The attraction is only intense when mystery is involved.

Meaning of mystery something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain.

The word mystery is in the Bible approximately 43 times

Wow this word is so deep!  There are so many that, we do not understand in this life.. Our physical mind tries to gather the facts and then attempts to analyze the input and attempts to come to a reasonable conclusion..  

There are many mysteries in our world.. But when we cross the line and look at the spiritual world of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit they are so vast they are beyond the realm of human thinking. 

Sure there are facts that we can gather and get a better understanding and grow our head knowledge of the Trinity. But there are things we will never truly know while our hearts continue to beat here on earth..

I will admit I have been on the most amazing discovery journey of my life.. With God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I have only begun to, scratch the surface.

However, I see, hear, and feel His mystery at every turn... The excitement of knowing Him creates a magnetic pull on our hearts.. and fills our souls with a hunger to know more and more of Him. 

I do envision Him as a very skilled lover of our souls.. He knows when to love, He knows when to wait, He knows when and how to reveal that peek into His Heart.. He knows us so well He knows what will speak to our soul and how to keep our interest.. it’s a mystery to me How He keeps us all straight? 

Once we have felt His Love we will have a insatiable desire to chase Him.. I do believe that part of the mystery is when we start to (think)with our spiritual hearts.. Because that is where we begin to get a clearer image of who He truly is. It’s there when we begin to witness such wonder and feel His presence within our soul.. I do believe His mystery is part of the very essence of who He is...  I am finding God’s mystery can be found in His capacity to LOVE.. In His Beautiful Son and In His very breath that we grow to know as the Holy Spirit...  His mystery captures hearts.. 

It’s Him, It’s  Him. 

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ. Colossians 2:2 NIV

Meaning of Rain:  moisture condensed from the atmosphere that falls visibly in separate drops:

In the KJV Bible, Rain is mentioned approximately 94 times. 

The rain has such an amazing cycle. The four stages of this cycle consist of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection.  

This Heavenly gift is such a substantial product for our very existence. And has danced upon this earth since the beginning of time. It is even recorded in scriptures that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights... And a flood cleansed the earth giving us the opportunity of a do-over!! Well, when I look around I am concerned about just how well God thinks we are doing??? Hmm. 

Not to dwell on that question because I do believe it could cause some anxiety and many heated discussions. So I will take the high ground and move on... 

Did you know our bodies are made up of over 50 percent water? Water is responsible for photosynthesis, which produces breathable oxygen. Water is also responsible for our food supply... I could go on... But I will ask you... 

Have you truly looked at the rain... Have you ever just stopped and listened to its rhythmic sound? There is such beauty with each droplet as it comes racing toward the ds earth and then with a sudden stop, it is dispersed into multiple droplets that quench the parched ground and bring forth new life...Rain also has such beautiful cleansing properties... 

When I think of Raindrops... I see them much like our tears. They both fall when things become heavy..  and when they fall they cleanse the air or the soul... 

When we take the moments to stop and see all the amazing wonders our Heavenly Father thought of in just seven days it boggles the mind...He is truly the only amazing wonder !! 

It's Him. It's always Him.

Meaning of hymns a religious song or poem of praise to God. 

Originally modeled on the Book of Psalms and other poetic passages (commonly referred to as "canticles") in the Scriptures Christian hymns are generally directed as praise to the Christian God. Many refer to Jesus Christ either directly or indirectly.

Music has played such a significate role in my journey.  I became quite excited when I discovered Music living within the passages of the Bible and they all point to our Heavenly Loves. The Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit. 

As I researched this word and tried to understand what make a song a Hymn? I discovered there is a controversy around Hymns VS Worship music.. Some have defined hymns as singing about God, while newer worship songs are singing to God. However, that in itself is interchangeable depending who you are speaking with. 

Many studies have proven music can have benefits to our cardiovascular health. The potential benefits suggest that Music can directly trigger physiological changes that modulate blood pressure, heart rate and respiration.

