Passover

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace
among those with whom he is pleased!
Luke 2:14
Passover is mentioned twenty-eight times Pesach (Passover).

Meaning of Passover:  a major Jewish spring festival which commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery, lasting seven or eight days from the 15th day of Nisan.

Passover hmm, in my life I have heard of Passover so many times but to my dismay, I never had the interest until now to understand its significance, traditions, and its symbolism.  I grew up in a predominately Jewish neighborhood and had the opportunity to have the knowledge but did not seem to have the interest.

My interest has grown with my spiritual walk and interest in Jesus Christ. God the Father introduced me to Him many months ago. Sadly, I knew of Jesus, but did I really know Him? I knew His story at a high level but to truly understand the beauty of His life I needed to look deeper. So, with my quest to know about The Man, The Son of God, The Savior of the world, and the one who has significantly touched my heart with an amazing LOVE. I began to study Him one word, one scripture, one day at a time.

Let me start with my thought on today’s word “Passover”.
If I break it down, I see the word Pass meaning to go by and over to skip by something? So, then I start to study the basics. Passover is a celebration over the Israelites redemption from slavery in Egypt.  Jews are descendants of two of the Israelite tribes: Judah and Benjamin, plus a considerable part of a third, the priestly tribe of Levi.

Passover is a month of joy and one of the four traditional beginnings of the Jewish calendar year.  Jesus was an Israelite because of his earthly parents, His Mother Mary, and his adoptive father Joseph.  He grew up with these Jewish traditions as part of his earthly heritage.  There is a vast amount of information and history to understand.  However, I will attempt to simplify my thoughts for the reason of my readers.

The Seder is based on many biblical scriptures that can be found in Exodus 12:3-11 describes the meal of lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs which the Israelites ate just prior to the Exodus. In addition, three separate passages in Exodus (12:26-27, 13:8, and 13:14) and one in Deuteronomy (6:20-21) it’s the duty of parents to tell the story of the Exodus to their children.

The Seder is a focal point of this Jewish tradition and the first two nights of the Passover. The word Seder literally means “order,” and the Passover Seder has 15 separate steps in its traditional order.  The Seder’s Ritual Objects are:
matzah, the zeroa (shank bone), egg, bitter herbs, charoset paste, and karpas vegetable.  There are also traditional songs, prayers, and worship. Each item has its own function and symbolic meaning.

Although this tradition was filled with symbolism my mind tries to understand how it relates to Jesus. It is part of His heritage. However, like many things in the Bible, everything amazingly ties together, and everything points to Jesus. Passover is no different. In the Seder, there are several strong symbols of Christ.  I could study this to eternity and never really know everything. But when we truly LOVE someone, we try to learn about them by spending time with them.  We study their nature, their history, their likes, and dislikes.

So, I urge you do not “Passover” any opportunity to know Him. all of Him. He will open your heart to a world of wonder that you will find hard to contain.

It’s Him, It’s always Him!!

I stand in awe.

“You shall tell your son on that day, saying, ‘It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’”
Exodus 13:8 NASB

"And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer" Luke 22:15

Burden

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

The word "burden" occurs 71 times in the King James Version of the Bible.

Burden(noun) that which is borne with labor or difficulty; that which is grievous, wearisome, or oppressive.

Take this cup from me??? There are times we just want it to go away? I just cannot do it? Life can bring many mountains for us to climb. Many seas for us to cross.  And many souls that are searching to be saved? How many of us allow our daily burdens to consume our souls, rob our peace, and suck the breath of life from our very existence. Is our spirit broken? Do we hide in the depths of despair? Or do we fight?  I do believe as humans at times we go through a range of all the above. And those burdens can be some of our greatest challenges.

They can also be our greatest victories. We have all witnessed this type of miraculous strength sometimes in our life. It may even be you!!  To witness the fighting spirit of man is an amazing event to see. It can take a soul from the depths of despair to becoming a victorious inspiring human. But where and how does this strength manifest?? When we are faced with insurmountable discomfort, despair, or heart-crushing life trials.

