Grateful Heart - Reflection

“Gratitude is not in the words but in the heart which expresses it.” ― Luffina Lourduraj

I am beyond grateful to my Heavenly Father, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit for their gift of LOVE. I am thankful to the ones who came to the party and stayed. You know who you are... I love you more than you know for your support. And for the ones that could only watch from afar... You have no idea what you are missing... But there is still time...  My contact number has not changed and I openly share my experience and heart.

I wrote this at the end of 2018 and found it today. Do we take the time to reflect on days gone by with a grateful heart? When things happen in our lives that make such a dramatic change in who we are... It does leave us forever changed. This was only the beginning of my journey. I have been taught, that our journey will never truly end... Each moment we are blessed to live is an adventure and a beautiful gift from our Creator...Live it! Love it!

OMG ❤️

2018-2019, has been incredible I just wanted to share some highlights.

If I share everything l would need to write a book πŸ€”... The last eight months have been filled with a renewed love of music, heartfelt appreciation for my amazing Family, and awesome Friends. Thank you, for your undying love and support. I adore you all !!!

The HOLY SPIRIT touched my soul in May and he changed my life πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜. He filled my soul with unconditional love πŸ˜ ... That I could not contain, it overflowed and I tried to share it with everyone I knew πŸ˜πŸ€—πŸ˜œπŸ’― (scary moments for some) lol. Some thought I needed an MRI πŸ˜‚. And some showed me love return. Grateful for you!

Then I spent approximately 2 weeks with a heartfelt sadness πŸ˜’ grieving πŸ’” my sister in heaven but, I gained PEACE . I joined a church and I solidified my FAITH I found LOVE.  I got BAPTIZED and I found JOYπŸ’§Such an amazing time in my life.

For my birthday this year, πŸŽ I bought myself my first TATTOO. " πŸ˜ ❤️ Agape ❤️ " is now proudly displayed on my wrist (which means the highest LOVE in the Bible). Yikes πŸ˜³... @$%^* I found PAIN πŸ˜³(loI) It hurt more than I thought πŸ€”

I started a new JOB, utilizing my passion for photography πŸ“Έ in churches across Tennessee and Kentucky. I found KINDRED SPIRITS. Ironically the company I work for's name is "LIFETOUCH".πŸ€”..

I started writing  my feelings, that is something that is totally new to me. I found my HEART. I am calling them "HEARTFELTS" πŸ˜’ I submitted two of my "Heartfelts" to the Upperroom in Nashville, for their monthly devotional magazine. Wish me luck, hoping they will choose one or both of them for the March issue. πŸ˜ I am told the devotionals are interpreted into approximately 29 different languages and sent around the world. (spreading the πŸ€ŸπŸΌ

I am volunteering when and where I can. I found GRATITUDE. My grandchildren talked us into adopting a rescue kitten his name is JOURNEY πŸ˜Έ

I found LAUGHTER. I have made some awesome new FRIENDS.πŸ‘« I found FUN. I have been getting reconnected with πŸŒ³ Nature. I hiked 4 miles to and from Cummings Falls πŸ’§in Cookeville TN. Beautiful views!! I found GODS ART πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸ˜

While in the operating room I had my doctor πŸ‘¨‍⚕cancel my hand surgery he said, "my hand seemed to be healed" πŸ˜✝πŸ™. I found GOD's MIRACLE.

I went on a cruise πŸš’ with 2 beautiful caring souls (mom and aunt) I found time for FAMILY. I danced in a conga line πŸ’ƒ in Mexico. Free shots lol πŸ»

I found FREEDOM to be me. Not holding back, living and loving life. If I want to go to a concert, event or somewhere and everyone busy. I go anyway... Always looking for new adventures, I call them field trips. I have been blessed πŸ•Šand met some incredible new souls on my trips. πŸ˜Š

This Christmas I visited Santa πŸŽ… I found the CHILD in me. πŸ‘Ά I am now an official hugger, so don't stand too close πŸ€— πŸ™ˆ (hugs ).

I found WELCOMING ARMS. πŸ€— I try to share this AMAZING LOVE ❤️❤️ that my heavenly Father has shared with me whenever the opportunity opens. I love it when the person I share Him with responds so positively. It's an amazing feeling and blesses my soul.

I found BLESSINGS. ELOHIM used MUSIC πŸ˜ to open my heart and soul and now I see life in the WOW πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜. I found the LYRICS of many songs touch my soul.

Unfortunately, I did lose a friend that couldn't find it in her heart πŸ’” to stay. I found FORGIVENESS.πŸ˜” But, she does not know. I found PATIENCE.

