Beyond

"God takes us down paths we never want to travel and roads we never want to see, to get us to a place we never want to leave." unknown -

Meaning of beyond the unknown, especially in references to a life after death:

The word beyond in the Bible approximately 264 times.

Beyond is a word that has no end.  Our human mind can only see the horizon. We use words like beyond the horizon but truly we can not see it without some type of magnification assistance.

In my journey, I use the word “ beyond” so many times just trying to describe God.

He is beyond human understanding. He has such a complex presence. His love has transcended time and space. His beauty is such an amazing work of art... His patience with all of mankind is far beyond our comprehension. He is beyond any and everything I have ever imagined.

Who is this Omni persona and How does He meet so many of our needs.  I do not think it is humanly possible to fully understand His vastness. It is beyond our earthly bound thoughts.

I do believe we can grow to know many facets of Him through His word and through communication with Him on a spiritual level...

He truly is a feeling that is beyond anything I have ever experienced in my lifetime. His love is beyond words and is such an amazing gift... There are not enough words in all the languages on earth to describe it fully...

I can only suggest that you step out beyond your own comfort zone.. and open your heart, your mind, and soul and invite Him in... Your life will be transformed. Your life will take on new meaning.  Your relationship with Him will grow beyond what you could ever imagine...

He is the master of our souls and holds the answer to everything!

It’s Him, it’s always Him!!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

Who does great and unsearchable things,

Wonders without number.Job 5:9

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is inscrutable. Isaiah 40:28

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! Romans 11:33-34

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.1 Corinthians 2:11

Pursuing

If you want to know your purpose, Pursue the heart of God and you’ll have a head-on collision with your calling -: Renee Swope -

Meaning of pursuing follow (someone or something) in order to catch or attack them. go after, run after, of a person or way) continue or proceed along (a path or route.)

The word pursues or pursuing is in the KJV of the Bible approximately 27 times.

Pursue to chase. Hmm. Do we have the passion in our hearts to diligently chase things in our lives ??

What leaves this burning hunger to continue the pursuit? It seems this trait in people runs as different as their fingerprints. It’s is a drive that is unique by subject matter and personalities. I have witnessed this trait jump our generational chain.

There are times it becomes a cat and mouse game. We pursue, the ultimate goal.. and as soon as we get near the tables turn and we become the pursued.

As I pursued a better understanding of this cat and mouse game. I turned to the pages of a book that has become my Bible and source for pursuing a better understanding of love and life.  It is a masterpiece and orchestrated by a wonderous soul we know as The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. And I lovingly call them LOVEs.

It's only now that I have come to realize, He has been pursuing me for a lifetime. He has been whispering words of love to my soul, and I have been too distracted with life to hear Him or to even see Him. He had to WOW me to get my attention. It’s a day that is clearly ingrained in my soul.  Something happened that day that sparked a passion in my soul for a renewed excitement for life and love. But how do I explain this spiritual phenomenon?

I clearly did not have sufficient words to ever explain this heavenly gift.

So I had a fire in my soul to discover more … To do this I have to pursue answers to my many questions.  Who is He, Why me? and How did this happen?

I can say I have learned a lot in the last two years. He is so simplistic yet so complex. We are so earthy bound that we miss this spiritual gift that is larger than life. I have found that I was not necessarily chosen. I do believe He LOVEs each one of us the same.  It’s is within us to be open to hearing his voice, to feel His love, and to pursue Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our might.

Some believe it’s a test of wills and they are clinging to their independence, and the fact they can do it themselves… I have found that is a huge misguided thought. Because He is the most liberating breath of air you will ever take into your lungs.

It comes down to degrees… Are you all in?  or do you dance in the shadows waiting for the other shoe to drop before you drop to your knees and invite Him in??  I have learned that pursuing His Mystery, His Love, and His value system is a powerful tool. It changes how you see life, It changes how you love Him and How you love others. He is the most amazing gift to pursue. Your life will never be the same.  It's because of Him we even exist.

Its Him. It's always HIM… HE WOWs me.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 Esv

And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6

I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me. Proverbs 8:17 Esv

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Crimson

I fell in love with you, not for your looks, but for who you really are.

Meaning of crimsona rich deep red color inclining to purple.

The word crimson is in the Bible in 46 instances

Are we color blind?  Do we see the colors before us? Do they have a deeper meaning??

Our Heavenly Father created so many beautiful various colors. Just look at nature. See the beauty in the color He has painted on every delicate flower. The colors are vibrant, pale and a powerful statement of resurrection after a cold winter season.

The color Crimson signifies the celestial love of good.

However when I think of the color crimson. It transports my mind to a time from long ago... When I see crimson I see RED... It makes me mad, it breaks my heart and wounds my soul.  And then I ask, How could this happen. How could we stand by and let the beautiful Son of God suffer such pain... How could this loving soul be tormented in such a horrific way? Scripture shares the details of His humiliation, His pain, and the very crimson blood He shed for us, His children...

We let Him down...Many of us today still turn away, Does this wound His very soul?  Do we cause Him more pain... Does His anguish bring Him vivid memories of when the last drop of His crimson blood fell...