It is when we become raw and find our true selves. It can place us at a crossroads or at an all-time low. So, it’s when we reach deep within and find we had a lifeline living within!! Wait for a Lifeline? What is this? A strength? This LIFELINE has the ability to soothe our wounds, wipe our tears, and will hold our hands as we stand and began to rebuild a foundation that will place our feet on the rock of victory. Where, who, and how can we find this amazing wisdom, strength, and tenderness?

It’s Him, It’s always Him

He has proven through the ages and through every believer’s heart that yes, He is there through all of our life’s trials from the overwhelming to the most insignificant. He is willing to lighten our burden, He has also offered to take it completely. This is a beautiful gift for a brighter tomorrow.

My LIFELINE! WOWs me!!
Be victorious, call on Jesus he is ready, willing, and able!

Jesus 🆘✝

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Getaway with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 MSG

Lamb

 "The Tenderhearted Lamb"

Lamb appears in the King James version 107 times, in the NKJ 104 times, NIV 104 times

In the bible the lamb symbolizes death being the wages of sin. Before Jesus died for everybody’s sins there were a lot of lambs that were sacrificed.

The sacrificial Lamb. I understand the significance of the Lamb in the Bible at a high level, "The result of sin was death." So, in my journey of discovering more detail.  A dear friend found me a sheep farm to visit. I held a beautiful two-week-old baby lamb. So, bringing what I discovered and trying to apply the thoughts Biblically my heart went here. When I think of a baby animal being put to death for the sin of another. It wounds my soul and I do not fully understand the death of an innocent creature for a person who could not control their own desires and actions...

These beautiful baby lambs are known for their white coats. The color white is a symbol of purity and cleanliness. They are also known for being gentle and kind creatures. I found articles that supported that they are also highly intelligent and are capable of problem-solving. They possess great memories, communication skills, and can express different emotions. They have flocking instincts, and as adults will stay in maternal groups for life.

To further wound my soul passages in the Bible support Jesus being described like this in John 1:29 “Behold the Lamb of God” who takes away the sin of the world! So, I ask you was this because of his similar character? Or did this go far deeper than even they knew at the time?? The prophecy in Isaiah 53:7 says that “He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter”. This had already been prophesied and God was watching it unfold... as well as living out the moment.

The depth of this goes further than even we can humanly understand.  I ask “Could anyone of us knowing of our impending death and suffering still proceed to save someone??? Or would we bail?? In our limited understanding of this, I can only think as a parent.  And ask myself could I do this for my child?  I could only pray I would have the strength and the fortitude to handle this in such a brave peaceful loving manner.

But I am afraid fear may grip my soul?  And the question becomes, could I complete the task at hand??? Or would I crumble? When we ask ourselves those questions? We can truly recognize what Jesus did for us because of love, it is such a monumental gift from our Heavenly Father.  There are no words that can adequately thank him enough for this beautiful sacrificial Lamb or the pain and suffering He endured for all of mankind ...

So, then we question how do we try to repay this debt? I think this is a good place to start. Believe in Him, Live according to his word, and love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

John1:29
The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Revelation 17:14 "These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful."

Bold

“You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation.”
Isaiah 12:3

Bold 33 occurrences in 12 translations in the Bible.

Meaning of bold a person, action, or idea) showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous:

Bold??? What is the trait that sets someone apart? It can be seen at various times and settings.  It can be beautiful to witness when it is truly done from the heart... When you are bold you can sometimes feel alone in your stand. Your vulnerability will be shared with the world. How do we take these risks and guard our hearts from ridicule or pain?

Again, my heart placed me in the Bible to find our role models. Here are just a few amazing souls that stepped out in boldness.  Abraham, David, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Daniel, Nehemiah, Peter, James, John, Andrew, Esther, Mary, Mary Magdalene, and a host of others, But of course the most amazing was Jesus. His life was a beautiful BOLD example for all of mankind to follow. However, they all hold a significant commonality ...

