Need

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.Philippians 4:11

Meaning of need circumstances in which something is necessary, or that require some course of action; necessity:

I do believe I may need help finding out how many times the word need is in the Bible.

Putting that thought aside for now. As I watch people in general we all have needs some more than others... Some are givers and some are takers. Be honest and look deep within and ask yourself which title do you fall under ?? Giver? Taker?

There are so many needs in our world. But many of us are so busy living our lives that we may have a tendency to overlook many of them.

The words “I need” can become a selfish action. I ask you to take a moment and say with me... I need! And now you finish the sentence ...

Where is your heart? Is your need a monetary want? Then it truly is not a need but a WANT.  Many of us get caught up in the rat race of ownership of “things” and lose sight of what we should value most.

Many of us pray for our wants instead of our needs... Do you use your time with our Heavenly Father wisely? Do we bring the needs of others before Him?

Have you ever asked Him, what do may need? Many of us think of Him as an unlimited ATM. We pray and stand there waiting with our hands open ready to receive our materialistic wants...

Do we behave like His spoiled children? Or do we humble ourselves before Him and truly ask Him what can I do for you? What do you need of me today? When we began to shift our hearts and minds towards the needs of others our hearts start to open and we began to see the true value of life and our monetary wants become less important.  You may find a love bigger than you even realize existed...You may find a joy that has been hidden deep within. You may find the true meaning of life!!!

It’s Him, It’s always Him

It's His amazing LOVE... That spills out upon the hearts that are willing vessels. Have you felt Him stirring in your soul?

I NEED Him now and forever !!

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Harvest

My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite. William Shakespeare…

The meaning of Harvest is the process or period of gathering in crops.

The symbolic meaning of harvest in Scripture encompasses two main areas: God's provision for us and God's blessing for others.

There are approximately 70 verses in the Bible that speak of Harvest.

It’s is the time of year that most of us are more interested in Harvest than normal.  November is a beautiful time for for pumpkin patches, corn mazes and timeout with our families.. Many of us seem busy preparing for the grateful holiday of Thanksgiving...

But let’s stop for just a moment and ask, what does the good “Book” tells us about this word? Is there a deeper more profound meaning?

Are we His harvest? Did He come to earth with the purpose to gather His Children ? For us to see the bounty in Him??

As I studied this word these thoughts danced through my mind... To grow anything there are needs and a few must have requirements... Food, water, light and Love... And these thoughts are scripturally sound and are written below. He is all the above!! He is our life source.  He is our bounty, and we are His Harvest.

He just ask us to use the formula He has given us and GROW ....

Many of us are like the fruit.. some are green, some are rotten and have fallen to the ground... But there are those who live and grow into everything He knows you can be...

I don’t know about you but when the time comes, I want to be ready to say pick me I am ready... He holds all the answers!!! Pick Him!!!

He is our  beautiful bounty from heaven above!

It’s Him !!! it’s always Him!!!

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35

And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. Revelation 21:6

Autumn

There is no changing yesterday... it was a learning experience... Now go and grow where God planted you.

The season between summer and winter, characterized by cooling weather and dormant plants, spanning from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and encompassing September, October, and November in the Northern Hemisphere.

As fall colors begin to burst forth, our hearts and eyes turn to the breathtaking beauty of change. What creates these eye-popping changes that our hearts have welcomed for centuries?

The gentle swaying of the orange tree leaves in the breeze stirred up many thoughts in my mind. This time of year often evokes fond memories of family, friends, and life's moments shared together.

When we pause and reflect, we realize our world is readying itself for the impending cold and harsh days... In one glorious explosion of color, she made her final statement of life before relinquishing it. She lived!

As the last harvest is gathered, she prepares for a period of renewal and growth. The seasonal changes remind us of the cycle of life and the beauty of transformation.

God's gift of nature provides us with a blueprint for personal growth, reflecting our individual journeys through the changing seasons. As we navigate through the cold of winter, the renewal of spring, the warmth of summer, and the harvest of fall, we become empowered to embrace change and unlock our potential.

