known...

He meets my every need. He never fails me. He has my best interest at heart. He is willing to listen 365 days a year day or night.

I can tell you He has given me a love that defies all human imagination. He is my mentor. He is my confidant. He is my light source. He fills my soul with a peace that settles my troubled Heart.. He is my first love...and He has given me a promise to love me for eternity.

He is power, He is grace. He is my soft place to fall in our unpredictable world.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

He is a gift from God!! I call Him Yeshua, the King of my heart.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

Honey

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams. Ashley Smith –

The Meaning of Honey is a sweet syrupy substance produced by honeybees from the nectar of flowers and used by humans as a sweetener and a spread. Honey is comprised of 17-20% water, 76-80% glucose, and fructose, pollen, wax, and mineral salts. Its composition and color is dependent upon the type of flower that supplies the nectar.

There are 61 passages about honey in the Bible.

Honey is such a sweet delicate substance that can nourish the body. Did you know it contains medical healing properties? It can be a fascinating subject to study. How is this golden substance made? What type of mind planned this amazing colony of nature? From the bee to the flower to hive .. the process is a work of art.

Honey has been a staple of life for over 9,000 years.

The Master had a plan. Everything in our world and existence has been masterfully planned with a purpose. Each species has a place in this beautiful plan of life. How can we not stand there in awe when we examine the beauty that surrounds our lives.  Do we not see it? Do we not understand? Are we too busy?

If we could just stop, look with an open heart, and listen with the ears of our soul… We could truly see the artistry of our Master’s hands. We could appreciate the delicate care He has taken with every wonder put before us.

There were many verses to examine in the Bible that pointed us to the word honey. But the one that kept buzzing in my ear was Psalms 119:103. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

This Bible word study has opened my heart to a love sweeter and more delicate than the golden miracle it takes a colony of hard-working bees to produce. It’s a love that we sometimes take for granted. Until the day comes that we hear the buzzing in our ear to come, come child listen to my voice… See the beauty in the golden splendor of life I am offering. Taste the sweetest love you will ever know. I say come!

It's Him, It's always Him.

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! KJV Psalms 119:103

Eat honey, my son, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to your taste. Proverbs 24;13

Know that wisdom is sweet for your soul. If you find it, there is a future for you, and your hope will never be cut off. Proverbs 24”14

Pleasant words [are as] a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 -

Hunger

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.

John 6:33-35

The meaning of hunger: have a strong desire or craving for

The word hunger is in the Bible approximately 75 times.

Hunger such an appropriate word especially when Thanksgiving is only a few days away. Many of us are searching for those recipes that bring back memories of old. We began to make a shopping list and discussing our headcount. Unfortunately, the CDC has tried to help with those decisions this year. Many of us are mad, some of us are disheartened… Some of us are so disillusioned with life itself.

My heart is heavy for those who have lost sight or their way.

Have you ever found yourself standing in front of the refrigerator with a blank stare saying I don’t know what I feel like eating ?? Many of us have that same look as we cover our faces to protect ourselves from harm.

As difficult as things may seem. I must admit, there is a hunger, that I have found difficult to quench. But there is good news. There is no mask required. There are no limits on how many can come.  Actually, the more the merrier. As you find this hunger you will find your purpose. You will find peace. You will find a love like nothing you have ever experienced.

It’s a hunger that will change every aspect of your life. It’s a hunger of the soul.

If you let this hunger be your guide you will be filled with joy and happiness that will radiate from within.  You will be a part of a private party with one of the most incredible souls we could ever grow to know.  His presentation is beyond words. The place setting is pure white and beautifully accented with gold. He adorns the table with amazing flowers that He lovingly created.  The room will be filled with the aroma of love. The room will have a warm glow coming from His amazing light.

Oh my… Why don’t we crave Him? He is the LIFE….of the party and all of our dreams.  No one can stop His love.

It's Him, It's always Him.

I for one am thankful for my family, my friends, and for the hunger, He has placed within my soul. He WOWs me!

Table for 2 this way….

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35