When they faced life trials, they had to look deep within themselves and found strength from a LOVE beyond their own comprehension. They could feel the mission in their soul, and as they trusted God the Father, for His strength, His wisdom, His power, and His unfailing LOVE. They accomplished amazing things. Trusting Him is where they received their secret powers. So, hmm

I ask when we wrestle with, how can I do this? What will others think? I do not have the tools? I urge you to dig deep within yourself and pray to your Heavenly Father for guidance... He will be your resources. He will supply you with the tools, and give you the courage to make bold moves. You will feel your strength grow from the LOVE that will fill your heart.

So not only step boldly into who you are but step boldly into who your Heavenly Father knows you can be. Take the risk, growth comes from risk. Do not become stagnate and let fear grip your soul. Life is a beautiful gift and growth is required to live it fully. God will guide you with His heart with His wisdom, and His amazing love. You will emerge stronger and filled with the most inspiring story to share. Once you step out in boldness the new you will be seen as the norm. And hopefully, your story will inspire others to be bold!!

Be Bold in Christ. your strength comes from Him!!

It’s Him, It’s always Him!!!

The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NKJV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. . . Ephesians 3:16 (NKJV)

For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV)

Innocent

Innocent is used in the Bible 39 times.

Innocent meaning not responsible for or directly involved in an event yet suffering its consequences:

Have you ever been falsely accused?  Have you ever felt the unjust treatment from another? Were you indeed innocent? Or guilty as charged?

As a society, we are quick to point a finger or blame someone else for our miss guided thoughts or actions.  This can happen from the smallest of gestures to the largest life-altering offense. When we are unjustly accused it can make us feel like a dagger is piercing our heart! It can give us the sensation that our heart actually bleeds. It can crush our souls. It can destroy relationships and or life itself.

I am as sure as the air I breathe that we have all been guilty of being on both sides of this equation at any given time in our lives. We are quick to judge. When truly judging is not our job, it should be left in God’s hands.

I am not sure why but the word innocent, without blame.  To me seems so pure and untainted. And then my thoughts directed me to the Bible to search for answers. This is where Jesus the largest innocent life can be studied. Unfortunately, he lived in a time of an unjust society. They were quick to blame because of their lack of understanding of who he truly was? Or did they feel his majestic presence?

However, it seems that they had ulterior motives. Were they so power-hungry? Were they frightened of how his presence would affect their status in the eyes of other men? Indeed, they were guilty of laying blame on the innocent life of Jesus. They did this to manipulate society due to their own lack of internal substance and/or fears.

What was his horrific offense? Guilty of loving us too much?? Guilty of teaching us the rewards of living a virtuous life? Guilty of miracles? Guilty of speaking about our creator?  I ask, “How did this happen?” Would this happen again today?  We would probably say of course not? We are more civilized, we are better equipped to understand! I would like to think it would never happen again? But I am afraid it still does! There are those that are afraid to embrace Him! There are those who only seek him when they need something? There are those that do not love him enough? This pierces my heart and wounds, my soul, as I am sure it does His as well.

I confess I am Not innocent! I am guilty as charged of seeking and loving Him.  However, I do feel there are those that will question this? Some will turn away or judge me, due to their own fears and/or lack of knowledge or understanding.  And that is ok because my judge lives in heaven.

So, I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself do I love the one who gave me life? Do I love his Son, Jesus?  Do I believe? The questions then become, are you innocent or guilty as charged? Do you love them enough to welcome them in your heart and soul, or do you just wash your hands and move on without further thought? Allowing his spiritual presence to be crucified once again.

Life gives us choices? Innocent or Guilty?

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Matthew 27:24

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. Proverbs 6:16-19

Storm

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”Zephaniah 3:17

The word "storm" is in the King James Version of the Bible 14 times. It is in 13 verses.

Meaning of storm: a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow.

There is such an eerie quiet in the stillness of the night. I can feel a soft subtle breeze across my skin. However, I cannot help feeling the storm that is raging all around me... As the media marks the map where this storm called covid19 rages! It wounds my heart seeing the devastation and the numbers rise like the incoming tide. This wave has crossed borders, infiltrated many countries, states, and cities.

There is no gender, race, nationality, or status preference... Whether or not we want to admit it or not, the human race is finally united.  The strangest thing is It has taken a storm of epic proportions to unite our hearts, our cause, and our call to initiate war against a storm of such destruction. Many ask "Is this a wakeup call from God?"