Some changes are visible, while others are felt internally, allowing us to heal and prepare for what's next... Can these changes also be seen and felt in our relationship with God? My experience says yes, and observing how everything is connected, it's clear that our timing is not just about yearly occurrences, but about life experiences, which we still call seasons.

When I didn't know Christ, my soul was in a cold, harsh winter place, unaware that I kept it there, sadly waiting in the dark. My soul became dormant and unresponsive, like a tall maple tree on a beautiful winter's day. Did I appear dead? Did the spark of life disappear? Unaware, Christ was still working hard, much like a farmer, to preserve my life, planning, prepping, and watering. He brought His beauty, light, song of love, and slowly led my lost soul out of its dormant state. Then, suddenly, with a burst of color, my soul could finally breathe, and life began to beautifully unfurl. He turned up the heat, much like a hot summer day, and my love for Him ignited, setting my heart ablaze.

Never fear change, for our Savior's light illuminates the path ahead, guiding us through every season of life. He is our refuge in winter's harshness, our haven in times of need, He brings new life to barren souls, and His love is as gentle as a summer breeze. With His love, we can embrace every season with faith and hope.

Through the power of His love, we can trust that every season of our lives will be filled with purpose and promise, as we evolve and flourish into the best versions of ourselves.

He WOWs me!

It’s Him, It’s always Him

For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

ABBA, Count Me In — Part 1 of my Christmas Trilogy (LIVE)

Good morning, happy Friday…

💛Click the image to hear watch the video.
Last night at 12:00 AM, ABBA, Count Me In — Part 1 of my Christmas Trilogy — went live on YouTube.
This song pulls from such a special moment in my life…
The first Sunday after my encounter, I found myself in church —
which honestly even surprised me.
I quietly slipped into the first pew, and when the music started,
I stood and whispered…
“Father… I am here. Count me in.”
Somehow those words never left me…
and now they have become this song.
I pray that as you listen,
you feel the tug of His love —
the love that unravels us, restores us,
and gently draws us home.
“Count me in” is ringing in the Christmas season!!
Are you in???

Christmas Trilogy Part 1

Trilogy Part 1 — ABBA Count Me In

A Tribute to My Journey of Love

Triune Loves Me | Lori Garner
Song releases Nov 14, 2025

A Note From My Heart

This song is a piece of my journey — a moment born from surrender, longing, and a whisper that changed everything.
It was in that sacred space I breathed the words:

Abba… 'Count me in.”

He opened my heart and soul though music... I pray that as you read, and listen you feel the tug of His love, His love that unravels us… restores us… and draws us home.

Lyrics — ABBA, Count Me In

As my world unraveled
People faded from my life
Somewhere in the confusion,
My mind, my heart, my soul…
Went to war…

Emotions hit hard…
Tears fell like rain
I surrendered to You…..

But where did I go?
To whom do I owe?
Can I be so bold?

It’s then my soul took control,
And sang a new song.

Abba, I am here—
Waiting for Your Son’s return.
You are the air I breathe,
The fire within me.
I don’t understand Your plan,
But I know Your love is true.
Abba, I am here…
I am here for You.

How can this be—
You are now the Master of my life?
I have no desire to flee.
Loving You is easy—You set me free.

Is this just a dream,
Or my new reality?

Was this always meant to be?
My Spirit connected to Thee?
Or was it destiny?

Was I chosen,
or was it fate
That brought me here to You that day….

Abba, I am here—count me in.
I know now, without a doubt,
I belong to You.

Abba, I am here—
Waiting for Your Son.
You are the air I breathe,
The reason my soul takes flight.
Abba, I am here… I am here—
For You.

Abba Father, I love You…
Count me in…

An Invitation

Raise your hand and your heart…
and be counted in.

Word

The word “word” is defined as a single, distinct, meaningful element of speech or writing—used with others (or sometimes alone) to form a sentence, typically shown with a space on either side when written or printed.

I could not find how many times the word “word” appears in the Bible, but this number is staggering: in the King James Authorized Bible there are 783,137 words. How did they craft such a masterpiece? And how has it been cherished by so many for so long?

