I fell in love with you, not for your looks, but for who you really are.-
Meaning of crimson: a rich deep red color inclining to purple.
The word crimson is in the Bible in 46 instances
Are we color blind? Do we see the colors before us? Do they have a deeper meaning??
Our Heavenly Father created so many beautiful various colors. Just look at nature. See the beauty in the color He has painted on every delicate flower. The colors are vibrant, pale and a powerful statement of resurrection after a cold winter season.
The color Crimson signifies the celestial love of good.
However when I think of the color crimson. It transports my mind to a time from long ago... When I see crimson I see RED... It makes me mad, it breaks my heart and wounds my soul. And then I ask, How could this happen. How could we stand by and let the beautiful Son of God suffer such pain... How could this loving soul be tormented in such a horrific way? Scripture shares the details of His humiliation, His pain, and the very crimson blood He shed for us, His children...
We let Him down...Many of us today still turn away, Does this wound His very soul? Do we cause Him more pain... Does His anguish bring Him vivid memories of when the last drop of His crimson blood fell...
It was His destiny from Birth. How does He still Love us? Why does He still Love us?
In our world, and with our human character flaws we seem to hate others for so much less.
His capacity to love us will always puzzle me... I don’t know how He does it? I can only thank Him for His heart and His LOVE. ❤
His story is told in the beauty of the dark crimson rose. The Rose has a double meaning. On one side it’s about sadness and mourning and death. On another, it has a more joyous meaning - rebirth and love.
His rebirth and Love is what has given all mankind our eternal HOPE.
It’s Him. It’s always Him.
“They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.. Matt. 27:28
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