When I examined God's word for answers. I see many scriptures that document storms and epic events in our history. But as we batten the hatches and trim our sails to weather this raging storm. The scripture that resonates deep within my soul is Matthew 12:30 (31) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘There is no commandment greater than these.”.

So now that God has our attention where is the LOVE? He has never stopped loving us!  He is in each of our homes ... Just listen to His small voice and feel Him in your soul. His LOVE will give us the strength and the LOVE to weather the days ahead... Just open your heart and let Him in ... His unconditional love for you will help you achieve a beautiful balance of mind, body, and soul.

This new-found balance will give us the power and inner strength to stand firm during these turbulent times. Our soul is a precious yet powerful gift from our Heavenly Father. We may not understand the why or who’s life this storm may touch. But I do know that He has designed our souls with a unique strength to rise and fight for us, even in our darkest hour.

The SOUL is where our hidden super power can be found. When you love Him with all your heart and soul, is when your unsettled heart will find a LOVE like no other and your soul will be at peace... No matter the size or the type of storm that may present itself.  Always remember, He is in control and He loves you with the greatest love you will ever know.

It’s Him, It’s always Him!

I pray He keeps you and your families safe. Keep loving!!  Let’s unite and hold each up in prayer. We pray to heal the sick, give us the strength to endure this life crisis.  Please mend the brokenness and fear of your children. Father, we need you!! Please listen to our hearts.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah." Psalm 46:1-3 (KJV)

"Apple of My Eye "Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings." —Psalm 17:8.
“In the day when I cried out, you answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalms 138:3

Holy Spirit

Of the modern English translations of the Bible, it is only the King James Version of the Bible which uses the term “Holy Ghost.” It occurs 90 times in the KJV. The term “Holy Spirit” occurs 7 times in the KJV.

Meaning of the Holy Spirit: (in Christianity) the third person of the Trinity; God as spiritually active in the world.

The Holy Spirit is such a large word to undertake! I can only share what is in my heart. This amazing journey that I have been on, has taught me many things over the past 24 months. In this time, my understanding of the Holy Spirit has grown since He touched my soul in May 2018. When this happened, I was such a newbie to this spiritual world I did not even recognize it was Him?? From that moment my prayer life opened, and I addressed all my communications (Prayers) to (Elohim) God the Father.  But soon I was introduced to Jesus... And they both soon became my focus in my spiritual walk. God was my superior parent that guided me and loved me unconditionally and Jesus gave me the relatable human aspect of the two. My friend, brother, and lover of my soul. So many things to understand and my thirst for knowledge of them brought me to this question.

I hear others say they fell in love with God the father, some say they have fallen in love with Jesus the son.  But I never hear anyone say, I fell in love with the Holy Spirit?? Why not?? And like many of my questions, I went on a quest for answers?? When I did, I was so surprised to find that many people indeed have fallen in love with the Holy Spirit??  I was just too new to the subject matter to know these facts??

As I grew to understand and feel Him within my soul. My understanding of the Trinity and the roles they played in my life grew.  As I chased them for answers, I found it interesting that they are all just beautiful facets of God.  We have God our (Creator), God in the flesh, (Jesus), and God the communicator (Holy Spirit).

Each has definite roles. Together they are the Triune of the mind, body, and soul and are alive in many hearts. The day they became one in my mind and heart. I started addressing them as LOVEs. An all-inclusive name for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Together they (He) are the greatest teachers of Love and Life. So when you fall in love with the Holy Spirit, you are just falling in LOVE with a beautiful part of God the Father/Communicator.

My description is how my walk and relationship with the Trinity has evolved and grown.  Everyone's walk is uniquely their own... You may not agree with my description of the Trinity.  But it is based on the journey and the understanding of “God” the Communicator placed in my heart. And yes, you can fall in LOVE with the Holy Spirit... 😍

God inhabits us. He is the flame 🔥 within! His love kisses our soul through the Holy Spirit (God's breath). How could we not fall in love with ALL of Him .... each facet of Him is so precious... They are as important as the air we breathe!!