So how did this happen?  How did man find this melodic way of speaking to our Father’s heart?  I am a firm believer.  It must have started with the beat of His loving heart. Every beat of the human heart represents His gift of life … Our very own body is a rhythmic beat planned by God.. From the heart beat to the blood that travels though our bodies making up our pulse… There is such a subtleness about His gift of music. We carry it wherever we go..

So I do believe in our quest to offer God gifts in exchange for His gift of Life and Love. Man attempted to give God gifts that would please our Creator. Many offerings were made.. But the very beat of their hearts and the pulse of life, created beats of life that were songs to God's ears… 

These very beats along with our prayer language merged into songs of adoration for our Creator.  It is my belief that when we sing songs of praise and worship He is well pleased. What an amazing way to celebrate life with the very one who breathed life into our existence. With the beat.. the beat of life and love and words from the heart… 

It's my opinion Hymns and Worship songs are very much the same.. Hymns seems to be a formal expression of love.. And Worship Songs are a Hymn style song that has evolved over time.. So I say it is up to the heart and soul that is communicating with our Heavenly Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit… Just feel His Heart BEAT and let the music play.

It’s Him, It’s always Him

Its Hymn.  FEEL IT! SING IT!  TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL!!  

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;

Many will see and fear

Meaning of delicate easily broken or damaged; fragile. 

The word delicate is referenced in 62 verses in the Bible.

The word delicate came to mind as soft as a whisper. It penetrated my heart and lingered on my mind with a scent of love. It moved like a raindrop on a window pain.. it can be heard in a newborn baby's cry. 

Our skin can feel the delicate breeze against our skin. 

Our lives are a sweet delicate gift from our Heavenly Father.  

His romance moves our souls to bloom like a delicate flower. His voice can come as a faint whisper or a roaring thunder. He loves us so much He gave us His delicate baby boy. 

This beautiful life.. grew into an amazing man that has been loved and cherished by many. But there were those that scoffed and wounded His body and soul. He was such an amazing man that He continues to offer love and forgiveness to anyone who may have wounded His heart. He offers anyone who craves that delicate love, a beautiful relationship. He speaks to our delicate hearts words of love. 

His presence leaves that scent of love that can lift you to a higher realm of existence.  This love will penetrate your heart and linger for eternity.. He comes as soft and delicate as a breeze against our skin. Just one drop of His blood can move mountains.. He is delicate... in His touch but He is a mighty warrior. 

How does He know how to give us what we need? How is it that He can touch my heart so tenderly and fight your battle and yet see and hear that delicate baby’s cry all the same time? Who can be everything to everyone? How does He keep it straight?  I do know there is strength in numbers and when you combine the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit there is nothing that can not be accomplished.  Together They radiate a beautiful spiritual love that can boggle the mind. They are a force of power that can not be stopped.. 

I for one search for Them daily. As I meditated today I felt Their delicate whisper across my skin. My heart leapt as His presence was felt in my soul. We can see their mighty power as they work wonders in our lives. We just need to be open to receive this beautiful delicate gift of LOVE. We are will always be a delicate part of Him. 

It’s Him. it’s always Him

Revelation 21:1-27 

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. 

Agape is a term referring to love, "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for man and of man for God". 

Skin the thin layer of tissue forming the natural outer covering of the body of a person or animal:

There are 29 verses in the Bible about skin. 

Do we ever just think of skin? What is it? What is it’s purpose?? Did you know that our skin is made up of 60 percent water 💦...

When this curious word came to us to study? I thought Skin what an odd thing to study when this is a Bible word study.  

And then my mind went in many different directions. Skin is amazing as it protects and holds all things together for a greater purpose.. human life.

I thought of the ones who have suffered from skin issues. In Biblical times many suffered from a skin diseased know as leprosy they were cast away and treated unkindly?  It is written Jesus healed them from their own internal prison.  

Unfortunately, there are times even today. That some treat others as though they have this dreaded illness. Which brings such heartfelt pain.

I do believe skin is skin it may carry different pigmentation but at the end of the day, it’s still skin. Making all mankind the same yet uniquely different.