Many of you know that my journey began with a simple word study on December 14, 2019. My friend Joann and I have identified and studied one word a day since that date. We researched meanings and scriptures, and then I wrote what was on my heart after reflecting on each word. To date, we’ve explored approximately 830 words—an incredible learning experience filled with insight and revelation.

Words are among the most powerful tools we have to express what we feel deep within our hearts. Once spoken, they can touch a soul with beautiful love ❤️ or wound a heart 💔 more deeply than any apology can mend. We must learn to choose our words wisely.

Have you ever wondered why, in the Bible, the apostle John began his Gospel with these profound words?

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him.” — John 1:1–3 (KJV)

In these verses, we see Jesus clearly present from the very beginning of time.

If we interchange the word “Word” with “Jesus,” it reads like this:

“In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him.”

This simple exercise does not attempt to alter Scripture—it simply helps visualize the depth of what John expressed and how masterfully it was written. Without the Word, life could not exist.

According to Matthew Henry (1662–1714) in his commentary, Jesus is called the Word in this opening verse because He is the Son of God, sent to earth to reveal His Father’s mind to the world.

Without the Word, we could not communicate with our Creator—or with each other. We would live in silence.
We would never hear our children’s first words, or the tender phrase, “I love you.”
We could not hear our Heavenly Father’s voice.

Words are powerful. Words are life. Words live in our hearts.
Use them to share life and love.

It’s Him. It’s always Him.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
— Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.
We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son,
who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
— John 1:14 (KJV)

There are 8,674 different Hebrew words in the Bible, 5,624 different Greek words, and 12,143 different English words in the King James Version.

Rebirth

"Rebirth is neither born of blood nor flesh or human origin. But born of God."

Meaning of rebirth, the process of being reincarnated or born again. spiritual rebirth - spiritual enlightenment causes a person to lead a new life, conversion, rebirth. redemption, salvation…

We located 34 verses that speak of rebirth in the Bible...

What! born again??? Being born is something every human has had to endure...It could be the most exciting most traumatic physical change we have had to experience... It's a moment that no one can even remember... God must have known it would be a difficult memory to understand... So, He blocked it from our memory...

But having such a clever mind... God gave us the ability to relive the excitement when hopefully we are in a place in our life to understand the amazing gift of rebirth!!!

Not!  lol... It's an amazing phenomenon... Many that walk the earth have experienced this amazing tantalizing force of heavenly enlightenment. How does this happen?  Is it our soul awakening to our Divine Master's voice calling to our hearts? I am not an expert in the how, when, and why.... only He has those answers...

But I can speak to the experience... We feel physically aware as we make our way through this thing, we call life... But our soul seems to be fast asleep... Dormant just going along for the ride... Suddenly without much warning, God reaches out and says it's time, awake my beloved...

And the rebirth process of the soul begins...

Some slowly emerge from the darkness. Some jump up, stretch, and are ready for this new adventure. Some are bewildered and confused... We all have a unique experience orchestrated by God Himself.

But to be uniquely awakened by God is the most important predestined appointment we could keep...The igniting of the flame within gives us the ability to see with our spiritual eyes. To hear with our spiritual ears. And feel with our spiritual heart! Our life becomes alive. You will experience things like never before. Colors are brighter, music is sweeter, and time with our creator is like the breath of life to our weary soul... It is so difficult to truly describe all the feelings that come racing forward...

But LOVE tops the charts... It's a life beyond human understanding. You are driven to chase this unexplainable force from heaven... You feel complete... You realize your body and soul are not one they are separate, but both have a vital purpose... And when they are in harmony, we gain the wisdom that this life is but a fleeting moment in time and our soul is who we are on a much deeper level. Both appreciate and begin to understand the role they play in our journey with God for eternity.

He holds the answer to all our questions... To be enlightened by God is only the beginning.  Every day is an exciting adventure of discovering Him...

It's Him. it's always Him.

He WOWs me.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:3.