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

Church

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:20 KJV:

Meaning: a building used for public Christian worship.

The word "church" appears in the Bible (New Testament only) 58 times. "churches" appears (again, New Testament only) 35 times.

As we move and travel in these uncertainties of our now pandemic life? We see our church homes changing right before our eyes. Some are weathering the storm of Covid19 because they have laid down the infrastructure and foundation to embrace the members remotely. I see many different sermons popping up on Sunday.  We can gather in our PJs and watch. The messages are diverse. Which has made me pause and think?

As the uncertainties and fears rise will it be enough? Will the lost be found? Will the thirsty quench their thirst? Will we be spiritually fed? What happens when the web cannot support the glut of bandwidth needed?  We have abandoned many buildings where the people gathered to praise, worship, and found comfort with like-minded members. Will we unite and become a stronger more powerful body of Christ? There is certainly the need for the teachings that Churches offer...

But while we are at this disadvantage of distancing, the realization of who is the church hits home.  The church I speak of cannot be contained. It will not be disrupted by a blackout. It reaches further than Fed Ex, DHL, or your favorite phone service. It can and does deliver worldwide. When fully engaged has the power to move mountains. I do believe as this virus continues to grow more members will join and unite the body of Christ.

The church I speak of resides within every believer. When we gather in unity from every remote corner and living room in the world. To worship and sing praises to our Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, there is a power found that can shake the earth to its core. This church body is recruiting daily.

The benefits are outrageously amazing. You will find love far beyond your own imagination. You will find peace in your soul. You will be protected by the blood of Jesus Christ. The life insurance is good for eternity. You just need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and invite the Holy Spirit into your life.  Be ready for your new assignment.  “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself."Luke 10:27

However, be warned you will need to hold on because from my experience you will be on the most personally exciting spiritual journey of your life... Woo hoo, Destination Heaven.  Don’t be left behind. Get your ticket today.  Ops one more thing if you have any further questions refer to the owner’s manual it’s called the Bible...

Heart

Agape - It's amazing LOVE

The Bible mentions the heart almost 1,000 times. In essence, this is what it says: the heart is that spiritual part of us where our emotions and desires dwell.

The term "HEART" in the Bible usually refers to the central core of a man, the inner person. The "heart" is the way to speak of THE WHOLE PERSON. When the Bible speaks of someone's heart, it is speaking of the inner PERSON. The heart refers to the whole person, including the person’s mind, will, emotions, etc.

The heart is the core of every man woman and child. It is our life source. It carries the richness of life through the blood that pumps through every part of the human body... But we also have a spiritual heart . It’s where our emotions live. it’s where we feel. It’s where our love lives. It’s how we communicate without having to say a word. So, if indeed this is true...

Today my heart is bringing tears of love to God. I am praying for our World, our country, our states, and cities. But mostly for all the people that have touched our individual lives. Our hearts are crying out to our awesome God to comfort the sick, to give the strength and wisdom to our government, care workers, and our families. Please help expedite supplies needed, may no one needs not to be met. These are such heart-crushing and unprecedented times...

For our own safety, we have had to separate and spend time alone in our own protective spaces. Please God know that our hearts are united, and as your children, we are asking that you give us peace in our hearts and let us feel the healing love that only you can give... I am opening my heart and promise to love you with all that I am.

Thank you LOVE for the gift of you. I don’t think we can do this life without you!!!! Our world is hurting. We need a miracle but wait you have given us a miracle, his name is Jesus.  I have spent many hours with Him. He is the most incredible gift you have ever shared with us. He brings us, Hope, He brings us a Love like nothing I have ever known. He gives us the gift of eternal life.  Thank you, LOVE, for the gift of you, your beautiful Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Please open your heart to those that need comfort from fear and to the ones who seek you... LET THEM FEEL YOU IN the deepest chamber of their heart...

It’s them it’s always them.
They WOW me.

Your grateful child,
Me 🆘🌎✝🥰

(for those who do not know I call him LOVE)

“And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.”
Deuteronomy 30:6 KJV

“For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.

When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].” Psalms 27:5, 8 AMP
