I hate to see complacency prevail in our lives when it's so directly contrary to the teaching of Christ.- Jimmy Carter...
In the Bible, "prevail" generally means to gain victory, overcome, or achieve dominance through strength or perseverance. It signifies the triumph of God's will, the success of His people, or the overcoming of adversity. The concept is woven throughout both the Old and New Testaments, illustrating both divine and human victory..
We located twenty-nine verses in the Bible that speak of the word prevail…
Though my heart aches as I witness the world's suffering, I remain steadfast in my conviction that we can create positive change. Wars, unrest, and discord will not prevail when we collectively choose love, kindness, and compassion. Jesus, give me the strength to be a force for good, using my voice to uplift and inspire.
“Let me hold you, let me speak words of peace, let me shout words of love to the hurting hearts…"
Things have not changed so much through the ages, hate, greed, and power have always been hidden in the hearts of many men…
Yet, do not crumble under the weight of adversity... stand strong, persevere, and continue to shine His love and light. It brings hope, peace, and love to many wounded souls.
If you read this to the end... I invite you to stand tall, shine His beacon of light for the world to see... let His light fill the cracks of our fallen world!! He is the superglue that holds us together! He is watching, He is waiting for humanity to learn the lesson at hand...
His transformative love is the key to unlocking a brighter future. I pray His love overflows in you and our world like a dam that has burst, releasing an endless supply of forgiveness, compassion, and love ...
Be safe, Be blessed, Be loved !!!
It’s Him! It's always Him, our rock and the lover of my soul!!
And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I [am] with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee Jeremiah 1:19
“The person who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The person who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever seen before.” – Albert Einstein
Unconventional: The definition of unconventional is someone or something that deviates from the norm or accepted standard.
The word unconventional may not be written as such in the Bible, but the word screams throughout it's beautiful pages...
As of 2021, there are approximately 7,846,000,000 people in our world. People of all types, cultures, and religions. But when I look at that number, I can’t help thinking of all the people in the world today and through history… Just how many of them truly impacted the general population??? What makes them different? What makes them unique?? What is that X-factor they seem to possess? Or are they just unconventional souls trying to make their mark in our world?
When we turn to the Bible... We can see the word unconventional as we examine the life that stood so magnificently tall. Yet He humbly left His beautiful mark on all mankind throughout every generation... From His conception, through His death and resurrection... His entire life was an unconventional phenomenon. He was uniquely different and not to be considered what the world viewed as the norm...
He did not fit the mold! So, because of this, He was unjustly judged by man's insecure heart and limited thinking.
I ask why do we try to place Him in a box??? He is so bigger than life. We should open our arms and embraced His Godly differences. Why don't we cherish Him above all else?
We are all wonderfully made by God... Each having our own blueprint to share with others in our world. No two of us are alike!! There is so much to learn from our different cultures, beliefs, and religions... It is very sad that man has been so judgmental. Many try to squeeze others into the normal box resulting in undue pain!!!
My spiritual walk... started in a very unconventional way!!! The Holy Spirit reached down from Heaven and touched my soul with a love beyond my understanding... With no prior religious background, I was so unprepared for the days ahead. But as fumbled I earnestly tried to find my way... I began to share Him and His amazing LOVE with anyone who would listen...
Most did not embrace my story because is not the conventional way they had witnessed in others. This made me feel odd, alone and I cried many tears behind closed doors...
Sharing Him will never fit the normal mold... But look who I am dealing with!!! He should never fit in what man has outlined as normal… I am actually grateful for the lack of understanding it thrust me into His arms. Where He kept loving me and teaching me... He became my safe place to run. He embraced my uniqueness and cherished me beyond what my heart could even understand.
He taught me that the path I was on He made for me alone.. It's has taken many hours of discovering God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit... For me to become comfortable within my own spiritual skin.
And through this experience, I have come to the realization that I will never fit the typical mold made by man... My story will be different, it will be fresh, it will be loving ... Because that is who He is… It's my unique gift from my Heavenly Father...
So, if my openness and my sharing His love is different than the norm... Know that is from the most unconventional heart I have grown to know and love...I am only a messenger.
He opened my once dormant soul to His world of magnificent wonder... And for those who must judge... Let me let you know that I say without restraint that I know without a shadow of a doubt that He loved me first... And somewhere in a very unconventional way, I fell in LOVE with Him... All of Him...
He WOWs me.
It's Him, it's always Him
I am and will forever be His unconventional child...
Be different, Be unique, Be everything He wants you to be!!
"One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is time alone with God." ~ Joyce Meyer...
Meaning of time alone spent by an individual or a couple apart from others.