It was His destiny from Birth. How does He still Love us? Why does He still Love us?

In our world, and with our human character flaws we seem to hate others for so much less.

His capacity to love us will always puzzle me... I don’t know how He does it?  I can only thank Him for His heart and His LOVE.

His story is told in the beauty of the dark crimson rose. The Rose has a double meaning. On one side it’s about sadness and mourning and death. On another, it has a more joyous meaning - rebirth and love.

His rebirth and Love is what has given all mankind our eternal HOPE.

It’s Him. It’s always Him.

“They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.. Matt. 27:28

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Run

You know that in a race all the runners run but only one wins the prize, don’t you? You must run in such a way that you may be victorious. Everyone who enters an athletic contest practices self-control in everything. They do it to win a wreath that withers away, but we run to win a prize that never fades.1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Meaning of run: move at a speed faster than a walk, never having both or all the feet on the ground at the same time:

There are 35 verses in the Bible about running,

The word run brings Tom Hanks to my mind and the words ... Run Forest Run... Such a great movie...

Do we walk away with a message?  Are we different? Do people treat us differently? Do we crumble? Or do we find that inner strength to break through all obstacles? Or do we hide? And let life and beautiful souls pass us by?

I have witnessed a fear so great that it makes people run away and hide in hopes it will go away...

They may find peace for a brief moment in time!! But the fear will continue to show its ugly head... and the cycle of running will continue until you face that it is you that you are afraid of.

Most fears are manifested in our own heads. Now don't get me wrong there are times in our lives that fear will keep us from disasters in our life..

However, how do we learn the difference???

When we look to God's word for answers. He speaks to our hearts. He soothes our souls... He tells us 365 times. Fear Not... So I say don't run, don't hide... Hold Him tightly and listen to His whispers.  He is our strength. He is our peace. He is our first love... He is our guide for life. He holds all the answers to our future...

It's Him, It's always Him

I say RUN... Run as fast as you can to His open arms. He is waiting.

Isaiah 40:31. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Window

“When God closes a door, he opens a window, but it's up to you to find it.” ― Jeannette Walls

Meaning of window an opening in the wall or roof of a building or vehicle that is fitted with glass or other transparent material in a frame to admit light or air and allow people to see out.

There are approximately 27 verses about windows in the Bible.

When I started to think about the word window.  Many window images danced through my head. There are some windows that take up entire walls, some are just a small opening that allows a very small light to peek in through the darkness. And then there is a computer program called windows… Hmm, interesting?

Many of us have touched our computer keys and we have moved through many programs on our computer’s hard drive. Searching, creating, sharing, saving .. Without truly knowing this tidbit of interesting information.

Did you know that the program windows has a mode called GOD mode?

It gives us access to the operating system's control panel. The real name for the God Mode in Windows is the Windows Master Control Panel shortcut. God mode seems to be the most helpful for advanced Windows users and enthusiasts that work in IT.

When I read this, I could not help feel it parallels our God. He is our operating system. He has always been in control… He hides deep within our hearts.. We just need to access His Love…  The biggest difference I see is our God is not only for advanced users or even enthusiasts. He is for everyone… His is the Master Control of everything we see, we touch and feel.. and beyond.

I have to smile because I believe God must have guided the creators of the software windows. He leaves us many clues. Do we see them?  Do we find it a coincidence that He has placed Himself in everything we touch? I don’t, everything leads to Him if only we would open the windows of our hearts to Him. It's then that we begin to see Him, His Creations, His beauty, His wisdom, His Love … in everything. He is the meaning of WOW.

But soft ! what light through yonder window breaks.

Its Him. It's always Him

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

Choice

I choose Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. To these, I commit my day. If I succeed, I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek His grace. And then when this day is done I will place my head on my pillow and rest.”― Max Lucado -

Meaning of choice an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities.

There are approximately 41 verses that speak about the word choice.

Living life is chock-full of choices. As I thought about the word choices I did what most of us do. I Googled it ... And I found an article that  stated, “per many internet sources it’s estimated that an adult makes about 35,000 remotely conscious decisions each day [in contrast a child makes about 3,000] (Sahakian & Labuzetta, 2013.”

No wonder many of us seem so disconnected, so tired, so lost...

All through history many humans have made choices that have affected our world.. Our cities, our homes...and our personal lives...

How do we know when the choices we make are the right ones??  That is that million-dollar question? How do we know??? We all know life is such a mosaic of highs and lows and these are a direct result of the choices we make... Some bring us joy and some bring us heartfelt pain.

So I made the choice to peel back the pages of a book that many hold as a beautiful life manual.  Just how does the choice of reading the Bible stack up? It’s such a confusing book? Do we understand the language of long ago? I must admit 12, months ago I thought the same thing !!! But my choice to discover more about a love that defines imagination found me making choices that changed many things in my life... Most by choice and I  have shared most of them openly.

The biggest choice that had the most amazing spiritual impact on my life was to love My heavenly Father with all my heart all my soul and all of my might. It’s a choice that many run too, many run away from.. and some dance in the shadows hoping that the minimum is enough.

