Crazy

If we seem crazy, it is to glorify God. If we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. Either way, Christ's love controls us. 2 Corinthians 5:13-21

The meaning of crazy is extreme foolishness or irrationality. It’s crazy that words you would think are not in the Bible are pressed within its wisdom!! It was no different with the word insane; we found 23 verses!

Many of us are judgmental when we view others.  If their behavior is not what we consider “normal,” we tend to think they are a little crazy or insane…

But I ask who placed the boundaries on what is “normal”?  Or what is “acceptable” in our circles of life?

During my journey, I have seen and felt this judgmental spirit… To the point of questioning my sanity and behavior.

On the first day of my spiritual encounter, things began to change… The mundane everyday existence that I had grown comfortable with began to unravel. Things became exciting, and God's love taught me that there is MORE…

And my thoughts shifted, and my “normal” behavior began its spiritually enlightened journey, and my once-bound life took flight… Many thought that I had lost my mind… perhaps I would need medical advice? Mid-life crisis? But none of these was the correct diagnosis…

I had been touched by God… And for that, there is NO cure… because there is no illness.

Loving Him is our soul’s purpose.  I will admit He gave my life new meaning…. I grew closer to Him as others watched ... Some judgmental souls became distant. But their curious hearts continued to watch me unfold from a distance.

I gained so much more depth, love, and understanding… He made my life richer, and my quest to know more about Him continues… He placed a hunger in my soul that cannot be contained.

This word came to me today as I watch what many people will view as crazy behavior as it unfolds… on all social media platforms. Many have caught the spiritually enlightened bug of love from God.

People watching, like me, have this desire to go there and connect with the souls that have felt His stirring in their parched souls... Some will raise their hands and praise Elohim where they stand in unity.  Some will think these souls have lost their minds… “Insanity” is rampant in many places around the world.

No social status that is immune… I had my own experience six years ago, and I know first-hand that God shows no favoritism in color, race, age, or gender; we are all His children. And He is calling all His beautiful souls…  But the ones who listen to His voice seem to be chosen…
Are you listening?

We live in a world of judgment, especially when we do not understand. I have lived in His love and have difficulty putting this spiritual love into words…

But if I am labeled insane because of people’s lack of knowledge. So be it. I would not change His gift of love for all the riches on earth.

So, as we watch others raise their hands and utter prayers with new and beautiful excitement, don’t judge. Fall on your knees, listen…and find your purpose!!

We were created to love God and others no matter what others think...Yes, I admit I am crazy… crazy about Him! It will always be Him.

He gave me the courage not to be bothered by what others think. It's taken me a while to get there. LOL. BUT,

He gets me more than anyone. He knows me better than I know myself… and yet He accepted me with all my flaws and promised to love me to the end of time.

I am excited to witness His love touching so many souls. They are our future … They will carry His name and love for future generations.  We are all His legacy.

Let’s raise our hands in unity; one day, we will be one people under the one and only living God.

Elohim…

What’s the definition of insanity again? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

Who would not want to feel loved over and over again? Is that insane??  I say not. I pray you agree…

If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God . . . 2 Corinthians 5:13

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:9

Laughter in the Bible ??

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 13:15

Laugher appears in 25 verses in the bible.

Meaning to make the spontaneous sounds and movements of the face and body that are the instinctive expressions of lively amusement.

When I look at the Bible and the words inscribed within its pages, I do encounter laughter. It’s a term that may not immediately come to mind. This led me to these questions: Does our heavenly Father possess a sense of humor? Is laughter a part of the divine realm?  I believe these thoughts are worth exploring further.

I have found when we deal with our Creator, there is always more!!! So, on my quest to discover more, I surprisingly found several verses documenting laughter in the Bible. However, from there, my thoughts drifted here. How can there be this amazing, uncontainable joy without smiles and joyous laughter? I say it's impossible!! 😀

Then I questioned why He wanted us to come as children. Have you ever watched children play? They have such an innocent joy that they burst into the most amazing giggles and broad laughter!!  It’s like heavenly music to our ears. I do believe our Father loves hearing our Joy!! So do not hold back. Find that inner child that lives within your soul.  Enjoy all the special moments of this life. Smile and burst out in uncontrollable laughter often. Keep making heavenly music to God’s ears!