The word solitude appears 6 times in the Bible...
The early morning or the late-night hour is the most magical alone time for me.
It's when I can feel the quietness of the moment. It's when the noise of our world has grown dim. It’s when I can get in tune with my innermost thoughts and find my true self... It's when my thoughts become most apparent. It’s when I can dream and be wide awake... It's when I can come humbly to my Heavenly Father, and shed tears of thankfulness.
Where I can just be His accepted child with no restraints ... I can be held in His strong arms. ... I can laugh, I can play... I can be silly. I share my desires and open my heart to love beyond my own understanding ... I can love Him without boundaries. I can feel the completeness, not of this world.
I can run with Jesus in a field of flowers... or just sit quietly by a babbling brook. or perhaps lay my weary head softly on His chest. I can feel the soft whispers of my mentor the Holy Spirit as He resets my compass for life. I can gather them in my heart and tell them that I love them more than the air I breathe...They have filled my mind, body, and soul with happiness that cannot be found in earthly things.
My time alone … is filled with the most precious souls…
So when my family says “You should sleep more” they have no idea that my time alone with my Creator does more for me than anything we can ever do in our time on earth…
Time … is fleeting use it wisely.
I choose…
Him… it will always be Him!
By the way, as a believer, there is no such thing as solitude. Because He is always with us no matter where we roam!
Oh, my precious LOVEs thank you for our time together! You have blessed my soul.
“A drowning man cannot be saved until he is utterly exhausted and ceases to make the slightest effort to save himself.” -
Meaning of vigilant: Keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties. The word "vigilant" appears in the Bible approximately eleven times.
Are we a product of our selfishness? Have we taken our eye off the prize?? Are we asleep at the wheel? Are we complacent? What and who are we chasing? Are we taking others with us? Or does our quest to be bigger and better leave us void of substance?
When life gets rocky, many people do not know where to turn for answers. They struggle, they withdraw, and retreat to a darkness that will eventually consume their very existence.
There is a dark presence in our world. I won’t mention any names, because I do not want to give him any attention or fanfare. But most know his name, and many dance with him daily. He prowls in the darkness just waiting for you…Lurking for his prey. Are you next?
Is that scary??? It should be??
But what can we do? Can we stand the heat? Or will we crash and burn in the flames?
The question becomes, how do we triumph over the evil forces and emerge victorious in our fallen world?
I say, since this is a Bible word study, let's examine the scripture for clues. In Ephesians 6:13, it states.
"Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
But what does that mean ??
It means we are at war daily. We must be vigilant in chasing our inheritance. We must never take our eye off the prize and maintain our spiritual place within God's army. He is the only presence that possesses the power and strength to fight the evil in our world. It is also written that He will fight our battles. He will be victorious! He will win the war.
I can hear in my soul… Rise. Be vigilant… And stay as close as you can to Our Beloved Father. It is there that we are loved, it is there that we are safe. It is His beautiful light that will shine with such an intensity that the darkness will have no choice but to flee.
It's Him, it's always Him
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:11-18
Suit up, my friends...
Stay close to our protector. Our Savior, the power is in loving HIM with all our mind, heart, and soul !!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
Embracing change can be a powerful journey in life and art. Here's a testament to the transformative power of revisiting and refining a once-painted image, one brushstroke at a time. As I listened to music, my heart began the process… of seeing His face….
He inspires me in countless ways through everyday moments, gently refining His treasure as the ultimate Creator.
I first painted this piece in March, and yesterday, I revisited it, placing it on my easel, and the transformation began to unfold. Did I change it, or did He refine something within me? Hmmm
Wishing you a day filled with the refining love that He is so famous for…
It's Him! It's always Him !!
James 1:16-18
16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
If God wants to bring you closer to Him, He will make you alone. Kamaran Ihsan Salih
In the Bible, "bring" signifies a wide range of actions and ideas, from physical acts of carrying to metaphorical acts of leading, presenting, or causing something to come about. It's used in contexts of offering, deliverance, guidance, and even the act of bringing to life or completion.
As I began to examine this word, I pondered why it surfaced in my mind. However, I then experienced an epiphany. It’s Him. He wanted me to bring you on this journey. I have been on an extraordinary path of discovering God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We have traversed the pages with the hope that these words would resonate with at least one soul. It has been remarkable to witness the numerous individuals who have read our words. Nonetheless, this marks the first instance in which He has requested that I bring you along.
Will you join me on an extraordinary adventure that will elevate our existence? You will find yourself falling in love with our Creator, my Elohim!! He will communicate with your heart in an unparalleled way… He is our safe haven when adversity strikes… He is our beacon of hope!!! And.… He has asked me to bring you along!!! Take my hand..…
But wait….