However, what I gained is amazing πŸ˜€πŸ˜. God is teaching me to LOVE like Him. (a work in progress) I found GRACE. πŸ˜ I am super excited to see how God wants my journey to continue to unfold. 🎢

I pray that He continues to bless my life with love, thus enriching my relationships with.. (God, Family, Friends old and new and the ones to still to be discovered)

Hosanna

Every heart, from every race, with one voice. Will sing your praise, sing your praise. Hosanna, Hosanna - Lyrics

Meaning of hosanna especially in biblical, Judaic, and Christian use) used to express adoration, praise, or joy: “Hosanna, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."

Hosanna occurs in the New Testament 6 times. Matthew, Mark, and John mention that the people called out “Hosanna” in praise and celebration during Jesus’ Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem.

Hosanna in Hebrew means “save, we pray.” it must have been used in prayer in days gone by.

Hosanna such a beautiful word that has so much meaning... However, it seems to have gotten lost in the hustle and bustle of life... Unfortunately, we do not use enough in our world. The only time I have heard this word is in a few songs.. and truly I never knew the true meaning of the word...

It has such a melodic sound as it rolls off our tongues.. why don’t we wake up with this very song in our hearts and sing this song with our mouths as we approach our troubled world each day??

I am of the opinion if we share the essence of His love each moment of each day.  We can begin to make a difference in our daily lives and the world around us...

We need to bring back the use of this word as we praise the victory of our King's return. Hosanna” in praise and celebration of the much anticipated Triumphal return of our love Yeshua. Today we celebrate Him back into our hearts. We celebrate His entry back into our souls and we pray Hosanna to our mighty Warrior to come back to us and “save” us and His world.

It’s just a matter of time. Be ready. Because all eyes will fall upon Him.

It’s Him, It’s always Him.

Hosanna ... sing it loud!!

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” - Mark 11:10

Rest

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will give rest for your souls" Matthew 11:28-30

Meaning of rest an instance or period of relaxing or ceasing to engage in strenuous or stressful activity

The word "rest" literally means to relax in peace; it also implies people's mourning for the dead. In the Bible, the word "rest" appears over two hundred times.

When I closed my eyes to rest my thoughts on the word rest... This mental image appeared... Fall leaves bright orange with beautiful deep hues of red. They danced so gracefully across the ground as the wind gently pushed against the beauty of the moment.

Are we much like leaves in the wind?  Or do our souls yearn for a peaceful existence? Unrest can cause anxiety and fear.

With our world pulling at our time, our hearts, and our obligations? How do we find the precious time to rest?

Exactly what happens to us when we rest?  We can expect our breathing to slow down and our body to relax. "When you wake up, it's almost like you've time-traveled, feeling like you only fell asleep.

I must confess I am having a difficult time writing this word after a full day of activity. Determined to take what we call a time out ... I put on my PJs grabbed my electric blanket sat in my lazy boy... Put on my headphones and tuned in to my favorite playlist.. and away I went to that magical place. Where our worries disappear, where our body becomes limp ... and our mind and soul are free to experience a beautiful blissful state where dreams can whisk our way.

What an amazing gift from our heavenly Father.  He knew our bodies could not keep up with our freed souls... And created rest so our bodies could repair and refuel.. while our soul connects and communes with our Creator  ... I must say when I find Him it is the sweetest, the most love-filled relaxed moments in time... My soul soars with delight and my heart is filled with abundant joy. I could stay there forever... as a matter of fact, I have asked Him to let me stay more than once... But just as this amazing dance begins to pick up momentum... the moment and mood are broken with that familiar annoying buzzer sound.

The alarm..ugh .. hit that snooze button and you try as you might pick up the moment just where you left it? Sadly you discover it has vanished into thin air... but the sweetness of this relaxing getaway lingers on you like the fresh morning dew.

He is amazing!! How did He think of so many wonderful gifts to give His Children???

Well, I have more time. I am going to meditate on Him... I am going to rest on Him... He moves my soul !!

It’s him. It’s always Him!!!

Dance

"If I could steal one final glance, one final step. One final dance with Him. I'd play a song that would never ever end. - Dance with my Father (lyrics)...

Meaning of dance: series of movements that match the speed and rhythm of a piece of music:

The word dance (including danced, dances, and dancing) is used 27 times in the Bible.

This word dance popped into my head and moved rhythmically through my mind. Such an odd word for Holy Week?

Dance or dancing has been an art form since the beginning of time...Dancing has been used to celebrate many of life’s milestones. It has been used in healing, entertainment, grief, and great joy.

I do believe there is a rhythmic pull on our souls... Do we hear our Father's love song calling us home... Are we tuned into His frequency? Are we even listening?