Furthermore, I also questioned why children hold a special place in Jesus's heart. If you've observed or studied children, they gravitate towards kindness, gentleness, and love.  They trust and are drawn to a fun-loving and caring heart, not to a grumpy and withdrawn soul. In my mind's eye, I see our Creator and His Son as beings of immense love and joy, offering us a love that surpasses our understanding. They bring us a joy that can't be explained, a joy that makes our hearts burst into giggles and spontaneous laughter.

I have found that Laughter is the best medicine for our souls! It is a gift from God. Use it, Share it!! Do it often!! Enjoy each person and moment of every day!! Knowing in your heart that laughter is an amazing gift from God.

”A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance” Ecclesiastes 3:4

”He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouting” Job 8:21

And Sarah said God hath made me to laugh. Genesis 21:6 -

Even in laughter, the heart may be in pain, And the end of joy may be grief. Proverbs 14:13

Personal

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us.” (1 John 4:10)

The meaning of personal - of or concerning one's private life, relationships, and emotions rather than matters connected with one's public or professional career:

The word personal is referred to 121 times in the Bible.

But what does it mean? Many of us have been taught that each man, woman, and child has their own space. And unless you are invited in, you must stay out or be ready to defend your position.

(It could prove to be a painful experience)

Like me, many of you have heard over the years we must have a “personal relationship with Jesus” to reap the benefits of His gift of life and love.  So, my question becomes ... How? Why? Where? And when?

1. How - Just how deep do you want to feel His LOVE?

2. Why - Because we will never be complete without Him.

3. Where - We think of a physical location! But it is a spiritual walk of the heart and soul.

4. When - I feel the sooner, the better. Like many, I have had a late start but now feel I am in the race.

I believe there are degrees of a “personal relationship” with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I can only speak of my experience. And how my walk went from head knowledge to feeling Him stirring in my heart to a love I carry deep within my soul. I will simplify them into Personal Phases.

Phase 1

Over my many non-religious years, I knew the story of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; it was a clinical understanding derived from Hollywood Movies and the very occasional visit to some church for reasons other than learning about the Trinity.

I knew of Him on a superficial level.

Phase II

I had a Holy Spirit encounter that planted a desire in my heart to know more about Him, and the chase began. He became an important player in my daily activities. I began including Him more and more each day. I spoke to Him like a friend I have had all my life, and a trusting relationship began to grow as I discovered deeper details about Him.

My heart and mind began to open to the possibilities of a greater love.  It's a love greater than I have ever known. I began to appreciate His beauty, grace, and unconditional love. As I study Him daily, I find He is teaching me more about who I truly am. He has freed my bound heart and given me wings to fly.  I say I am a work in progress. And He is not finished with me yet. Isn't it a beautiful thought that our growing knowledge of Him will never end?

Phase III

Like any relationship, the more you invest in yourself, the more vulnerable you become and the deeper you let them penetrate your heart.  At that very moment, you realize you are free to surrender your heart and fall in love. It's no different with God, but His love is not of this world. It's a love greater than you have ever known. It's HIM!

It’s a spiritual love greater than we have ever experienced. It’s a deep love from our soul. It’s when God becomes as important as the air we breathe.  We will find that place of intimacy in our soul.  We may be moved to tears of joy. We will feel this indescribable love, consume your soul. And life will burst into a beautiful rainbow of brilliant colors.

You will find that this intimate place is reserved for a party of two you and your Creator. He knew that one day we would find Him waiting there to love you on such an amazing spiritual level. He has instilled a hunger within us from birth. To crave an intimate communion with Him that only He can satisfy.

A friend asked me today who in the Bible had an intimate relationship with God and how we know that they did.

I will turn to a favorite quote by Nicholas Sparks.