I have not been asked to judge. I have not been asked to criticize... I have been asked to share a love that brings hope.. that brings us peace and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

It is a gift of love for every man, woman, and child.

It clearly is a choice...

I choose Him! And I will always choose Him.

It’s Him, It's always him.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. John 15:16

Title

"There are two hundred and fifty-six names given in the Bible for the Lord Jesus Christ, and I suppose this was because He was infinitely beyond all that any one name could express."

 ~ Billy Sunday ~

Meaning of title: An inscription put over anything as a name by which it is known. The inscription at the beginning of a book, containing the subject of the work, and sometimes the author's name.

It is not stated how many times if any the word title appeared in the Bible.

What is it about a title that gives the person or object credence, stature, or power?

Many of us wear many hats and bear many titles during our life’s journey. Most of us carry at least two personas. One that our family sees and a different one at work. Perhaps we are known as Mom or Dad at home and at work, you could have a title that is specific to your job description. I would say most of us have somewhere between 5 –15 titles tops.

It’s fascinating to me to discover just how many names and titles God carries... How does He keep 950 names and titles straight?   How does He fulfill the job descriptions that each of them conveys?

Come with me as I try to understand How this came to be ??? First, let’s be clear.

There is only one God, He is in many ways beyond human comprehension, He also consists of three distinct persons, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.  So from the beginning, we start with the possibilities of four names.  Now when I glance over the long list of titles they seem to vary because of the origin of the language spoken and the job they represented.  We could probably be lost in His names and titles for an indefinite amount of time and never truly grasp the vastness of their true meanings.

I do believe the titles and names were given by the ones involved with Him and the action given.

I do believe we migrate to the name and title that speaks to our hearts with the language of an unexplainable love.  When He touches our soul His name becomes music to our ears. His title gives us comfort that He holds the keys to whatever we may need.  We cling to the title's description and it becomes a personal understanding of who He is and what He means to each of us.

As I traveled this road. My love and understanding grew. His names and titles shifted and as He became more alive. His presence became evident in my life... I finally landed on a name and a title that spoke to my soul... It grew from respect, adoration, and from a love that He lavished on me... I call Him LOVEs ... Because LOVE is what I think of when I think of Him... And in my heart, He is all-inclusive, He is “One” The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit... So,

One word, One Love, in a plural, became:

LOVEs

It’s Him, It’s Always Him

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1John 4:16

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him 1John 3:1 NIV

Circle

"Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were.  The life of a person is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves." ~ Black Elk..

The meaning of circle: A round plane figure whose boundary (the circumference) consists of points equidistant from a fixed point (the center). A group of people with shared professions, interests, or acquaintances. Move all the way around (someone or something), especially more than once.

The word circle is in the Bible approximately 7 times.

As I studied this circular word. I kept hearing the Lion King lyrics dance in my head. Here are just a few lines I thought were interesting.

From the day we arrive on the planet
In the circle of life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
'Til we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of life

What is the circle of life?? How broadly does it go? Does it ever end?

Have you ever given that any thought? Who were we before we were born? A special child-like spirit in God's Kingdom? We are His children? So where do we reside before we are born?

The vastness of these thoughts will always puzzle our human mind. We will always have many unanswered questions while we are held captive in our human state. But let’s try to step out of our human restraints and become spiritual thinkers.

I will share my thoughts, I do believe we start our existence as a spiritual child of God. He loves each one of His children. He made us so we could experience life on earth. So on that pivotal day on the calendar, we call our birthday.  He gently whispers in our ear go my beloved child. Go to your earthly parents and show the world who you are. You are my bright shining star. Make your mark and live a beautiful life. And as that child leaves for his or her earthly destination. A tear rolls down our Creator's face because He knows He will miss His Child with all His heart and can only watch us grow from a distance. He knows the many trials we will need to face to learn and grow. He has promised to never leave us.

However, as we grow our parents will love us. They will be there for all our successes and trials. Our memory of our heavenly Father seems to take a distant place in our memory. The days slip away, as each year passes.  As we become seasoned adults, life continues to travel by more rapidly with each waking moment. And as we grow some will become curious and search for answers about their heritage in heaven. They will feel their Heavenly Father's presence. Some will be late bloomers. Some may not search at all which is a sad thought.

But what happens when we are nearing the end of what we know as life on earth.. ?? Do we return to God's open arms as His spiritual Child. Do we come full circle? Is this the circle of life… If so, the circle of life must be spiritual in nature. Because the life we know on earth has an expiration date. But our souls will feel that pull to return to our first love.

It's Him, It's always Him!

When we are given the gift of coming full circle. We will know in our hearts and will appreciate where we came from, where we have been, where we are.. and who we have become… It’s a gift from our heavenly Father. To be soulfully loved beyond our human understanding. Coming full circle is not a physical location but a beautiful spiritual journey of life.

.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7

God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes, and see how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. Worship God if you want the best; worship opens doors to all his goodness. Psalm 34:7-9

He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness Job 26:10

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle on the face of the deep Proverbs 8:27

“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Mark 13:32