When we're invited to the most momentous occasion of our lives, what will we select to bring? Will we choose to share our love and our hearts without restraint? Will we present our lives as a testament to the power of kindness, compassion, and love, just as we've been loved and inspired to do by the most amazing loving soul we will have the privilege to know!
I can only bring you this far… the rest is up to you… Open your heart to His amazing love… and join Him as you write the most extraordinary love story you will ever experience!
He brings me to where no man has ever traveled! My heart deep within His presence… and as my soul fades into Him… I can only whisper it’s You!! It’s always been you!!
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. psalm 143:8
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” -Rumi
Meaning of brokenness: a person has given up all hope; is despairing.
There are approximately twenty-seven verses that point us to the word brokenness...
While meditating on this word, the silence in the room seemed to be interrupted by the sounds rushing through my head. I'm afraid this word will make me bleed. Throughout my walk with God, I've experienced times of heartbreak and severe soul bruising. I've found myself curled up, face buried in the ground, crying out from the depths of my soul.
I had a war raging within... I felt like I was coming apart at the seams... My heart was indeed being peeled back, like an onion, for the whole world to see... I was in such unfamiliar territory... I reached out but could not find a hand to hold... I felt misunderstood and alone. I retreated…
I was struggling to understand and find my balance.
Even knowing I had family and friends who loved me, I still felt lost. Who could understand this spiritual encounter? Since I didn't know my Creator, I looked for comfort in others, seeking someone who could enlighten me and provide perspective. But the gift of love I received was far greater than what most have ever encountered.
Many didn't know how to respond, and some thought I was losing my mind. Yet, I felt driven by a gentle force, which is hard to put into words. I knew I had to keep moving forward, I had to keep discovering more about Him and the love I felt in my soul. I had an unusual desire to share His love, but I was unprepared and out of my comfort zone. I felt an unexplainable joy rippling through my veins.
It was a struggle, leaving me wondering where I fit in and with whom I could share.
As I traveled each day, I discovered my Heavenly Father was always there, guiding me. He held me as I felt the growing pains of shedding my old skin, and I became stronger as I discovered more about Him, His beauty, and His love. He healed my broken heart and filled my days with beautiful wonder.
I felt like a child in a candy store, with so much to see, taste, and learn. My brokenness gave me heartfelt pain, but my state of not finding someone to hold my hand led me to Him. My brokenness allowed me to build an intimate relationship of trust, faith, and love with the most amazing spiritual soul I have come to know. I found the beauty in the pain. I found Him! It’s always been Him!!
And I would not change not even one day… He helped me… find me…
He is my soft place to fall. My strength when I am weak ... And He is my love when no other human understands my heart!! He is the light that I seek! He is the whisper in the wind that I yearn to hear... He is my gift of LOVE from above. And yes, He is bigger than anything in this life! And I love Him more each day…
He wows me !!!
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’Isaiah 41:10
This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. Psalms 91:2
And He said to all “If anyone would come after me, let him
deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23
“Feelings beyond explanation... the soul responds with unspoken words. The heart sings in splendor” ― Leela Reddy
Meaning of unspoken - not expressed in speech; tacit. “An unspoken assumption"
I did not find the word “unspoken” in the Bible. However, it does point us to be still and listen for our Father's voice.
Words are a fascinating study; they have taken me on an incredible journey. I have discovered when to be still, not utter a single word, and listen. To be truthful, I sometimes find this difficult when the excitement of sharing a gift of His love with others appears before me. It overtakes my heart, and the words seem to escape from my mouth faster than I can contain them.
Many words can speak of hate. They can also speak of love greater than we have ever known. Words can warm our hearts, bring great joy, or wound our souls beyond repair.
I will admit, even before I shared this precious time with my Heavenly Father, I would tell my children If you had nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all,” leaving those words unspoken.
Are our thoughts the same as our voice? Do we act on these thoughts and share them with others, or do they remain hidden in our hearts for eternity? Are our silent prayers even heard?? Or must we part our lips and let the whispers from our hearts find they're their way to our Beloved Savior’s ears? I do believe God knows our every thought, which means every spoken and unspoken word… There is no hiding from Him. I find that He has even kept up with technology. He sees every word written, every app we open, every website we visit. He sees the words we use when we interact with each other on this thing we call social media.
Do we even give this a second thought as we go through our daily lives?
I am certain that some of our written, spoken words, and thoughts may bring great joy to our Heavenly Father's heart. And yet, some may sadden and perhaps even wound His soul.