The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that's what you've given me. That's what I'd hoped to give you forever.

I believe that the ones we have grown to know in the Bible and in our lives have had or are in an intimate relationship with God. Are the ones that show it in their daily lives. With His strength, they forge the way for others. They openly speak of His greater love. They realize they are not perfect but walk in His mercy and grace. Even with doubts, they listen and act on His direction. They are a witness to Him by their actions, and they, above all, share His amazing love with anyone who will listen.

I found this quote spoke to my soul many months ago.

To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him is the greatest human achievement. St. Augustine of Hippo

It’s Him; it’s always Him.

The question becomes just how deep you want your

"Personal Relationship" with Him to be???

Validation

For am I now seeking the approval of man or God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 ESV

Meaning of validation, the action of checking or proving the validity or accuracy of something:

I could not validate how many times this word appears in the Bible. I believe it's because it may not be in print, but every believer’s goal is to be validated by our Heavenly Father.

Many of us run through life looking for that stamp of approval. Do we belong? Do we fit in? What makes us yearn to be validated by others?

Are they experts in life? Do they have the experience because they traveled the road before us?  I believe they have acquired a skill set that we may not have, and we can certainly learn a valuable lesson! But do we need validation from someone who has their hidden insecurities, frailties, and agenda?

When we look for validation for the wrong reasons, it could fall short of our expectations and wound our souls.

God has already validated us with His love and the sacrifice of His beautiful Son Jesus.

Ultimately, we should only seek validation from the Creator of all things. He is the only sovereign leader. He is without blemish. He is a fair and just lover of our souls.

But do we only believe this with our minds? Or do we feel it in our hearts? Do our lives and our actions reflect Him and His teachings?

I firmly believe we will always have His love, and as children of God, we have His stamp of approval. However, He expects us to grow and become everything He knows we can be.

Heaven's gate is the destination where we will receive our proper validation, our stamp of approval from our amazing Savior, Our beautiful King. We may even be blessed to hear Him say. Come in, my child, well done!!  That will be a fantastic moment in time.

It’s Him! It’s Him!  Forever and ever, amen!

He'll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high.   Psalms 37:6

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings, Psalms 17:8

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23

Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

Legacy

“The two most important days in life are the day you born and the day you find out why.” – Mark Twain

There are approximately thirty-three verses about legacy in the Bible...

Legacy is a word typically discussed when the inevitable happens. It is mainly thought of when someone we love transitions from one dimension of time and space to another. We like to think that they made it to Heaven.

The word legacy brought me to these questions. What am I leaving behind? How will I be remembered? Will my life make a mark on this planet? What do my family and friends honestly think of me? Is our legacy a tangible object? Does it come down to our "possessions”? Is that how we value life?

Possessions are fleeting. Our character and loving memories are the most valuable assets we can leave with the souls we leave behind.

In my lifetime, I have witnessed that some people consider "possessions " essential. Some feel they cannot live without the “things” they have collected. It seems many gain perspective when they are facing their mortality.

Some may not have cared about your well-being while you were here, but they will selfishly look to gain something valuable from what you've left behind.

Some possess an unselfish heart and love you deeply. Your relationship will leave a lasting imprint on their hearts. They will carry you with them wherever life takes them. They may want a precious item with little to no earthly value to feel close to the one who made them feel wanted and loved.

Have we thought about this word on a larger scale? Do we understand the spiritual potential that awaits? We have been gifted a legacy of magnificent proportions! It’s a legacy of royalty... It’s a legacy of riches beyond physical “possessions." It’s a legacy of love that runs through our lives like a scarlet thread.  It's woven into our life’s tapestry deeper than we realize.

Jesus is that scarlet thread. He is our legacy. He has promised us eternal life, and His love will travel with us from this world to the next.

With Him as our precious guide, we should ask ourselves:

How do I want to be remembered? What am I leaving behind? Will I lovingly leave my imprint on anyone’s heart?