Captive

To have God speak to the heart is a majestic experience, an experience that people may miss if they monopolize the conversation and never pause to hear God's responses. - Charles Stanley.
Meaning of Captive One who is charmed or subdued by beauty or excellence one whose affections are seized, or who is held by strong ties of love. 3. One who is ensnared by love or flattery, or by wiles.  Timothy 2:26

The word captivity in the Bible is mentioned 13 times.

Today the word captive came to my mind as I meditated with music that had beautiful lyrics that touched my soul.

As I drifted into deep tranquil thoughts of Elohim... I thought I want to go to Him but I am a prisoner of this earth... Our souls are held here captive by our human existence. Although life is precious and should be treasured ... It’s our soul and spiritual health that should be more important to us than the air we breathe... Our spiritual journey, our spiritual heart, and our soul will draw us into the most amazing journey we can ever encounter... One day our soul will leave our earthly bodies.. our soul will be freed to love far beyond anything we will ever experience here on earth... it’s a love that has no words that can adequately describe it... I can say I have felt and tasted a  teaspoon of His sweetness.. and my love for Him could not be contained...

I can only imagine when the day comes,  that my soul is free from human bondage ... My soul will dance with the One who held me first. The One that breathed life into my soul, and the One who loved me far greater than I ever dreamed possible...

It's Him.

He has freed my soul... but my earthly body is not ready to let me go... It holds my soul captive until the day comes that my beloved calls me home... Our body does not realize that our souls can not be held captive forever ...

We are fooling ourselves if we feel we are in control... Our earthly life is only ours on a temporary loan.. It's our soul that travels with us from birth to death and beyond...   Our soul belongs to Him!!!

The question becomes how healthy is your soul? Are you filling it with beautiful memories? Are you spreading His message of LOVE? Are you falling in love with Elohim? Do you have a desire in your heart to know Him on an intimate deeper level??

Or will your soul lack your spiritual compass when that inevitable time comes?

We do have choices?

My soul is His, it's always been His...

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Matthew 16:26

ONE-WAY

“No relationship in this world ever remains warm and close unless good effort is made on both sides to keep it so.”- Eleanor Roosevelt..

Meaning of one-way: something allows movement in only one direction a one-way street. one-sided.

I could only find the word one-way once in the Bible. Jeremiah 32:39.

During my journey, I have listened to many speak and say that Jesus is the only way…

And I am not here to dispute those amazing and wise words…

But the words one-way spoke to me today in a different way… and I feel I must share…

I find that in this “religious” walk many tell us we must strive for that intimacy with God. We must crave and chase that relationship with Jesus… and the Holy Spirit sometimes is just an afterthought?

I must ask you this question because I have asked this question of myself today…

How secure are you in your relationship with God??  Is it a deep caring above all else bond?  Is it just an occasional need?? Or do we say like the kids today… We are talking, in hopes that we can cultivate something more…

Once you search your heart…

I then will ask you, is your relationship one-way?  Do you only come to Him when you need something from Him? Do you only share the crumbs of your life with the one who holds you so dear??  I am afraid many of us are selfish in our relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit…

We seem to think of ourselves first.

I am not here to judge or point a finger… I am a work in progress just like you…

But if I am asking this question of myself, others may need to look into their hearts as well…

Ask yourself is my relationship with God one-way? Or do I give Him as much time as He gives me?  Am I there for Him when He needs me? Many may say… He is God He needs nothing ?? He just wants me to be good and to do for others...

But I have discovered there is so much more to Him. And we have only begun to scratch the surface…He made us in Their image for a reason… I would have to believe if we have emotions, so does He…. But maybe even on a larger scale…

After all, God is Love. How can He be love and be void of feelings?

1 John 4:16

Do we ask Him what can I do for you today ?? Do we care how He feels? How can He love and care for us so deeply…When all we do is ask Him for things?

As a parent myself I would be disappointed if my children viewed me as their source for “things” and did not care about the "real" me…

I ask …..

Where is your relationship?

Is it one-way???

Just imagine if you could have that intimate 2-way relationship with the only one that loves you so deeply and beyond this world …

He WOWs me.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

Jesus stated, in Mark 12:30-31, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength; this is the first commandment… There is no other commandment greater.”