I must admit I speak to Him in the silence of my mind, I write my thoughts and prayers daily, and I part my lips and speak to Him from the depths of my soul. There are no unspoken words to God. There is no other relationship that can know our heart, and understand us at such an intimate level…
Through embracing vulnerability and openness, I've come to realize that He is pleased when we share His message of love with others, by using our voices and experiences to spread His legacy of love through forgiveness and salvation for eternity.
Let no love go unspoken… time is a fragile gift. Be still and listen to the best teacher of life and love, and do not let these words go unspoken in your heart.
'Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.' TPT
“And then she felt a calm wash over her, as the Earth grounded her with its might.” – Sarah Briedis...
Unearthing the act or process of sighting or learning the existence of something for the first time.
Unearthing verses" in the Bible can refer to discovering or rediscovering passages that hold hidden treasures of wisdom, truth, or hope.
As I sit looking out into the vastness of our world… I ask myself, do we run through life with such speed that our feet never hit the ground? Do we not pause to reflect and dig deep within ourselves to unearth the divine wisdom that our magnificent Heavenly Father has outlined for His children?
Or do we act like rebellious teens, thinking we have all the answers, forgetting that He humbled Himself, returned as a man, and experienced human life to share His life and wisdom!
They say we can ground ourselves just by walking with bare feet on the earthly ground He created…
He created heaven, earth, and man. Is there a magnetic pull that grounds us to Him and all His creations? I believe everything ties back to Him… What a wondrous, extraordinary soul… How do we not appreciate His wisdom, His Artistry… His Vision… His Love!!
Oh, let me walk with Him in bare feet across His magnificent gift … Let me feel His presence … let me unearth the treasures He has set before me!!!
It’s Him! It’s always Him!!
I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. Isaiah 45:3-25
“Fall in love with being true to yourself, no matter how unpopular it is.” -Edmond Mbiaka..
Meaning of imposter - a person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gain:
The word imposter or the referenced word seems to appear approximately 3 times in the Bible.
Are you a what you see, is what you get the type of person?? The word transparency has become a popular word in today’s vocabulary. We all try to identify and remove imposters from our lives as they most likely can not be trusted with our hearts...
From my experience, many of these imposters have very charismatic types of personalities and can suck you into their snare before you realize what happened you may have become a victim of their fake world and hidden agenda.
Not all imposters can be disclosed with the naked eye. Have you ever seen knock off purses, watches, sneakers.. etc
From a distance, they seem like the real deal..But the quality can not stand up to the everyday wear and tear of the original...
We all have been guilty of wearing fake smiles, and showing only what we want others to believe. Social media is a hotbed for fake, imposters, and for creating a life you want others to believe. Do we read between in lines and find the true authentic person.. the raw, the real ??
I do believe we have all been victims of trusting, of giving our hearts, and of being injured by the imposter syndrome.
Yes, Christians can be imposters too. They have the same human frailties and desires, we all live in an imperfect world. We all crave to belong, to fit in .. but at what cost.. To be an imposter we give up the best part of ourselves... We all have unique and special qualities that God himself has given to us. And these qualities get lost as we hide behind what we want others to see.
Many thought and still think of Jesus as an imposter. I am curious what does it take for people to believe? What does it take for people to see His transparency? Even in death He never wavered? Most if not all imposters will shed their cloak and change like a chameleon when things get hot. Not Him. He was steadfast in His mission.
I can only speak from my experience and my heart. Jesus has shown me His love, His compassion, and His grace. His agenda has always been to LOVE. Many theologians have tried their very best to disprove His life only to find He was indeed the real deal.. He was and still is that what you see is what you get the type of person??
The question becomes do we spend the time to truly know Him? Do we show Him our true authenticity? Or do we attempt to show Him the facade we created?? Trust me He sees past the mask we wear. He sees our hearts.. and the most amazing thing is He loves us anyway...
I will admit, He holds my transparent heart. It’s taken me awhile to shed the layers of life that had my heart bound .. and I am still a work in progress. But with His teachings and many tears, (not all sad tears).
I am finding the true, the raw, the original, person God has made me to be.. Trust me, I one hundred percent know ... He is not finished with me yet...
It’s been an amazing adventure of self-discovery and only He has the power to truly see our hearts... He wows me...
Don’t be a fake or an imposter, be transparent, be raw, be everything God knows you can be!!!
It’s Him, It’s always Him...
“It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night.”
Psalms 139:11 TPT
For many deceivers [heretics, posing as Christians] have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge and confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh (bodily form). This [person, the kind who does this] is the deceiver and the antichrist [that is, the antagonist of Christ 2 John 1:7
“God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way— the path that brings me back to you.”