I pray that when people talk about my legacy, they speak of “God’s Love” and how His love changed my life. He has taught me the importance of all relationships and introduced me to love beyond my earthly understanding! He gave me the boldness to show my vulnerability to the world.

He is my legacy!!

It’s Him. It’s always Him!

His legacy is an amazing love story for all of His children!!

I beg you, don’t miss Him or His legacy of love for this world!

If children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Romans 8:17

Stand

'It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.' - J.K. Rowling...

The means of stand… "stand" is translated from the Greek histemi; in this context, it means "to continue, endure, or persist."

Do we have the strength to withstand our corrupted culture? Has our world become so twisted that we have forgotten our morals, beliefs, and beauty of life??

Why have we removed our Creator’s name from His Creations?

This is plagiarism on steroids!!!

Are our churches buying into the rhetoric of counting the heads in each pew? Are we measuring success by the size of the building… Has our worship become so structured that they have squelched the free movement of the Holy Spirit?

How can we shake off the chains and free ourselves to take His clean air into our lungs??

Can we stand up and be counted as a lover of Christ? Can we boldly raise our hands and say, Lord, I am here! Count me in!!!

I will admit it takes courage to set ourselves apart. It takes His gift of love to teach us how to live and save ourselves from the darkness that is just waiting to consume our world…

It takes the Holy Spirit to gift us the boldness to step out and share our Savior with the world!

SOS.…… Please save our souls.

We ALL need Him! Why can't the masses see Him? Why can't they love Him? He is our only saving grace!

I say wake up, people!!! We must stand Shoulder to Shoulder, Brother to Brother, Sister to Sister, and Share Him with the masses! Share His love with anyone who will listen…

It's Him!! It is always Him!!

Stand with me, raise your hand, and boldly say, “Elohim.” Count me in!!!

Father, I love you. I am your child today, tomorrow, and until the end of time!!

*Elohim is plural…. The Father, His beautiful Son, and His wonderous Holy Spirit… my 3N1

Might by Joann Turnbull

“Thinking of you keeps me awake. Dreaming of you keeps me asleep. Being with you keeps me alive.” – Unknown

OK.  We must love Him with all our heart, soul, and might.

Might is an interesting word.  We might do something, or it might mean strength or power.  To love Him with all your might is a tall order.  Most of us might do it now, or for many of us, we might not do it.

Loving Him with all my heart, soul, and might is a verse that resonates deeply within me.  It is not just a commandment but a call to love Him with a passion that engulfs every part of our being, surpassing any feeling we have ever experienced.

In John 21, Jesus asked the apostle Peter, “Do you burn with love for Me?”   Peter answered, “You know I have great affection for You.” That was not the answer Jesus was looking for.

When we burn with love for Him, we don’t want to do anything to displease Him or hurt Him.  How do we know what would displease Him?  What would grieve Him?   We can even know the word by taking heed of His word and not obeying it.  To burn with love for Him is to feel that love grip your heart and soul with such might, power, and ongoing strength that you never want to let go for any reason.

You can’t explain that love for Him you feel deep within.  His power can make it difficult to utter a word or leave you stuck to a chair where you can’t move.  Loving Him with all your might is the greatest emotion our hearts can achieve.

Trusting Him is one thing, but loving Him with all your might is a deep and gripping feeling of love that grows stronger daily. It is a commitment, a dedication to keep the flame of love burning within us.

My thoughts have been rambling.  Please excuse me, but feeling that burning love that starts with a spark and becomes a flame never dies down.

Embark on a journey to seek Him with all your might, for He will become the lover of your heart and soul in this pursuit! This is not a mere task but a transformative process that will touch you deeply.

Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah: and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Enamored

"The only way love can last a lifetime is if it's unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love." ~ Stephen Kendric...

Enamored means filling or inflaming with love and being affected by strong feelings of love, admiration, or fascination.

The word Enamored only appears in one instance in the Bible.

How do I love thee? What is this love that has ignited in my soul? How are our hearts drawn to this Heavenly adoration for the Godly man who walked the earth so long ago?

It is a baffling spiritual phenomenon that is so hard to put into words…  and, at best, difficult to understand?