And then there are many quotes about skin.. but the one that stands out the most in my mind is a quote from renowned investor Warren Buffett “Skin in the game.” 

Which clearly points are you all in? Will you stand strong and take the risk? So we must ask ourselves when it comes to our Heavenly Father, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit are we all in? Do we have our “skin in the game” of life? 

Or do we give our Creator one day a week? One devotion per day? Or one closing prayer at night? 

Each of us will have different degrees of skin in the game? 

10%, 50%, 75% or 100%..let’s be real honest? Only you and our Creator knows the answer.

I do know from reading His word the 3N1 has 100% of Skin in the Game. He has proven it time and time again. 

It’s Him, it’s always Him 

"Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires, but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires." Romans 8:5, NIV:

Meaning of courageous: not deterred by danger or pain; brave.

The word courageous is used six times in the (KJV) bible.

What is it in our human makeup that makes some of us courageous in times of trouble and some of us crumble like a cookie?? Some are willing to give up their own lives to save someone they do not even know. 

When trouble arises do we run to help? Or do we run away and hide ?? Life has many challenges, health, financial, relationships. During my life, I have witnessed single parents having the courage to step up to the plate for their children time and time again. I have seen friends come and stand firm and offer a shoulder when life got  messy. I have seen families hold each other up during life trials.  I have witnessed courage in the face of life-threatening illnesses. 

I do believe courage comes in all sizes from the simplest gesture to the biggest heroic event. But where and how do we get the strength to execute this type of courage? 

In my quest to understand this word I looked to people that in my opinion have shown courage. And I found that each one has a uniqueness about the act. However, there is one thing that I have witnessed. It is not seen in all who display courage. There are some that have this beautiful peace that can be seen and felt when you are around them. 

How do they have such peace, such courage, such love ?? There does seem to be a common denominator. It seems to come from a deep place within the soul. It is a God-given unexplainable peace and strength.. sometimes it boggles the mind... 

I do feel we should keep God closer than our own skin.. because life is fragile and having Him in our lives before we are put through any test definitely gives us a Divine edge.  Don’t wait. Have the courage to stand up and make Him the center of your life.. and reap the rewards now !! He is the true gift of life! 

It’s Him, it’s always Him 

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

The clock is always clicking.. don't waste a moment. Tell someone you love them before its too late.

Meaning of time: the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.

"travel through space and time.”.  a point of time as measured in hours and minutes past midnight or noon.

There are approximately 21 verses in the Bible about time.

When did we become a society driven by the tick-tock of a clock? We are always in a rush. Deadlines to meet. Meeting to attended?  We juggle work, home, family, friends? Where does the time go? Do you remember when you were a child it seemed that your birthday and other holidays seem they would never come? But as adults birthdays and holidays come so fast they make our heads spin?? 

Somehow, I feel we need to get back to the basics of stopping long enough to appreciate and make the most out of each given moment. I know we are all tired of hearing no one has to tomorrow promised. However, this word study seems to contradict that statement.

I found in the scriptures we do have tomorrow promised. Please read Ecclesiastes 3:11 it clearly states “He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.’

It also states in James 4;14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For 

He has thought of everything and He has left us so many clues.. Why don’t we see them? I guess we are just too busy watching the clock?

So, what do we do with this little nugget of information? I say we take our eye off the clock and focus on Him because our life is but a vapor and in time it will vanish from the earth.

But as we focus on Him. He will teach us what to value. Who to value, When to value. He holds all the secrets in His heart. His beauty is He is willing to share them with His children. We just need to be ready to listen.  

Our Father gave us the moon, the sun, and the stars to guide our days, our nights, our months, and years.  And the tools to learn each valuable lesson. 

I see this as a simple math problem. 

1.   Earthly possessions + Life = Vapor  

2.   Our Heavenly Father + love = Promise of Eternity 

Choices 

It's Him, It's always Him 

He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11

James 4;14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now, is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you. Hosea 10:12