How and what does dancing have to do with the Bible?  I have found that many religions even look down upon or even forbid dancing?

Do you ever wonder how a blind person can dance? They FEEL the beat of the music in their soul... hmm

It has been recorded that some Biblical characters even danced before the Lord. So what type of dance do you think it was? Freestyle, Ballroom, Line Dancing ... Hip Hop? Hmm, How about that beautiful waltz. Is dancing in adoration for God a lost art form? Do we worry about what others might think or say?

I do believe dancing with Him even metaphorically depends on our relationship with our Lord and Savior, the amazing Lover of our souls.

Do we take His loving hand and glide through this life? Are our steps in sync with each step He takes? Or are we even listening to the same song?? Or are we sitting this one out??

Then I remembered when I studied World War I, we were taught that at social gatherings many women had dance cards. And the gentlemen would place their name on a women’s card just to have the honor and privilege to dance with her ....  And as the evening progressed they would get a turn to dance with their chosen one... Did their heart flutter with excitement to be in such close contact?

Wikipedia says this: in modern times the expression "dance card" is often used metaphorically, as when someone says "pencil me into your dance card," meaning "find some time to spend with me". Conversely, claiming one's "dance card is full" implies that even though they may be interested, they have no time for another person.

So I ask you is Jesus on your dance card? Is He penciled in? Are we truly dancing with Jesus or are we just dancing around Him ?? Who are we fooling?

We must fill our dance card with Jesus... He is the most amazing teacher of this dance we call life!!!  You won’t want to miss a beat... Get your dancing shoes and join me and let's celebrate Him today!!! Let’s celebrate His life! Let our feet glide through life with Him... Let Him lead us on the most amazing journey we will ever encounter.

It's Him, It’s always Him... He is such a romantic...

“Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty, and he loves to give them victory.”Psalms 149:3-4 TPT

“And David danced before the Lord with all his might; David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet

2 Samuel 6:14 NASB

"Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.”

Psalms 150:4 AMP

Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced. And Miriam sang this song: “Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.””

Exodus 15:13, 20-21 NL

The "GIFT"

True love is about what happens beyond this Life. It's about a loving relationship with our Creator and cherishing the greatest gift you will ever be blessed to discover... It's Him!

The meaning of gift: a thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present:

The word "gift" is in the King James Version of the Bible 59 times. It is in 52 verses.

If today you were given the news that you had only a few days to live ... In a matter of moments, many thoughts would flood your mind. Your heart would ache and your soul would grieve and possibly begin to weep...

Do we cherish this gift of life or do we squander the moments??  Do we only place value on this gift when we are faced with that pivotal moment leading to our last breath?

When we open the clues that are locked within the words of the Bible we can find The greatest Gift of life...

It’s a gift that speaks life. It's a gift that speaks love. It looks at death as not the end but as a new exciting beginning. It crosses time. It crosses all boundaries. Its purity, and holds such wondrous beauty. It can not be contained and breathes the sweetness of life to our weary souls ...

Most of us have felt the joy and excitement of receiving “a” gift... But what do we feel when we receive “The Gift”... There are NO earthy words to even begin to describe it!!  It leaves us speechless.

Has the question crossed our minds? What sacrifice did God make to give us “The Gift”!

Did He expect too much from mankind? Did He hope that maybe He miss read our hearts? He gave us “The Greatest Gift” He gave us the most beautiful part of Himself... We opened this gift and found such beauty, such grace, and such an amazing heart... It’s Him... Many call Him Jesus...

But did we squander the moments? Did we value His life? Did we listen to His voice calling to our hearts?

History has proven we let Him down... We allowed greed, hate, and fear, to rip this amazing earthly gift from our unworthy hands...

Some hearts were wounded... Some turned their backs... Some washed their hands... Some grieved deeply but were powerless to stop this horrific moment in time...

This story has been passed down through generations. It speaks of a man with a heavenly connection... It speaks of His purity and His great love..and the horrific suffering He endured, to give His children the monumental gift of eternal life. He gave Himself to all of mankind...

Reflecting on this moment wounds my heart.. grieves my soul and brings tears of pain.

And then my mind raced to God the Father...Do we ask ourselves, what did He feel?  His heart must have shattered, His soul must have grieved the deepest grief... Tears must have flowed. Many say He turn away?

He had the power to stop this act of torture, against His beautiful Son. Why, did He allow this ?? How did He allow this ??? It truly boggles our minds.

I can only relate on a very very tiny scale... As a parent, we love our children and many would give their own life for their child...

So, why did God let this happen?

Jesus is God in the flesh... He did not turn away. He sees the big picture... He knows our future. He knows every hair on every head. He held us close to His heart even before we were born.