Do we burn with a love for Him? Does His spiritual existence consume our thoughts? Do we accept His teachings?

Or do we treat Him like a passing fancy? Is He here to fulfill our wishes?? Do we take Him for granted?

He is so much more—so loving, so deep, and such a beautiful soul.

Once smitten by His love, there is no turning back… You will be drawn to the overwhelming love, peace, and joy that He brings. You will yearn to feel His presence. You will crave those personal quiet moments with Him! Your world will seem brighter and filled with Hope… He teaches our hearts the art of forgiveness and completes a void in our souls…

How does His Holiness love us so deeply that He has never given up?  He has defied a torturous death to save us. He shares a burning love that cannot be contained. It spills out on His children, and they, in turn, share it with others…  It’s a tidal wave that I pray will one day cover the earth.

He has taken residence in my soul, and I will openly admit I am enamored with Him and His love story!  His love has smitten me, and I know in my heart and soul only He holds the keys to my future.

The Godly man who walked the earth! The God who created me in His loving hands… And the Spirit that dwells within my soul…Are my 3n1.

It’s Him! It will always be Him.

1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. From the beginning in Eden, God's love has always pursued us, and He continues to pursue us through the love of Jesus Christ.

Self - absorbed

Hide yourself in God, so when a man wants to find you he will have to go there first. - Shannon L. Alder

Meaning of self-absorbed preoccupied with one's own feelings, interests, or situation:

 “So God created man in His own image;

So where and when did this train get derailed? Where are the life and love teachings of Jesus? Are our core values on vacation??? Have they eroded with time?

Have we become so self-absorbed that we have taken our eye off the ball?

How do we get back to that simple, that wholesome way of life??? Where relationship mattered? Where life mattered? Where love mattered?

It saddens me when I see our world... It wounds my heart to think that we lost our grip... Have we have become callous in our hearts...

Do we chase success so hard that we leave others in our wake?? Do we turn away before we take the time to understand? Or

Are you one of the hearts that truly cares?

Are we a selfish or selfless society ??? Do we truly deeply care ... or do we hit the like button and run... to the next victim or

Do we stop and truly try to make a difference in our world???

God created man in His image... He created our heart as well... Does our heart reflect His LOVE ??? Or have we dimmed His light?  I do not claim to have all the answers! But I do think we can make a difference... We can be less aggressive... we can be more understanding, more loving, more caring, or just plain... kind...

We can be that heart that can make the difference in someone’s day with just a smile and a kind word... or just STOP...

And say simply say I LOVE You... God loves you ... and mean it! Let’s not be a hollow image of God... Let’s learn how to shine to His light once again... let’s learn to live this life from the best teacher I have grown to LOVE... Jesus...

It’s Him. It’s always Him.

And I am a work in progress!  Never forget GOD LOVES YOU!

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:4

Kindness

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” Princess Diana.

The meaning of kindness - the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Kindness can be found in the Bible 101 times.

Do we practice kindness from a genuine place in our hearts? Or do we show kindness only during a seasonal time of year, just for others to witness, or only when it’s convenient?

I have witnessed and feel we practice these acts better at certain times of the year. Like Christmas and Easter. Why doesn't the act of kindness follow us every day for life?

To truly see the ugliness of human behavior, we just need to scroll through our social media feeds or watch the news. It is a heartbreaker.

We all have our daily battles. We have all been touched by sickness: war, famine, and nature’s fury.

It's time to understand that we are doing this together. We must reach out with empathy, compassion, kindness, and, most of all, love for our fellow humans ....

Why wait? Start TODAY! Open your heart, smile, and lend a hand where needed...

To simplify this, I have always taught my children that they should not say anything at all if they do not have something nice to say.

I hope our world does not become silent, unless it is to pray to our Creator to open our hearts to a LOVE that is greater than we will ever experience.

It’s Him; It’s always Him.

Let's make our Heavenly Father proud of His Children's behavior... one act at a time...

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. Galatians 5:22

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8
