The importance of what we leave behind is truly not the tangible objects, but what is woven into the hearts of others. ❤️

Legacy in its basic meaning, a legacy is a gift, money, or other personal property that's granted by the terms of a will-often a substantial gift that needs to be properly managed.

There are approximately 33 Verses about legacy in the Bible.....

Legacy is a word that I feel is not discussed until the inevitable happens... It is mostly thought of when someone we love transitions to another dimension of time and space we know as heaven. 

Let’s ask ourselves today? What are we leaving behind? How will I be remembered? Will I make a mark on this planet? What do my family and friends truly think of me?  Is our legacy a tangible object? Are our "things" truly that important? Or is our personal character and loving memories the most valuable asset we can leave? 

I have witnessed in my lifetime that "things" become important to some people, some may have not truly even cared while you were here on earth... However, there are those with a sentimental heart that love deeply and want that item to feel a closeness to the person they can no longer touch... 

Have we thought this through on a larger scale? Or on a spiritual scale? We have been gifted a legacy of magnificent proportions! It’s a legacy of royalty... It’s a legacy of riches beyond physical "things" it’s a legacy of love that runs through our lives like a scarlet thread... This beautiful scarlet thread runs through our life’s tapestry deeper than we even realize. Jesus is our legacy! He has given us a promise of eternal life!! His love is a love that will leave you speechless!!! 

With Him as a beautiful guide, I ask myself... How do I want to be remembered? What am I leaving behind? Will I leave a mark on anyone’s heart? 

I can only pray that I will be remembered... As someone that found the love of God and that He lovingly changed my heart and showed the world my vulnerability.  He taught me the importance of relationships and the importance of loving beyond my own understanding!!! I hope when people talk about my legacy they only need 2 words to describe it  “Gods LOVE” because I know in my heart He is teaching me every day about a greater LOVE. 

He is my legacy!! But the good news, He is also yours... His legacy is an amazing LOVE Story !! Don’t miss it for the world!