He gave His own human life for His child “You and me".... He sacrificed His human body to give us “The Gift” the gift of life and love for eternity.

The question becomes, Will we remember and honor this gift? Will we embrace it? Will we be grateful? Or will we squander the moments?

Will we love Him with all of mind, body, and soul for even making this gift a possible option!

It truly is a choice to accept this gift.

I can only share with you that I have felt this gift stirring deep within my soul... And without any doubt, it is The greatest Gift” we can ever be blessed to know...

It’s Him, It’s always Him

He is the "Gift of a lifetime" Don't squander even one moment.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Matthew 6:1-4

Forsaken

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

 Forsaken meaning abandoned or deserted.

There are approximately 57 passages about the word forsaken.

This is such a heartfelt word. It wounds my soul... Have you ever felt abandoned or deserted? There are times in our lives that people in our lives do not even know the harm they cause by being so callous...

When I researched the pages of the Bible for answers... It did not make me feel any better. This hurtful word cuts into my heart like a knife. I have felt this pain. But when I analyze the cause it truly was for a superficial reason. But it did cause me great anguish and heartache. I could only imagine the magnitude of abandonment Jesus felt.

So when we witness our beautiful Savior and know He felt forsaken by the people who loved him the most. And then He had to endure the most hurtful abandonment of all. It’s when He suffered and struggled to let go of this human life.. and He cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Matt 27:46 KJV

Let that moment sit in your heart for just a moment. This type of wound had to be worse than the physical pain He endured. I know God had a plan and why Jesus came. But it boggles my mind and I find myself asking why? Why would you do this for such unworthy people?

I do feel as a parent you would give your life for your child. How and why did God the Father allow His child to suffer this pain?

I do believe the Trinity is so closely knitted together, that God the Father suffered on the cross with the very part of Him that we know as His son. He is the ultimate parent and He did not want His children to suffer. You see He is the God of the bigger picture. The child He saved by sacrificing that beautiful part of Himself that He calls His beloved Son, is you and me… He never abandoned His Son.. and He will never abandon any of His children. He died to give us that golden ticket to Heaven.  We know Him as Yashua.

But let's take this word one step further. Let's ask ourselves will we abandon Him? Or will be strong enough to endure this life. Will we be strong enough to tell the world of His amazing LOVE? Or do we hide behind His blood-stained cross? I say don’t forsake Him!

It's Him. It's always Him.

Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee Deuteronomy 31:6

Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me Psalms 38:21

Callous Heart

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. 4 Luke 6:35...

I originally posted this post on Oct. 2020. But I stumbled over it again this week and felt it in my soul to share it once again.

When someone is not thoughtful and opens a wound in the heart of another and selfishly turns away.  Are they so self-absorbed they can not see the injury they cause or does it go much deeper? Turning away no matter the reason is callous and does not diminish the action that caused the pain. It does not make the pain nonexistent. It can actually make the wound deeper and takes the wound longer to heal.  Turning away is something I will never understand ??? I hope and pray that I could never be that person. My heart would not allow my mind to rest knowing I caused anyone that kind of pain.πŸ’”

Jesus knows this kind of pain, He personally has felt the anguish that this type of action causes.   He trusted 12 men that walked the earth with Him.  They all professed to love Him and they all acted like His friend. Callously one by one they all turned away. Leaving Him to stand alone in His darkest hour and yet ... HE LOVED  them anyway...  His strength along with His indescribable LOVE for us reaches far beyond heaven and earth. This kind of  LOVE  boggles my mind and leaves me standing in awe... I cried out, please teach me how to love like you do.

My Father's love and time have taught me when your heart is wounded by someone and you can find it in your soul not to callously respond.  But, instead, you reach out and offer them your unconditional love, expecting nothing in return...   That my friend is how and when the greatest internal transformation of your heart occurs. The chains are broken, the wounds heal, and you are freed to experience the most incredible unselfish love known to mankind! You will be filled with an unexplainable peace in your heart and a deep understanding that will soothe your soul. It's amazing!

Our Father will always welcome us with the warmth of his open arms, He will never turn us away .. NEVER ...  He WOWs me!!! πŸ˜

It's Him, It's always Him

Please watch the video

πŸ™ My Prayer πŸ™

Life on earth can change in the blink of an eye. So, I ask our Father to guide us in this troubled world.. Help us be filled with his light, allowing us to show his love, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness to anyone that may cross our path. If we can help touch one hurting heart and let them know, It's going to be OK our father is a great healer of hearts...  He is the prince of peace. He offers us, unconditional LOVE. All we need to do is open our hearts to Him. And His LOVE will take us on the most incredible journey of our LIVES.

I am grateful for the gift of you!
